We stayed for 2 nights with our two young children. The room was spacious, and the beds were comfortable with good cushioning, making for a pleasant stay. While it's a bit far from Waikiki, we didn't feel the distance because walking there while enjoying the Hawaiian breeze made the time fly by. The bus stop is also close by, so using TheBus is convenient if you have a lot of luggage. There's a small supermarket nearby as well, so getting late-night snacks was no problem. The acai bowl at the cafe on the first floor of the hotel was delicious. And the coffee cups are huge! The staff there are cheerful and kind, and the American vibe of the cafe is great. I highly recommend this cafe for breakfast. Although it doesn't have a resort feel, I think it's a hotel where you can fully enjoy Hawaii on a budget.

Location: Easily accessible by bus from the airport, and the walking distance from the bus stop to the hotel is manageable. It's quite close to the Hilton Hawaiian Village, making it convenient to catch the Friday night fireworks. While not directly on Waikiki Beach, it's still within walking distance. You can walk to the Royal Hawaiian Center for some shopping, and then it's a short stroll to Waikiki Beach. Service: You can get complimentary cookies every day, which is a nice touch! They also helped me mail postcards. The staff who handled luggage storage were very polite and even helped me load my bags into my car when I checked out. Facilities: There's a capsule coffee machine, so you can enjoy Hawaiian coffee daily. Other facilities were also perfectly fine and contributed to a good experience. Environment: The view from the balcony was decent – not a full ocean view, but you could still see the sea in the distance. It essentially overlooks the Hilton Hawaiian Village's coastline. The DoubleTree itself has a gym and a simple rooftop pool, which were both adequate for my needs.

The quality of the stay was so good, I just had to extend it for another day!

There were fireworks at the Hilton on Friday starting at 7:45 PM, lasting for 5 minutes. Please be aware of your surroundings, as there have been reports of homeless people harassing individuals near the hotel. To get to the airport, you can take the W bus line from the bus stop located 300 meters away.

The hotel's location is excellent. You can easily walk to Ala Moana Center and the Duty Free shop downtown. The hotel environment is also quite good. Highly recommended!

The location was great, very close to the bus stop and a supermarket. The bathroom was a bit small with limited space for toiletries, but the room itself was spacious and clean. Early check-in cost an extra $50, but it's recommended if you arrive in the morning and want to relax in your room right away.

The lei we made is everything!

Old-fashioned American-style room with an old toilet and outdated furniture. The shower stall was small. The location was decent, about a 15-minute walk to both Waikiki center and Ala Moana.

The room was more spacious than I expected, which made for a comfortable stay. It also had a balcony with views of both Diamond Head and the ocean. The location was excellent and very convenient.

The front desk staff were kind, and the breakfast was lavish and delicious—it was truly excellent. The hotel is also conveniently located near a bus stop, making travel easy. The pool water was cold, a bit too chilly for an evening swim, but the poolside area was comfortable and refreshing.

The room was decent. It's quite close to the beach and the surrounding area is convenient.

On the last day at this hotel, I left my Japanese wallet in the safe. I realized it at the next hotel I moved to that same day. I immediately went back to inquire, but was told nothing had been handed in. When I asked to check the room, they said a new guest was already staying there and that even after asking them, nothing was found. I was told the security manager, who knows the reset code, would be in the next morning, so I should speak to them directly. The next day, I returned to the front desk, but there was still no report, and the safe hadn't been reset. So, I called the police and filed a lost property report. After that, I went to the front desk twice more with local friends to push the matter, but they maintained that if it wasn't there, it wasn't there. In the end, the day after I returned home, I received a call from the hotel asking if I still wanted the wallet, as it had been found in the safe. What irresponsible, unhelpful, and disappointing service. On top of that, I had to pay for the shipping to Japan myself. All that time I kept going back to the front desk, asking them to search and check, and the wallet had been in the safe the whole time. I will never stay at this hotel again, and I am very disappointed with the Hilton group.

The room was a bit dated, with a typical, no-frills American hotel layout. However, the location was quite good.
