PPengguna TetamuThe interior design indeed fits with the description. Bathrooms are spacious. There are some stains on the wall in my cabin though. Also, it wasn't soundproofed. There are supermarkets nearby; The nearest Metro station is around 10 minutes walk. The service is nice.

However, I experienced some issues during my stay. Firstly, there were unpleasant smells in the bathroom, which was quite off-putting. Additionally, I was disappointed to find out that no female rooms were provided. This became a concern for me as there were some uncomfortable encounters with male guests, making it potentially unsafe for solo female travelers. Fortunately, after switching to another room, the situation improved.
If you are looking for a hostel in Berlin, I believe there are better options available that would provide a safer and more comfortable stay.

PPengguna TetamuYou get what you paid for. The location is somewhat ok, you have to walk for 10-15mins from Central Station. I arrived late night and check-in was smooth. I was in a 8-bedder room, and it was actually quite spacious. They have some hook to hang your jacket, some rack for you to put your backpack underneath the bed. Nothing fancy, so only choose if you're looking for a place just to sleep. Other than that, they also have a common area where you can sit. You might also need to pay extra for luggage storage and towel.

AAlvinMAAI stayed at Generator Berlin Alexanderplatz and overall had a pretty good experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the heating in the room was excellent — the space felt warm and very comfortable throughout my stay. The hostel’s common areas and facilities were also quite nice.
The only downside was the cleanliness inside my dorm room. Some roommates didn’t maintain good hygiene: they sometimes ate food inside the room, talked loudly on the phone late at night, and even left the bathroom unflushed. I also ended up throwing away plastic bottles left behind by others.
This wasn’t the hostel’s fault, but more about the behavior of certain guests. Aside from that, the hostel itself is great, and I would consider staying again — hopefully with more considerate roommates next time.

Good bathroom facilities, even with a bath available.
The bedding was clean, but you have to make your own bed and bring the bedding to checkout to receive the deposit.
Very good central location, but my 2 nights were quiet, so it was a lovely stay.
The kitchen is quite well equipped with a microwave, hobs, pans, and fridges, but is open only 8:00-22:00.
A great experience overall, felt safe.

JJerryting07Good hostel , room are spacious and the bed is comfortable. Location wise it near to public transportation. The receptionist are very welcoming and helpful toward all the guess so i would highly recommend this place and will definitely come back here again.

BBernd54Die Rezeption wird von freundlichen älteren Damen betreut, die sehr um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht sind. Im Zimmer ist alles da: schön drapierte Handtücher auf dem Bett, Duschgel, Flüssigseife für die Handwäsche im Bad.
Das Frühstück war besser als ich dachte: frische Brötchen, Käse, S*****en, Wurst, Ei, Kuchen, usw. Nur der Beuteltee war schon etwas alt. Aber sonst alles OK, sogar Tisch-Abfallbehälter waren vorhanden.
Das Hotel hat aber schon einige Jahre auf dem Buckel und die Möbel sind etwas abgetragen, das Bett knarrte stark und die Dusche war nicht ganz sauber. Ich war in der obersten Etage untergebracht. Dort roch es etwas nach kaltem Zigarettenrauch, obwohl es ein Nichtraucher Hotel ist. Das war den Rezeptionistinnen aber auch sehr unangenehm. Einen öffentlichen Parkplatz für das Auto zu finden, war ein Alptraum, so dass ich das Angebot für einen Stellplatz hinterm Hotel angenommen habe. Dort war es gut aufgehoben.

PPengguna TetamuGood value for money. Great location with quick links to the city centre by public transport. The single bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean with a shower and good water pressure. You won't find soap in the bathroom, but they give you shampoo and even a tooth brush. No tooth paste though. The person at the check-in desk insisted on the city tax being paid in cash although there were Visa, Mastercard and Amex signs everywhere. The city tax charged was higher than stated in the booking confirmation and I was provided with a hand written receipt of a lower amount than actually paid. This detail makes me wonder whether the property owners pay their duties in a correct manner.
