The hotel was excellent, a beautiful and comfortable room, the employees are nice and welcoming, highly recommend👌

While near the hotel there is not too much to do. Taking a bike or metro is very easy and brings you to within 1/2 hour to a lot of nice places like the beautiful lake with view on Pagoda

The hotel seem very new and the room was very comfy. I would come back next time!

Pretty nice hotel. Stayed here with my girlfriend for 3 nights. The price is amazing for what you get. Our room was extremely spacious with a huge bathroom and nice king-sized bed. There's plenty of storage space and even a small kitchen in the room. The location is alright, but we weren't trying to be close to the center of Hangzhou anyway, so it was okay for us. The front desk was fairly nice and accommodating. All in all, I would recommend!

Friendly reception, good location, spacious room. Bathrooms are not private though. Convenient for solo business travelers.

Really friendly staff. Staff are kind and polite and Several times help me. Room was clean and every equipment is new and clean.

Lovely hotel. This is probably my 5th time staying at the hotel and the staff are so friendly.

The room was beautiful and clean. The shower was fantastic with lots of pressure and a large shower head. The bed was firm yet comfortable. The area is a quiet area, especially at night (no disturbances). There is a Starbucks a couple minutes walk away for a quick coffee run. The location was great for what I was in the area for. I did have a little trouble entering the location into the English Version Didi app. I ended up pulling the location on a Chinese maps app and the driver followed that. After that, I ended up typing in the DongFang Venice International Hotel into Didi since it was basically around the corner. I did notice that when opening Didi at the hotel it appeared to be called Jiayue Hotel (selecting Joy Hotel in Didi is not the correct location despite the address appearing to be the same as what was described in Trip App). The entrance to the hotel is on a small side street/complex area across from the Venice International Hotel. I have nothing but a positive impression of this hotel other than initially trying to find it. The thing I love most was that it was walking distance (10minutes) from Panchos Mexican Restaurant that I love to visit when in town. The photo attached shows the back side of Joy Hotel in view of the Dongfang Venice International Hotel. The primary Joy Hotel entrance is just around the other side of the building.

Not bad at all, nothing fancy but definitely worth going again for a short stay. Dirty mat, hairdryer wasn’t working but everything else was ok. A bit of a walk from the metro but it’s okay if you don’t have bags.

We loved our stay at Joy Hotel. Although the rooms were very basic, and void of any ambience, it served its purpose. It was spacious and the bathroom was so beautiful!! The bathtub was big enough to accommodate 2 and the staff were friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff never bothered at odd hours and cleaned our room in the evening to accommodate us and our schedule. Overall, good stay. We stayed during the holidays so the price was higher but the hotels location is quite good and close enough to places of interest.

everything is ok, will come again this hotel if go to this place again. Breakfast also ok. Receptionist, worker, cleaner all friendly. The only one I cant accept, there is a big see through window from bed to bath room. When switch on the light of bathroom, even with curtain but still can see inside. For twin bed room, hope that can change to can't see through curtain.

The location was great! Close a subway station, so that’s very convenient. The service was also great, only the breakfast was very poor..

Very nice hotel, close to some good spots in Hangzhou, and even closer to the subway station and bus stops. When booking, please do consider the bathroom area is see-through, therefore going with someone as friends, like I did, could be slightly awkward. Overall, a pretty nice stay, and I wouldn't mind booking it again.

Got an upgrade from superior to business superior because the rugs got cleaned. Very friendly staff and an overall satisfying experience. Bus station is very close, metro approx. 10 min walk away and at night it’s quite quiet.
