Hostels di Kunming

Location was great that it was a walk away from the Kunming Railway Station where I needed to be to leave the city. I liked how it was near a lot of food places! The volunteer Evens was an interesting person to talk to when I learned about his background in what he does as an occupation and where he is originally from in China. The owner Winni was a nice person as well and I appreciated and enjoy her and some of the other guests that cooked for us the night that we had a big dinner. Thank you for being part of the chef crew Winni. Everybody who stayed at the place was respectful and considered towards one another in the way that they conducted themselves. Was able to go along with the rules of this hostel because it fit my daily habits. Nobody had any habits that bothered me. Not really into the hostel type of stays, due to lack of privacy. Was just happy to stay at this place since it was pretty much right at the doorstep of the Kunming Railway station where I can catch my train on time where I wouldn't end up getting lost in the city which in turn would end up missing it. The only negative thing that I didn't like was that the bathroom did not have bath towels and just regular hand towels where I would not be able to dry myself very well after showering. Because of this I didn't want to take a shower at this place and the fact that these towels were used repeatedly from other guests, which made me feel uncomfortable wanting to use it. Would come back to this Hostel again if I happen to have to come back to Kunming again where I needed to be near this train station to catch at train there.

Not really a youth hostel but someone's high rise flat filled with beds on 7th floor. Excellent location near to railway station but difficult to find on the map and you need to ring the owner who doesn't speak English. I've added the photo of the entrance doorway and amended map but you still need to ring the owner to get access. Cramped, only one bathroom for a lot of people, but kitchen with kettle and living area, good budget accommodation for a night, I wouldn't stay here longer.

I stayed in a private room here and it was great. The room was quiet, clean & comfy. Special mention goes to the AMAZING view out the window as the hostel is on the 23rd floor! And the private room has a terrace/balcony thing. The communal area was very spacious and lots of desk space and sofas and stuff. Washing facilities too but I didn't use them! There is a refillable drinking water station - hot and cold water. Great location - 10 minute walk to the very bustling street food market! About a ten minute walk to the nearest metro station. My only gripe was the bathrooms - or lack thereof. There were only 2 bathrooms which were shower/toilet combos, which for a pretty well attended hostel means a fair bit of waiting around to use them. You have to be tactical about when you go! And because they were communal they weren't super clean, but I guess that is to be expected - just something to be aware of if you're squeamish. There's plenty of slippers to be had (in fact, outdoor shoes aren't allowed in the hostel at all!)

Jadual perjalanan asal saya hanya untuk lima hari sebelum berlepas, saya ingin tinggal satu hari lagi mereka berada di tingkat atas bangunan kediaman, yang saya tidak begitu suka Akhirnya, saya masih fikir adalah lebih baik untuk tidak memindahkan bagasi saya dan tinggal di hotel dan bilik yang sama. Persekitaran di sekitar rumah penginapan ini bagus dan antik. Foto-foto ini diambil kira-kira jam 6 pagi. Terdapat sebuah restoran di sebelah teres saya rasa di tingkat atas tidak dibuka untuk orang ramai bangunan bawah tanah tidak boleh diakses oleh pelancong. Jadi tiada orang luar akan mengganggu teres ini. Suatu hari saya memerlukan sidang video pada asalnya saya tidak mahu kembali ke hotel, tetapi demi privasi, saya mengambil teksi untuk pulang ke hotel juga melihat pemandangan. Satu lagi kelebihan teres ini ialah pakaian yang telah dibasuh boleh dijemur di sini.

The staff here is quite nice, they give you a disposable towel (a nightmare for the environment but it's a kind gesture, though), there is free drinking water at the reception and there was a washing machine that was free to use. The building is super interesting and has a very cool cylinder-shaped courtyard where people love taking photos. The building is full of artsy places and cafés. The reception is on another floor and quite far away from the dorm, though. That also means that most people will stay in the dorm, eating, being on phones etc. The problem here is that the hostel failed to put up signs that food isn't allowed in the rooms so you can't point those guests towards it. What is normal in almost every other country isn't normal in this one. Whenever I have a roommate who feels like he needs to burp every 30 seconds, fart and clear his throat at the same time, I want to book a ticket out of this country immediately. At this hostel I was also unlucky in that regard. I'm mentioning this because certain types of hostels attract certain types of people. These Chinese-style squat toilets they have here mean that you will stand in someone else's piss every time you enter the bathroom. And that toilet is right underneath you when you take a shower.

Godd hostel. I'd stay there again. You don't get keys or code from the bottom door before elevators, but this isn't an issue since there are a lot of people going in and out all the time.

Staying at this hotel was extremely convenient. The most important thing for a hotel is cleanliness, and this hotel is very tidy with incredibly affordable prices. The owner (the lady boss), along with her mother and son, were extremely kind—they helped with everything, provided pick-up and drop-off services, and made the trip very smooth. This was my first time staying at this hotel, and the owner treated me like family. I’m truly grateful! If I visit Kunming again, I’ll definitely stay here once more. 这家酒店住起来非常方便。对于一个酒店来说，最重要的是清洁卫生。这家酒店非常干净，而且价格也非常实惠。老板娘和她的家人（妈妈和儿子）都特别友善，事事都热心帮忙解答，还提供接送服务，让整个旅程非常顺利。这是我第一次住这家酒店，老板娘待我像家人一样，非常感谢！下次再来昆明的话，我一定还会选择住这里。

Had a wonderful stay here. I felt at home in this place. The owner and daughter are very friendly and helpful. The lower bunks are actually bigger than usual bed bunks. The location is excellent! It is right in the heart of the city center. There are many affordable restaurants in the area. Kunming city center is charming 😍. Overall, I had a good and positive experience staying in this hostel.

Jika anda orang Malaysia, tolong baca komen saya tanpa terjemahan. Hotel ini memang dekat dengan stesen keretapi. Walaupun anda sudah sedia maklum hotel ini teruk, tetapi anda tetap hendak membelinya kerana miskin, saya merayu, tolonglah kayakan diri anda sedikit lagi untuk membeli hotel yang lebih baik. Hotel ini sangat ngeri. Berbau rokok, lembab, hapak yang sangat kuat. Hancing. Nyamuk banyak. Lantainya sangat kotor. Kami hanya duduk 3 jam. Cepat-cepat mahu keluar kerana sangat lemas berada di sana. Anda layak untuk hotel yang lebih baik.
