I had an excellent experience at Villa Viva Hamburg. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, providing top-notch service. When I mentioned my claustrophobia concerns about the assigned room, they quickly upgraded me without any issues, which was truly impressive. However, upon arrival, we encountered challenges finding Villa Viva Hamburg due to an imprecise pinned location on our map. Despite our attempts to call for directions, we unfortunately didn't receive a response. After persistently searching and circling the area, we eventually located the place. Overall, despite the initial difficulty in locating the villa, my stay was very satisfactory.

On the positive side, this hotel is adequate and clean. It is walking distance to Hamburg central train station. The staff are friendly. The room is very basic, includes no complementary bottle of water, no fridge, no cups for drinking or brushing teeth. It was also very small. The place has somewhat of a youth hostel vibe. I had been expected more as it cost me almost EUR 200 per night.

Good hotel. All new. Location is perfect! Rooms OK, because we knew the rooms are tiny. Bathroom is great. Beds way too hard, reason to not sleep here again. Breakfast is good. Keep in mind the concept of the hotel if you go there. The RoofDrop bar is great for the view and there drinks (cocktails!). We did not understand why it is totally different from the rest of the hotel. Seating terrible.

Our double room was far too small for a couple. Whilst the bed was comfortable I had to climb wooden steps to get into it.. dangerous! Bathroom also too small, not even a glass to hold a toothbrush, combined shampoo & soap provided was very harsh. No bottled water provided, no wardrobe & no TV. Food is Vegetarian only really.. Meat dish not specified on menu & appears to be frowned upon. This hotel takes sustainability too far for our liking, and staff have a bit of an attitude about it! Strangely, there’s bare concrete walls & flooring everywhere (hardly match the environmentally friendly ethos).

Minimalistic & comfortable. Very nice view from the roof terrace over Hamburg. Breakfast was very good. How ever, the food could be better distributed. It took me time to find things. On the rooms, there could be hairdrayers, too. I liked the bed very much..

New hotel, construction works in front of the building entrance are still pending. Hotel looks very interesting and modern but some solutions seems to be design over function. Standard rooms are very tiny, no room for the suitcase. The bed is on the plywood podium (mind the corner when you climb on it). It would be very cool solution, but the window is facing the close apartment building. In the bathroom there is no shelf to put the toiletries. The positive: lovely and friendly staff, very nice breakfast,

Great staffs!
It was a little hard to find the entrance of the hotel due to construction around the hotel. Also, it’s not so easy to find elevator and a room at the first sight. Need more sign and proper sign location.
This is a new hotel, so be careful not to touch the asfalt wall in the room. Otherwise, you’ll wear clothes with white powder.
