EastSeven Hostel is clean, modern and well maintained. There are many young volunteers, and the staff are friendly and easy to talk to.
Breakfast is available from 6:00 to 10:00, mainly milk and cereals. The hostel has a strong social vibe, with movie nights, drinking games and quiz nights. Many guests go clubbing together. The female dorm stays quiet at night.
There are unisex bathroom and female-only bathroom, both with separate shower areas. The rooms are warm, with good heating, bedside lights and a hair dryer available (in the bathroom. ) â very comfortable in Berlin winter.
Public transport is close: about a 5-minute walk to the U-Bahn and 10 minutes to bus stops. The airport is around 1 hour away, and Berlin Central Station just over 20 minutes.
Tip: during U2 construction near Senefelderplatz, ride one extra stop toward Pankow and change back.
Overall, a solid choice if you want a clean, social hostel with easy transport access.

PPengguna TetamuThe location is great, being very close to the MTR station, which is convenient for transportation.
However, I experienced some issues during my stay. Firstly, there were unpleasant smells in the bathroom, which was quite off-putting. Additionally, I was disappointed to find out that no female rooms were provided. This became a concern for me as there were some uncomfortable encounters with male guests, making it potentially unsafe for solo female travelers. Fortunately, after switching to another room, the situation improved.
If you are looking for a hostel in Berlin, I believe there are better options available that would provide a safer and more comfortable stay.

AAlvinMAAI stayed at Generator Berlin Alexanderplatz and overall had a pretty good experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the heating in the room was excellent â the space felt warm and very comfortable throughout my stay. The hostelâs common areas and facilities were also quite nice.
The only downside was the cleanliness inside my dorm room. Some roommates didnât maintain good hygiene: they sometimes ate food inside the room, talked loudly on the phone late at night, and even left the bathroom unflushed. I also ended up throwing away plastic bottles left behind by others.
This wasnât the hostelâs fault, but more about the behavior of certain guests. Aside from that, the hostel itself is great, and I would consider staying again â hopefully with more considerate roommates next time.

PPengguna TetamuYou get what you paid for. The location is somewhat ok, you have to walk for 10-15mins from Central Station. I arrived late night and check-in was smooth. I was in a 8-bedder room, and it was actually quite spacious. They have some hook to hang your jacket, some rack for you to put your backpack underneath the bed. Nothing fancy, so only choose if you're looking for a place just to sleep. Other than that, they also have a common area where you can sit. You might also need to pay extra for luggage storage and towel.

AAridThe carpet on the floors smells bad. When you enter the hostel above the bar, the hallway always smells like urine. Thats the first impression
Generally the shared toilets are kept clean. But they went 1 full day with no liquid soap or paper towels.
For breakfast they offer no eggs.
The light in the room is very dim, but the rooms are spacious. Location is good
For this price in other european cities you can get a good 4* hotel room. I would not recommend it. Expensive for the service you get back

Got on great with all of my dorm-mates during my 5 nights stay over the long Easter weekend. I highly recommend this hostel.

000100The hostel was alright, but the room feels quite small, Iâm 5,5 and canât even seat straight at the bottom bed, and to be absolutely honest, I believe the toilet signs should be more clear about male and female showers and toilet, would also recommend working on the cleanness of the shower room as well. On the other hand, the staff were all pretty friendly and willing to help, some doesnât speak English and that did caused confusion to me but everything was good at the end. Over all Iâm happy with my stay but probably wonât come back for the next time.

Reception services were good and could stay in lobby kitchen before check in time.
The room had oven, fridges, sink and the bathroom and shower is common.
The surprise was that there was also a tv.
The breakfast has not many vegan options as announced but it was quite good and is taken outside where is also garden.

JJerryting07Good hostel , room are spacious and the bed is comfortable. Location wise it near to public transportation. The receptionist are very welcoming and helpful toward all the guess so i would highly recommend this place and will definitely come back here again.
