Ulasan Hanoi Calido Hotel

We traveled around Hanoi and Sapa for 2 weeks and stayed at 5 hotels. Unfortunately, this was the one with the poorest service. The hotel felt overly strict. Even though our room was ready, they insisted that check-in could not be before 14:00 unless we paid an extra fee. We were also required to sign an agreement stating that we would be responsible for any damaged or missing items. Being asked to sign this kind of agreement itself left a very bad impression. I have never had to sign such an agreement at any hotel in my life. In contrast, the other 4 hotels made us feel genuinely welcomed, cared for, and were always helpful. The room design was nice, but the toilet often needed to be flushed 2–3 times, the shower leaked badly, and there was a strong drain smell in the bathroom. Breakfast was very basic. Overall, for this price, there are many better hotels to choose from in Hanoi.

Love the overall vibe! Very homey. Wish there was more delicious breakfast though and the beds were sturdier!

This was a strange experience. Do NOT book this hotel if you require a place with strong wifi connection. The wifi cuts out quite regularly and is borderline unusable. The room is fine as long as all you require is a bed to sleep in, I will say the bed was VERY comfortable compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in. The shower head was leaky (eh didn’t really bother me) but trying to find which direction to turn the tap to find the hot water was like trying to tune an old radio 🥴. The free breakfast in the morning was like being cooked a home cooked meal by your aunt and uncle (a little uncomfortable but free food is free food), just don’t go popping the free candy in your mouth without checking it first as ants seem to get everywhere here (but that’s just my personal experience). The staff are polite. The location is good but keep in mind that you are VERY close to the Train Street and the trains are VERY loud and you can hear them from the hotel 🥲. Do you want to sacrifice quality sleep for a prime location? Thats up to you. Overall was a pretty meh hotel 6/10 experience 🤷♀️

The customer service is top notch but the room is not that much clean and well set up. The kettle is not clean. Overall 6/10

The location is very good! They’ve all the amenities you want and the hair dryer is very good!

The room that has no window or balcony was smelly. And their breakfast was not satisfying.

The room was beautiful but the toilet was a bit dirty and their breakfast was not good.

Fantastic location to explore Hanoi’s famous train street and old town and local surrounding area from fruit stores to busy streets unfortunately didn’t get pictures of the room but they were very clean and spacious. Excellent customer service when helping us with grab taxis and locating a missing item we had left in a grab! Highly recommend for their service. Easy to get a trip to ha long bay from this hotel .

great location for food and shopping. there is a bar outside of the hotel which i highly recommend for late night drinks.

Very close to train street

Location wise is good. Except that the room is outdated and poorly manage. I understand that the building is pld. But the furniture and finishing on the wall, ceiling, its very old. Breakfast was bad. They pre cook the waffle and serve it for the next several days i guess. I saw them pre cook it and fill it in a large container till its full. But the staff was good.

Amazing hotel tucked in a quiet area , away from the hustle and bustle but still within the old quarter. Nice rooms friendly hotel staff. Definitely a must stay when your in hanoi.

Generally a great hotel, very serviceable. Staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Room was pretty clean too. Only thing we had complaints of was the toilet. Toilet flush was weak and the shower was very hot. Overall, still a great hotel and wouldn’t mind staying again.

Very centrical hotel, location was very good and staff was very friendly.
