Decent hostel, relatively clean and facilities are good. Location is good has a tram and metro stop right outside. Only downside is upon arrival 3/4 of the locks didn’t work in our rooms so we had to get reception to fix. However, they were very efficient and felled straight away. Also to note that reception normally only has one staff member on so you might be waiting a while to be seen to

Hotel staat in de steigers. Voor en achter! De naam Arche is niet te zien vanaf de straat In de avond zitten de buren buiten en je kunt alles letterlijk verstaan. Net als het gerammel in de keuken. De kamer en de gang ruiken muf vanwege de vloerbedekking. Veel vlekken ook. De kamer is ruim. De badkamer is ruim voldoende. Er is zeep en shampoo aanwezig. De meubels zijn erg gedateerd bruin. De tv is een computermonitor. Er is geen ventilator of airco. De handdoeken worden verwisseld maar de ene keer krijg je 2 kleintjes, de andere keer 2 grote. 1 handdoek pp is weinig bij temperaturen van 30 graden binnen en buiten. Het kamermeisje had onze kamer niet op slot gedraaid. De deur was wel dicht maar iedereen had er binnen kunnen lopen aangezien de toegangsdeur de hele dag open stond vanwege de werklui buiten. Toen we er melding van deden zei de receptioniste: oh oké. Geen excuses. Was kennelijk normaal. Het ontbijt kost 7,50 en is ruim voldoende. Brood, toast, cake, yoghurt en diverse beleggen. Je mag zoveel koffie, thee of jus nemen als je wilt. Parkeren kan voor 16 euro pd. in de straat is het 14 euro voor een dagkaart. Tis een drukke straat. Er zijn heel veel eettentjes, veelal oosters, in de buurt. 24-7 winkeltjes. Metro vlakbij. Diverse stepplekken. Kortom voor de prijs is het voldoende maar het zou veel beter kunnen.

I stayed here for a group event held at a nearby location. II had a private room with private bath. The hostel has a breakfast buffet which has some hot items as well as rolls, cheeses, fruit, and cereal. The hostel is located near the Hermanplatz metro station. I would stay here again if I were visting Berlin in the future.

I originally booked a different type of room and wanted to change and they were helpful in the process. It's more of a student-type accommodation but they had options for different kinds of travelers. It was of good walking distance to the central railway and accessible to different kinds of transportation. The room was comfortable and clean enough.

This is great if you stay in Berlin for a few days. It’s good that public transport is right outside the hostel. It’s a bit far from the main city so you will have to get a few public transport to get there. The beds are squeaky but comfortable enough. The television is in German which is expected. There is no rooms with a shower or toilet in them, so you will have to walk to the shower and toilet. It is a shared bathroom. You will need to give separate deposit if you need towels and utensils and to wash and dry your clothes. The deposit can only be made in cash. There are no bins in the room but the rooms do have a fridge and a locker and a table and chairs. The hostel is great for sleeping and then leaving the next day to do activities.

PPengguna TetamuExceptional quirky pod hotel…. more a pod hotel than a hostel although it has that friendly social hostel feel with the other guests. A really unusual theme which many others checking in remarked on how cool it was. There’s screens showing a planet or stars moving down each corridor to add to the space station feel. The pods are very comfortable with the novelty of different lighting. Folding table, charge points, mirror, clock etc. The doors lock as you close them making you feel very secure and needs a button pressing to open them again (shall we open the airlock captain haha). It really does feel like many sci-fi movies or console games. The washrooms are the cleanest most luxurious I’ve seen in a shared place. More like a corridor with individual private bathrooms you can lock yourself in. Modern dark tiling and very clean. Wi-Fi is good as we’d expect/demand. Local area felt safe and was a manageable walk for someone fit to the Brandenburg Gate for example at half an hour. Checkpoint Charlie area is really near to give an orientation. There’s a Lidl nearby for eats and great range of beers. Not hard to find restaurants though. Buses go outside and regularly. One negative, the upper pods are accessed by floating stairs and a handle to pull yourself up with. It can be a little tricky and completely unsuitable for anyone infirm.

PPengguna TetamuA cozy hostel with a hidden gem inside. The only Circus that brews is a really cool way to interest new guests. If I'll explain The Circus Hostel from the underground to the top, I appreciate the spacy luggage room for free. I also like the small bar under the ground that offered us a free beer sample which tastes really great. And I'm sayin it as a Czech. On the ground, there's a cute cafe, friendly and kind crew ready for everything that could happen and tram station right before the hostel entrance. Higher levels are just full of modern rooms and shared toilets and showers. You may miss the fridge and towels but reception offers both to borrow. And the bonus that i wanna mention is that there are many good stores, cafes and restaurants around Circus and metro station nearby.

000100The hostel was alright, but the room feels quite small, I’m 5,5 and can’t even seat straight at the bottom bed, and to be absolutely honest, I believe the toilet signs should be more clear about male and female showers and toilet, would also recommend working on the cleanness of the shower room as well. On the other hand, the staff were all pretty friendly and willing to help, some doesn’t speak English and that did caused confusion to me but everything was good at the end. Over all I’m happy with my stay but probably won’t come back for the next time.

DDori BHighly recommended, closed to the underground station which is a plus. The rooms are well-maintained and clean. I stayed in a mixed dormitory, which was spacious and equipped with sturdy, comfortable bunk beds. Each bed had its own reading light, power outlet, and a privacy curtain, which is a thoughtful touch. People nice and respectful!

On a tout aimé : le bon rapport qualité/prix, les chambres propres avec de quoi charger son portable près du lit, le personnel super sympa, les petits déjeuners buffet (beaucoup de choix), le dîner buffet très varié également avec du végétarien et vegan. PPengguna TetamuThe hostel is very dirty. All the surfaces are sticky. There is a terrible stench in the rooms, toilets, corridors and lobby. Things forgotten by the previous tenants are lying around until they are thrown away by the current tenants. Mattresses are stained with brown stains, possibly menstrual blood (I was in the women's room). The pillows are crumpled and terribly uncomfortable. The beds stand so you can't fully open the window to air it out. The lobby is very noisy and smelly too, apparently there is no ventilation or it is blocked. Absolutely not recommended, even for 25€ a night! It's too much for this place.

PPengguna TetamuBasic but clean hotel in a good location in neukölln. It’s more like a hostel than a hotel, there is never anybody at the reception. So better have a cell phone ready to contact anyone if you need assistance. when I arrived in the evening (you can check in until 10 pm) nobody was at the reception to open the door and I didn’t have a cell phone.

MMinka minaAn sich war alles in Ordnung. Das einzige was halt sehr schade ist, sind die dreckigen und total verkalkten duschköpfe... Das Klopapier ist zu rau und auch die kissen sind nicht so gemütlich gewesen... Aber am sonsten wars in Ordnung.... Man könnte auch dafür sorgen, dass jeder der im Zimmer ist einen eigenen Schlüssel bekommt, statt dass sich alle ein Schlüssel teilen müssen.
