Great accomdation if you are on budget and want to save money. The location is right next to vintage shops and couple of bars, minutes walk to CBD and MT Eden. At night the hostel street is full of JUNKIES! Wouldn’t stay again.

Very busy and vibrant hostel with a bar attached. The bed was comfy but the room was lacking furniture - there was a chair but no proper table. Shared washrooms were well kept by everyone. A little distance from the main shopping area but near to sky tower (where you can get a chartered bus from the airport).
Don't bother to do pre check-in online - they asked for a card for deposit / incidentals, and the card got charged for the rooms even though I have paid trip.com. Although the staff was prompt to do refunds, but lost like $20 on unnecessary fx rates and credit card fees. You will need to give your details onsite anyways, so save the time on something else.
It would be better if the staff were more welcoming, but I guess it is tough with so many guests to handle every minute.

An excellent hostel located in a strategic location. Parking available for additional cost and they do have everything available for a backpacker. Good for long stay as well. Near and clean washrooms, dining area, you have everything you need.

A lovely backpackers lodge in a good location where you can walk to shops and to the harbour side. Staff were friendly and gave you a tour to show you amenities. Rooms were spacious to lay out bags which was helpful and communal areas were very large.

It was just after Cyclone Gabriella so the place were short staffed. Good customer service overall, although I had to wait for hours to get into the room.
For $180/night, I do think it is not as good as to be expected. No shampoo or soap bar, no milk et, small room, etc.
Overall, I think the place is very average.

優點是偏一點，沒那麼擠，房間，廚房，周邊空間更寬裕些。

The location is perfect, located in the heart of the city centre, 1 mins walk to the nearest countdown/woolworth. You can find anything you need in the area, you name it, you will find it.
It is best for traveller first leg in New Zealand. There is a big common area, You get to meet a lot of backpackers which you can exchange information.
Highly recommended.
The only short is that the water in the shower is too low, it is like spraying water on you.

I stayed one night in Hobson Lodge in a female room. As soon as I arrived in the area I wasn't feeling very comfortable however the lady at the reception was very nice and generally the people at the hostel seemed quite chill. The kitchen/common area isn't the biggest or cleanest. The room are okish as long as it is not full otherwise I understand why reviews were mentioning about the lack of air.

PPengguna TetamuWe had prepaid our accomodation through Trip.com and when my husband went to check us in, he had to pay again for our accomodation because apparently we hadn't paid. I was not there and despite email verifications showing we had paid, they said no payment had showed and he will have to pay the accomodation and they'll refund the money when payment is showing. After our first night, I followed up our refund in the morning but still no show. They said that they'll get back to us by 4pm but they didn't. Same thing again the next day, I had to follow up the refund. Finally at the end of our stay, we managed to get the refund. The room and facilities were good, however when we arrived the shower gel and hand soap were a quarter full and once these had finished, there was no refill. Other than that it was an okay stay.

PPengguna TetamuI am very thankful got to stay at Airport Kiwi Motel as I left my bag on the yellow bus and reception gentleman helped me to track it back for me wothout missing anything. The room is spacious and cups and bowls with other kitchen items are very helpful and clean. just that i heard neighour room's noise like kids talking and adult snooring :D I will book again if i need to change flights in short days.

Ample parking for extra cars.
Clean and well equipped.
The manager happily gave us extra towels for the extra adults staying.

I recently visited the accommodation in Auckland, and while it was an okay experience, it didn’t quite stand out.
The ambiance was pleasant, and the staff were friendly, but the service felt a bit slow at times. The menu had a decent variety, and the food was solid, though not particularly memorable. It felt like something was missing to make it truly exceptional.
Overall, it’s a decent spot for a casual visit, but if you’re looking for something unique or extraordinary, there might be better options around. It’s fine for what it is, but it didn’t leave a lasting impression.

PPengguna TetamuI returned to the motel because my first stay was so pleasant and hosts are just very warm and welcoming.My family circumstances are challenging and the hosts are very understanding and helpful. The motel is as expected for about a three-star but is lovely and clean. It is great to have the pool for a dip as well

GGorgeousI needed a hotel room with 2 rooms in it for 6 people.
Somehow the booking booked in 2 hotel rooms with 2 rooms in each and therefore could sleep 12 people.
I think it is a description thing - communication went wrong
I did ask but the receptionist could not give me a refund .. we end up using both hotel rooms any way.
This is not a complaint.
This is only to raise your awareness to the description of 2 rooms - means 2 rooms in the one hotel accomondation vs 2 hotel accomondation
The location is amazingly close to the airport.
If you could start replacing the mattress it would make a difference.
Nothing minor cosmetic changes will make the place come up a million dollars.

Due to miscommunication between trip.com and Regal Residency, which caused us some inconveniences,, the manager offered us to pick one of 2 rooms of our choice (which we never asked for it) and an extra fan for our comfort (weather was hot, again we never asked for the fan). I would say the service was great. The room was spacious and clean. The shower was a breeze as the water pressure was strong and with a good supply of hot water (not inconsistent where you got cold water in between). It would be better if air conditioning was provided. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.
