"Room is big, furnishing modern though can tell the hotel infrastructure is old. We managed to catch the afternoon tour with Xiao Rui at 130pm, and we happened to be her only tour group. She is knowledgeable and did a good job talking non-stop for 4hrs. A 5-star rated guide!"

"We had a perfect stay at the Tuke Light hotel. The hotel was conveniently close to the railway station, as well as to several bus stops, which we could use to get around town. The room was comfy, clean, modern, and everything worked just as expected. We used the complimentary laundry facility, and also there everything was new and clean. The hotel staff was the perfect addition to this already good hotel: they were kind, helpful, and went out of their way to help us have a pleasant stay and enjoy as much time as we could in Chengde. Really recommended!!"

"Hotel is modern and location is in the centre of Chengde. Close to all amenities and the daily night market is just a short 2 minutes walk. There is a great supermarket next door as well. Room is spacious, clean and with voice enabled room controls. Front desk is very helpful and even help us find an English/Chinese speaking tour guide. Strongly recommended to stay here."

"Stayed over for one night at the Hilton Garden Inn hotel at Chengde. The entrance to the hotel was congested with cars. The parking attendance in front of the hotel wasn't really helpful when my driver dropped us off to check in to the hotel. What he cares was just faster unload and removed the car form that area. He offered no help at all. I was not sure if the parking attendance was employed by the Hilton hotel. If yes then the service was really not up par with the Hilton standard for customer service standard. We carried one large luggages and few smaller bags. We have to carry it over few flights of stairs to get in to the hotel entrance. The sliding path to get into the hotel entrance was not located in front of the hotel entrance but was hidden at the side that was obscured or partially blocked by the parking car at the front. The reception lady was very friendly though. We were given high floor and she scanned my WeChat to easy contact with the hotel later. The hotel room was very spacious and beautiful but the room was stuffy. Only one tiny small window was able to open a little bit to let the outside air go in. The afternoon temperature was as high as 25 degrees Celcius and rather HOT inside the room. We cannot adjust the aircon in the room as it is central setting! Called to the reception to ask why the room air con can't be adjusted and it seems not working but was told it is central setting. Well, you paid a lots to stay at the hotel without proper ventilation but to rely on the outside air to go in the tiny window. Despite the hotel facility was complete but we still cannot really enjoy and sleep comfortably as we felt HOT. The hotel separates the bathroom from toilet. The washing basin was outside of the bathroom. The breakfast was good with lots of variety. After checking out, I realised I might have left my traveller adaptor in the room. Immediately Isent a text to the hotel via WeChat but to my disappointment, it took two days for them to reply my message asking me to self contact the front desk counter to ask yourself?! What kind of service of that??? Asking hotel guest to add them on WeChat but still asking us to self call the front desk? Not all tourists will have local Sim card to make phone call. That is really a disappointment. They should have offered a better service by checking with the front desk counter and then get back to us via WeChat. This Hilton is definitely still a long way to go to achieve better rating. The hotel is closed to q night market that offers lots of street foods. There was one food stall that offer very palatable Chu Cheong fun. The experience was not pleasant for my one night stay."

"The room we were given was amazing, it had a great view, the beds were comfy, and had a nice spot to sit and eat breakfast each day. Speaking of, getting deliveries from ******* straight to our room was also really easy.  They also had really great service. When we first arrived we found the bedroom floor to be a little sticky, so we asked if they wouldn’t mind mopping it. That was done immediately, and we enjoyed the rest of our stay :) everything else was super clea"

"兩大兩小，預訂了家庭房，地台+床墊的設定非常適合小朋友，不怕孩子掉下去。感謝前台孟經理和幾位經理，在需要調換房間的時候能夠及時主動地提供幫助，客房服務也是隨叫隨到。早餐對於四星酒店來説也是比較豐富的，每日菜品都有更換，味道不錯。酒店地理位置也不錯，離避各個景點的距離都挺近，打個車很方便。 唯一的問題是入住二樓的時候，趕上週末會場舉辦活動，聲音大，人員雜，還有在走廊抽煙的，介意的人還是儘量選別的樓層。 旁邊汗蒸洗浴有泳池，裏面有小童嬉水區，一次18小時可以隨時進出，還是比較方便的。"

"An attractive hotel in a former imperial complex (a library or something like that) offering large, clean rooms. It's up on the side of a hill but taxis/rideshare will take you to the front door. Also it's very close to the town center and is a short ride to the temples that are of interest in Chengde. They have a decent breakfast at the onsite restaurant, and a dinner service featuring local dishes that are supposed to be similar to what an emperor might have eaten. So you can dine like an emperor, for a fee. The large deer roaming the grounds stare at your with the big, sad eyes, obviously looking for a handout, but don't fall for it as there's plenty of grass. There was some construction going on, seems the buildings are being refurbished, but it did not really interfere with our stay. Signs in English and English-speaking staff at the front desk."

"Typical three star hotel. Staff have a good attitude, especially the floor managers and are willing to accommodate guests. Still, the hotel is a bit overpriced for its class , possibly because of the hot springs available to hotel guests. Hotel is close to the garden but it sits right on the tran track and the train whistle will surely wake you up at 4:30am. Some of the front desk staff are very young and apparently still in training (the receptionist took me to the room but let me carry my luggage). Breakfast is traditional , quite good."

"首先，酒店位置不錯，離承德最主要的景點都很近，打車或者步行即可前往，周邊吃飯的地方特別多，眾多老字號。 其次，我們住的家庭房，隔音效果還可以，睡的還可以，房間不是很大，不過在這麼旺季的情況下，能住到400多一晚上的家庭飯，性價比高，再説人家還送了早餐券，早餐希望能再豐富些。從我們的房間就可以看到棒槌山了，真不錯。 再次，前台美女小姐姐的服務最好，給我們申請到了晚退房到了14點，而且有問必答，特別熱情。年長的大姐就相對差一些，哈哈哈，可能是管理人員或者股東吧，不太情願讓我們延遲退房。服務才是王道，服務是第一位的，服務比價格更重要！不過，我還是打服務滿分，為了前台美女小姐姐，哈哈哈。 最後，酒店沒有電話，有些叫水服務不好處理，畢竟民宿嘛，可以理解，就是廁所有點窄了，這個希望以後能改善下。 總之，我還是給酒店打出了滿分，希望雲舍酒店可以越辦越好，生意越來越紅火！"
