The owner was incredibly friendly and hospitable as soon as I entered his premises. He went above and beyond and treated me like family. I had a migraine attack on the first day and it disrupted my plans. He took me to the local pharmacy in his car and looked after me. He’s very helpful and was attentive to my needs. The Great Wall is only 5 minutes away in the car and he arranges the taxi driver to take you and it’s a cheap price. The room was very good. I booked the two bed room as I like when the shower floor is separate to the toilet floor and has its own door too. Definitely book the place if you want to visit this section of the wall. There were very few people on the wall the two times I went in the morning and afternoon. He has a restaurant place in the main building with some food options. You’ll have a great time!

I cannot recommend this farmhouse enough! If you are visiting the Jinshanling Great Wall, staying here is an absolute must. The location is perfect, featuring a beautiful rooftop terrace where you can sit and look directly at the Great Wall in total peace. The room itself was modern, and clean, with a great AC, but set right in the middle of a charming, authentic farm. But the absolute highlight of my stay was the host family. The hospitality is unmatched. The Owner Lady of the house cooked some of the most delicious, massive, and authentic meals I’ve had in China, and she went completely out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and well-fed. The food was also unbelievably affordable. The Owner truly went above and beyond for me. When I was struggling to find a reasonably priced car back to Beijing, he spent hours late at night helping me on WeChat, making sure I wasn't overcharged by local drivers. He eventually helped me find a cheap, highly scenic train route back to the city and personally drove me to the local station. They treated a solo foreign traveler like absolute family. If you want a genuine, heartwarming, and frictionless experience at the Great Wall, book this place. 太好吃了 and 谢谢 to the amazing hosts!”

What can I say other than WOW, great farmhouse in a beautiful quiet setting over looking the Great Wall. Rooms were very modern, spotlessly clean with hairdryer and toiletries massive windows to look at the incredible view. The food we had was delicious good price 86 yuan including 2 big beers. We also used there taxi to get to the water town and back to the train station. They sell snacks and water at a very good price also. Book this you will and have the wall to Yourself more or less and some home cooked food and a lovely sleep Thank you wanping farmhouse.

比較滿意的一次入住！一期7號樓位置特別好。離車庫出入口近，離辦理民宿入住處也很近。房間大小合適。房間裏的浴巾、毛巾、床單很新也很乾凈。洗護用品質量不錯，尤其牙刷特別好用。衞生間的衞生做的也比較滿意。整個房間沒有異味。房間有淋浴拖鞋，洗潔精，洗衣液，雨傘，驅蚊液等物品。wife密碼就在房卡上。廁所紙巾和客廳抽紙都有的。浴巾毛巾各四條很夠用。備有四個飲水杯和漱口杯。冰箱和洗衣機可以用。還準備了晾衣架。廚房裡衹有燒水壺可以用，沒有微波爐。灶台不可用。管家服務很好。入住管家會提前聯繫告知注意事項和交通指引。不滿意就是阿那亞下午3點入住上午11點退房這個事。其實是霸王條款，一般酒店應該下午2點入住12點退房！但是我們幾乎沒等多久下午1點半拿到了房卡。民宿都是不含早餐的，辦完入住會有阿那亞身份碼。憑這個碼可以在第一食堂和山食堂用餐。這兩個餐廳是整個園區價格最便宜的餐廳。其他餐廳價格偏貴。一期民宿離第一食堂特別近。走路幾分鐘就到了。入住期間報警器響了一次還挺嚇人的。我們外出了大概2小時。期間空調全關閉。窗户打開了，可能是霧氣引發了報警。霧靈山阿那亞值得體驗。一期民宿很便利。

Everyone was very lovely, if you’re looking for a family vibe where you’re being taken care of, this is exactly the place to go. The lady will be ready to help you as much as she can and provide you with a driver to take you to Jinshanling or in my case, Miyun station because Gubeikou was closed. Jinshanling is very nearby and this is a very affordable location. The surrounding people always had a smile and were very welcoming to foreigners. :)

Host was super friendly and very hospitable. Started off by waiting for us outside the homestay awaiting our arrival @ 12 am at night. Drove us to and from Jinshanling. Also drove us out to beijing for another hour. Very knowledgeable and shared with us the history of the Great Wall too. Would definitely come back here on my next visit. Thank you! 😁

The Hotel is located at a busy central road. Lots of shops around and a good popular grocery store. The staff is welcoming and helpful as it can be. 5 stars. The room is small but okay. The bed is comfortable like most chinese beds. The bathroom is super tiny and had some plumbing problems also the grey water from the shower runs across the floor to the sink, bear in bind when you put dowm a towel for your feet. The light in all rooms is very dark and everything in the room was laying under a urine smell caused by the aircon. That's the reason we would not stay here again. The breakfast is great but the room is too small to fit all guests, so it gets super busy. Plus point: you can tale your bicycle to the rooms.

We stayed one night at Jinshanling Hanting B&B, and the location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from the Great Wall. It’s the perfect spot to catch both sunrise and sunset; the wall opened at 5 a.m. when we visited in early November. Breakfast was included, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We’d definitely recommend staying overnight for the better light and calmer atmosphere instead of doing a day trip. There’s also a great café nearby. To find the place: walk to the entrance gate, turn right, and it’s on the right side after about 30–50 meters.

Facilities are sufficient for our type of travel; that are trekking and Great Wall viewing. Location is excellent with easy access to different parts of the of the Great Wall. Breakfast and dinner were at the stay and the simple local cuisine of good food suited our taste buds .. Topping all is the extra mile service by the owner 崔老版 and his family. We had a beautiful and memorable time here

Pros: Cheap, Good location, decent & clean bedding, if still quite hard, decent WiFi, fun evening vibes Cons: No shower curtains (water floods bathroom), no towels, no shower head (just one straight line of water), very loud music & talking until 4am, loud crying for over an hour from 8am (all by non-guests). Made sleep rather difficult, but might have been an isolated experience. Also: moldy walls.
