PPengguna TetamuGreat hotel and location but not necessarily a 5 star service for reasons as follows:
1. It took 6 hours for our luggage to be taken to our room (it was only 2 rucksacks) which we would have happily carried up to our room ourselves but they insisted on check-in for us to leave for them to do.
2. The rudest restaurant hostess Valentine we have ever met in our many years of travelling and dining - when my husband asked to book a table for dinner, she failed to look up from her notepad and barked loudly and aggressively the words ‘WHAT?’ at him.
3. Restaurant clearly understaffed in the evening and being carried by a few superb waiting staff, namely Ken, whilst others swan around busy with little impact. Food was great and timely (once you could order it).
4. Tried to order a bottle of wine with dinner - Two of the four white wines on the menu were out of stock.
Clearly some teething issues with this new hotel, understaffed and poor communication and training. A few excellent staff too. But seemed to lack any meaningful or visible leadership in key client facing areas, which the brigade seemed to need.

SSurajnThe location is near the Nice airport, which is very convenient. The tram and bus stops are right outside the hotel, so you have easy access to the airport, and to the city centers of Nice, Cannes and other locations.
The hotel, overall, was clear. They did a good job with the rooms, which were fairly spacious, only there was a bit of confusion about which glass bottles were clean or dirty outside, near the water machine, which is the only way you can get drinking water for the room. The clean bottles were supposed to be on top of the machine outside, near the elevator, but I was unsure if those bottles were actually clean.
The service was very good, the team at the front desk was very helpful. There was a small scare when we first arrived, as the hotel said that they did not have our booking in their system (which I had fully paid for in advice, on Trip.com). They made a few phone calls, and we managed to get the 2 rooms that we booked for the five of us (2 adults, 3 children). I should point out that they said I was lucky that they had their last 2 rooms available, which they keep for such emergencies.
I did not pay for breakfast, but we did eat the breakfast there twice, and if one adult buys the breakfast (19 euros), then the children are free. That worked well for us, and the children enjoyed the breakfast, as did the adults.
There is a swimming pool, which is a small to medium size, and although we didn't use it, saw that many others were enjoying the pool. The gym was a decent size, but there were no free weights, which I like to use, so I did not use the gym. The restaurant connected to the hotel is only open Monday to Friday, and the menu is limited. There is not a great selection of restaurants nearby, but you can order in from others further away, though you will find that they make mistakes.
Overall, a good choice for a reasonable hotel near the airport with good access to the cities around.

PPengguna TetamuA great 4 nights stay at the Mercure Centre Notre Dame Nice late Sept 2024.
The check in was a bit confusing as we booked and paid for a double Privilege room and we were assigned to a standard twin room. I came back immediately to reception and the swap was performed.
The room was well equipped and the cleaning teams were very efficient.
The breakfast food was average as we have had to ask for replenishment of some of the dishes. The choices of hot food were very limited.
The staff at reception were very helpful to book taxi for us.

PPengguna TetamuI had a couple days available and quickly decided to spend them in the South of France. I haven't been there for years, about time to catch up. And it was a wonderful time, the hotel is located absolutely perfect, only minutes to the beaches, to the restaurant and to the main shopping streets. As I also took some time to jump over to Monte Carlo, Cannes and Grasse, it turned out that the Gare de Ville, the main train station also is just located like a 10 minute walk. Absolutely wonderful, no need for a taxi, or Uber or anything, everything possibleby foot.
The rooms at the hotel are not necessarily the latest fashion and one can say for sure a bit used, but well, all I need is a good and clean bed, and it was very comfortable for a good night rest. The bathroom had all the needed accessories like hair dryer, and more importantly, a good hot shower.
Needless to say that the team at the hotel are friendly, helpful and always have a smile for you.
Thank you for a wonderful stay, and I surely will try to get there again when in Nice next time!

The location was amazing and literally could walk anywhere that you want to visit.

I recommend this please for your stay even they have roof-top swimming pool that it opens from 15th of April.

PPengguna TetamuFantastic hotel with great location. Rooms were lovely with a terrace. Lovely touch at night with a turndown service. Chocolate and gold eye masks. Spa and rooftop pool were great especially after a long day sightseeing. Rooms cleaned to perfection and all fresh towels and bedding. Staff were fantastic especially Samantha who checked us in. She was friendly and gave plenty of recommendations for eating and heading out on day trips. She also brought balloons and welcome champagne as it was a special trip with a lovely card from the hotel staff. She was amazing and is a credit to the hotel.
Location 7mins to the beach and 7mins to the train station. Perfect for exploring the coast.
Will be returning to the hotel in the near future. Thank you for a special stay.

PPengguna TetamuSorry to say it's not worth what I've spent. Being 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids under 3yo) the ”family room” is insufficient in terms of overall space, size of main bed, and comfort of couch/bed. The room is a typical single room with one additional couch. Once the couch is open, there is no space to walk. The main bed is queen-sized, and the sofa is even smaller, and it is very, very uncomfortable. I consider it an inferior room, considering I've paid +500€ per night.
Position-wise, the hotel is quite far from the center (5-6 tram stops) and very close to the airport, so you could hear the planes landing and taking off quite often.
I'm not a big fan of beaches with pebbles, but Nice is like this. What is very unfortunate is that the beach in front of the hotel only opens at 10 a.m., which is just too late for a family travelling to the seaside in summer. The breakfast was very good.

MMargaritaThe hotel has got a prefect location in the Nice centre and offers some unique facility - roof swimming pool and seats for the tan.
We had just a one serious problem in the bathroom - water have spread out from the douche pipe apart the main spray so we can not use it. We waited for 3 days since our claim while they fix it. Pity.
