This is definitely the best hotel with top service in Auckland. We were on a group tour and stayed in several hotels all over the country, Horizon stood out as the most accommodating, comfortable, and friendly. It's just a few minutes walk from Weta, the neighborhood is clean, modern and convenient, surrounded by convenient stores and restaurants. I carelessly left my spare phone in a hotel in Wellington, and I am super grateful that the Concierge at Horizon went out of their way to help get it back... (it was a slightly complicated situation as I left New Zealand before the phone reached Horizon).

Check in took a bit longer than a 5 stars hotel should be. I arrived at 1pm after an overnight flight and need a rest. Room wasn’t ready so okay I can wait. Until 3pm it was still not ready… only get into the room around 4pm at last. First impression ruined.

選擇五星級酒店就是需要環境配套 服務配套 這次住了奧克蘭的柏悦 終於體會到小島國的小肚雞腸服務 驚訝到這種服務叫五星級酒店的麼？ 首先入住很好 碰巧遇到我們華人前台 王先生 態度和服務絕對一流 讓你覺得回家了的氛圍 不怕麻煩 呆我參觀了房型 換房 但酒店也僱傭了其他亞裔 比如馬來西亞🇲🇾人 據説還是我們中國🇨🇳的領導在酒店 退房時提前一天個酒店人員溝通了 是否可以安排延遲退房 因為五星級都會有這個優享服務給客人 都很寬鬆 衹是你需要提前打好招呼告知 在房間充足的前提下 都不會有問題 而柏悦跟我溝通的一位女士 也承諾了給我2pm退房 第二天因為我有事在外面 但是也不想多佔用人家酒店房間 就告之攜程的酒店客服 跟酒店聯繫 可以直接把我行李拉下來 我回去直接chk out就可以了 然而等我回酒店告知我要多收我半天費用 因為我2pm沒有回來 是4pm回來的 且他們沒有權利拿客人行李 所有這些個説辭 來自於馬來西亞🇲🇾前台的所謂領導 直接刷了我的認知 全世界五星級酒店住了那麼多 第一次碰到五星級酒店行為是三星級處理方案的酒店 好 老孃也不幹了 反正最後是贏了 寫這麼多就是想要給大家提醒 出門在外 別被不友好的亞裔欺負 首先2pm到點要charge我 可以 你要電話告知我 在沒有告知我前提下 且我讓攜程聯繫他們 告知可以chk out 是他們各種bb不去搬行李 然後讓我出半天費用 noway 所以春在外遇事別慌 需要爭取的 別怕 別讓亞裔欺負我們～

Honestly, overall I enjoyed the stay at the Copthrone Hotel in Auckland. The location was good and the staff were friendly. The bar was good (although like anything in Auckland everything was over priced) and the pasta I had one night was really good. Unfortunately the hotel needed a face lift. The paint on the walls were chipped, the carpet needed replacing and the doors wouldn't close properly. The bathrooms were untidy and very small. It was also a very noisy hotel. They Melenium Group need to spend some money on this facility because it could be a great hotel. 3 stars.

OK, it's a great hotel, excellent rooms, supplies, service, nothing wrong there. I only have two complaints, and it starts with their breakfast lounge Advieh. Excellent food, indeed beautiful, but it does not require loud music. People are there for breakfast, not for loud music, which is obviously only for the staff, not for customers. Make it more welcoming please. And the other problem is the access if you're driving. There is valet parking, but the area is very inconspicuous and it will be invariably occupied by taxis, often in two or three rows. The unadvised driver will not be able to stop, or drive in, unless you want to stop all traffic behind you as you wait for the taxis to move out. So do not try to turn left and drive around again, as traffic directions will take you all over the North Island before you make it back to the hotel. Just carry on on the same street for another block and you will drive around this massive car park, overnight cheaper than the hotel valet ($40, as opposed to $80 at the hotel) and you can comfortably walk to the hotel directly through a covered pedestrian walkway above the street. But if you do want to use the valet service at the hotel front, do stop by the taxis, honk like crazy and they will slowly move away to allow your car through - remember, that is your spot, not theirs. But I honestly advise anyone to use Uber to get to this hotel, and not drive in.

Great location that is near to cbd. Have tried two restaurants near the hotel and that’s great. Easy for some nights when lazy. Room is good with kitchen, laundry and sitting room area. A nice chocolate welcome gift. Sweet. 10-15mins walk to pier that open a new world to different islands like Waiheke or Tira Tira. Love and enjoy the start.

This hotel was recommended by my friend who used to work here. I requested a high floor and it was granted so the room’s view of the harbor is 🤩 (12th floor Social King Room). It’s the first time that a radio was turned on as I entered the room. I even thought my next room neighbor’s music was that loud. I didn’t expect it that you can slide the door from the toilet so you can have a full view of the harbour. I liked the room very much. Thankful that I was allowed to check in early. Appreciate it a lot! I intentionally left my puffy jacket and left a note about it. Whoever owns it now, please take care of it. I’ll be back when I go back to Auckland. Strategically located in the middle of Auckland CDB. We can easily walked around the main attractions.including Auckland Tower, the wharf, Queen St. Love the room view too which face the tower directly. Cleanliness perspective however was really disappointing.. The room was really dusty, not for the hidden corner like under the sofa/bed/top of cabinet, but obvious area like the sofa, basin, etc.

PPengguna TetamuI was disappointed in my stay at this hotel. While it’s location is convenient to many things it’s nearly impossible to find parking nearby. There is a small amount of parking in the basement but not enough for even a small fraction of total guests. Finding street parking in this area is a nightmare especially while local schools are in session. Our room was small but otherwise okay. Sadly the shower in our bathroom was very difficult to use without flooding the entire place. Some glass partitions or better fitting shower curtains were definitively needed. Our stay was also disrupted by ongoing construction noise from an adjacent building site. Not the hotel’s fault but annoying nonetheless. This facility clearly has a marketing deal with nearby Goodside. Goodside was hyped as ”an exquisite collection of Auckland’s finest boutique food and beverage restaurants - one of Auckland’s more delectable dining destinations.” So based on the hotel’s recommendation we braved the rain and went to check it out. It was neither delectable or even open in most cases. The best thing on offer was a Subway franchise. Some of the restaurants may have been open during the day but the place was dead in the evening. We were literally the only potential customers in the place. I don’t expect Goodside will survive much longer and I certainly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I also think it’s bad form that Quest endorsed it so favorably.

PPengguna TetamuLocation The Quest is located in the north shore suburb of Albany. We only chose it because we have relatives living in Long Bay, whom we had come to visit. However, if you’re coming as a tourist to see the sights of Auckland, then this may not be the ideal place to be. To get to the city, for example, we would take an Uber to Devonport, and from there, it’s a short (approx. 20 mins) ferry ride into the city, but all up, for Uber and ferry fares it could cost between $NZ40-50 and take an hour and a half depending on traffic and the waiting time for the ferry. There might be a bus option but we didn’t investigate that. When it came time to leave Auckland, the cost of an Uber to the airport, leaving Quest at 1.30pm on a weekday, was $NZ85. The receptionist told us that despite the out of the way location, the Quest is popular with business travellers and that did make sense, because the Westfield shopping centre is nearby, and there’s a virtual satellite suburb surrounding the Westfield, with dozens of other businesses, shops, cafes and restaurants. The other reason, I guess people would stay here, is if, like us, they are visiting relatives who live in one of the outer north shore suburbs like Torbay, Long Bay, Browns Bay etc, but if I came here purely as a tourist, I would choose to be in the city. Despite its small size, the traffic in Auckland could be pretty horrendous at times, which just adds to your taxi or Uber costs. There isn’t much in the near vicinity of the hotel, apart from a few little shops and restaurants. But the aforementioned Westfield can be easily reached by Uber, or even on foot, although it isn’t a particularly pleasant walk, alongside the highway and it takes about 20-25 minutes. Most of the time, when visiting Westfield, we choose to Uber there and back, and that generally costs a modest $NZ8 or $9 each way. Apartment A comfy little lounge-room was the main feature of the apartment, with a wooden dining table with steel legs, four solid wooden chairs also with steel legs, a small desk and chair with a strong desk light and enough power points to charge all your appliances. There were two comfy lounge chairs in rather dark, sombre colours of olive green and brown, and far too many cushions for such a small space, so they continuously had to be rotated around to make room to sit. The smart TV had local channels as well as YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime, pretty much everything you would need from a TV, including a fancy remote with a laser pointer. There was a little coffee table and the whole place was carpeted except for the bathroom and kitchenette, which was just as well, because despite it being mid summer, we found Auckland a cold place and on some days, temps got as low as 18 degrees, complete with wind and rain. Fortunately, the reverse cycle air con worked well, so we had it on heat at 27 degrees most of the time and that at least helped to keep the place warm. I don’t think that we ever used the cooling cycle.

IIefataVery happy with the location being right outside Spark arena and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately there was noise coming from the room below us. We called reception about this but the noise continued throughout the night. The cleanliness could've been better as there was hair on the bathroom walls. Also wish we had chromecast as an option. Overall this is ideal for anyone that is looking for an affordable venue close to Spark arena. Beds were comfy and the room has more amenities than most places I've stayed at.

PPengguna Tetamu在前台的工作人員非常熱情友好，而且回答了我們有的任何疑問。雙卧室套房位於22樓。對套房的清潔非常失望。淋浴底座和浴室櫃周圍充滿了霉。地毯上的污漬，牆壁和門上的污漬污垢，剝落的油漆，洗衣機中橡膠上的霉。淋浴在打開開關后聞起來像腐敗物。茶罐里沒有普通的茶。我們在門上留下了一個標籤，以獲得客房服務，但當我們回來的時候，床已經收拾過了，但沒有桌子被擦拭過等等。我們不會再住在這兒。

BBks87Location is fantastic with city view from the upper levels. But the cleanliness was poor as the sheets heads woman hair and the sheets didn’t look clean. The washing machine was broken and water leaked almost causing the unit flooded with water. If regular checks and maintenance is done, it can earn higher ratings

PPengguna TetamuWe began and ended our stay in New Zealand here. My sister and I had stayed here on our last trip to NZ and had been so comfortable we wanted to do so again. When we arrived in Auckland we were given a nice 2 bedroom suite overlooking the park. I think it must have been a handicapped suite as the bathroom was a wet room, which was a little odd, but we got used to it, otherwise very nice. When we checked in again at the end of our trip, a few days before flying home, we were surprised and delighted to find that we had been upgraded to a 3 bedroom, 2 bath penthouse suite. It was huge, with a great view of downtown Auckland and the Skytower. The rooms are very clean and spacious, the beds comfortable, and the little cafe downstairs quite convenient. Buses for Inner Link stop right outside, and it's about a 15 minute walk downtown. New World supermarket is about 5 minutes away. Tip: if walking downtown, go via Halsey Street down to the harbour, you will avoid the hills.

PPengguna TetamuThe main advantage is the location, just off the main shopping area of Queen Street, less than 10 minutes walk to the Viaduct and Britomart areas. Supermarkets less than five minutes walk, SkyCity just up the road, etc. The building itself is nothing flash with a small reception area and two small lifts. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment on the 7th floor and the apartment was quite comfortable and had plenty of space to relax. The WiFi worked well. The small kitchen had the basics we needed to have breakfast and prepare a light meal and snacks. One bathroom was an en suite off the main bedroom whilst the other bathroom was larger and contained the washing machine and dryer. Unfortunately we suffered from the construction noise in the street outside which of course is nothing to do with the hotel, but meant we had to sleep with the air conditioning on rather than have a window or sliding door open. There was less noise on the weekend but there was still some construction taking place.

WWong Wai ManA fantastic experience of our 7-nights staying in Royal Residency! The apartment is conveniently located in a local suburb, closed to almost all big names supermarkets especially with a few Asian Grocery nearby. Commute to CBD or hot spots via driving is easy! The apartment is quite new and is properly housekeeped and managed. Tanishq was very responsive to all our requests, really appreciated! Just one last point… the oven should have been checked prior to our arrival. We will definitely stay again if we ever have a chance coming back to New Zealand!
