Cari Hotel 2-Star di Berlin

My room was 5th floor and elevator was not working in that moment that was so hard due to walking up and down.

The hotel is near the famous Alexanderplatz; unfortunately near the bridge of the U-Bahn. The smell of pee outside is off putting to say the least. The hotel and rooms are clean, unfortunately there’s carpet everywhere. So you can’t really tell. It’s not hygienic. The rooms are a little small, there’s little space to empty your luggage and nowhere to actually put it. The plug situation in the room is ridiculous. In a double room, there’s only one plug near only one of the beds. In the shower, there’s nothing to place your own shampoo and conditioner and so on. The TV doesn’t have any mirrorcast/airtv options to screen something from your phone/tablet, and most of the channels are in German.

The location of the hotel was perfect, very close to the train station and thus walkable to a lot of the main tourist spots. Overall super satisfied and recommend. The hostel also had a public kitchen for use, which makes preparing meals to be very convenient.

Very good place! But the room temperature was all over the place

It's a very young and vibrant hostel. Many young people, would be kind of rowdy and loud in the common area, but the space is so big and comfortable. There's a guest kicthen to cook your meals too. Also, I actually also lost my key card and they replaced it for free!

Anjelika was super friendly and patient when checking me in! A lovely staff member goes a really long way. However the hostel does have pretty firm mattresses unfortunately. But it's near to good nightlife spots.

Just a little bit far from the Berlin centre but if I use the airport that would be a great location so next time if I use it I'll come again

We stay in A&o while on vacation in Berlin Reception staff and room everything was great. Thank you.

Die Rezeption wird von freundlichen älteren Damen betreut, die sehr um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht sind. Im Zimmer ist alles da: schön drapierte Handtücher auf dem Bett, Duschgel, Flüssigseife für die Handwäsche im Bad. Das Frühstück war besser als ich dachte: frische Brötchen, Käse, S*****en, Wurst, Ei, Kuchen, usw. Nur der Beuteltee war schon etwas alt. Aber sonst alles OK, sogar Tisch-Abfallbehälter waren vorhanden. Das Hotel hat aber schon einige Jahre auf dem Buckel und die Möbel sind etwas abgetragen, das Bett knarrte stark und die Dusche war nicht ganz sauber. Ich war in der obersten Etage untergebracht. Dort roch es etwas nach kaltem Zigarettenrauch, obwohl es ein Nichtraucher Hotel ist. Das war den Rezeptionistinnen aber auch sehr unangenehm. Einen öffentlichen Parkplatz für das Auto zu finden, war ein Alptraum, so dass ich das Angebot für einen Stellplatz hinterm Hotel angenommen habe. Dort war es gut aufgehoben.
