I had a pleasant stay at Chengde Atour. The hotel is in a very strategic location—just a short walking distance to 避暑山庄 (Mountain Resort) and several nearby attractions, which made sightseeing extremely convenient. The surroundings are also very convenient, with a supermarket and several eateries located right next to the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the practical amenities provided. The availability of a washer and dryer was especially useful for travellers. Overall, a well-located and comfortable hotel with excellent convenience for both leisure and family travellers. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Chengde.

I don't normally bother to write reviews, but this place is truly deserving of one. Our stay at Anaya was amazing to say the least. The place was so beautiful and serene, rivaling many of the luxury ryokans in Japan but with their own modern twist. We stayed in the queen room, and it’s fairly simple but more than adequate and comfortable. The in-room drinks and snacks were delicious, and they provided an additional special treat each day, which was an experience on its own. There wasn't a television, but we never felt that there was a need for one. It was a place where you can truly focus on unwinding and take things slow, but when needed, the Wi-Fi speed is sufficient for streaming on your own devices. The hotel is unique where you can just do everything within their compounds without needing to travel anywhere else. We really loved the Japanese bookstore, which is a must-visit, and spend some time admiring the garden next to it. They provide activities as well, so you will never feel like there is nothing to do. The spas are also highly recommended, which in fact warrants a trip all on its own even if you do not stay at the hotel. One of the spas is a re-purposed factory, and it's a truly unique experience which will appeal to architecture enthusiasts. Food was a little pricey, but you have a lot of options, and the ones we had were great. They even had their own provision shop for you to stock up on snacks and drinks. One of the main factors that truly elevated our experience was the exceptional service from Zhi Hui. She went above and beyond to share her personal contact in order to make sure we were well taken care of, answering our questions promptly and making arrangements for us. She even followed up with us after our departure to make sure we arrived at our next destination safely. The other staff around the hotel, including the restaurants, were also very friendly and helpful. There was even a sweet young lady selling what they harvested from the mountains as well as small snack stores, one of which was operated by a very friendly lady selling Japanese-style desserts. Our interactions with the people all felt really genuine and sincere. The experience wouldn't have been so wonderful if it weren't for our very pleasant experience with the people working in and around the hotel. They normally use a multi-seater buggy to ferry guests around, but when we were caught in the rain, they actually arranged a car to pick us up instead. Anaya Lanya Hotel is simply extraordinary, and we cannot recommend it enough.

Brilliant location for visiting the Chengde Mountain Resort. The hotel is located just on the other side of the wall of the park and is at a quiet corner 200m from the entrance. Very convenient for an early start to avoid the crowds. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff at hotel. Room is good size and spotlessly clean. Many good local eateries within a short walking distance for excellent food at very reasonable prices

The hotel is quiet now and the room is very spacious and clean. The location is perfect (right in the city centre). The restaurant is super nice and price is reasonable. Most importantly, very one of the hotel staff we encountered are very friendly and helpful. A quality hotel indeed.

御道口草原森林風景區的酒店，地理位置優越，酒店兩個電梯，無需等電梯。各處佈置都不錯，特別是餐廳，很有特點，早餐豐盛。停車場很大，停車方便。房間設施齊全，浴室水壓大，洗澡很舒服。最主要是無論前台，餐廳還是客房的服務員都非常熱情，有禮貌，帶給你非常舒心的入住體驗。感覺是這個地段最好的酒店了。

This “Songshu Inn” (“Squirrel Hotel” on the actual sign) is next to the entrance to the “seven-colored forest” - a surprisingly fun and family-friendly place to visit in the summer, well, at least for families who do not come from the actual prairie. Mostly domestic travelers but that should be a taken at such a lesser-known location internationally. Still, we ended up staying an extra day to visit nearby theme parks. As someone who had spent more than a year in business/resort hotels all over the world, all I want to say that the hospitality of the hotel staff truly exceeded my expectations.

A great hotel for families - quiet and peaceful. The suite was very large with 2 separate rooms and a nice balcony. The ”panda theme” was a big hit with my kids. They loved it. There were free water bottles, coffee and tea in the room. The overall cleanliness was excellent - a very clean bathroom and shower, sparkling white linens and towels. The only negative in regards to cleaning was the floor - it was mopped but visibly not clean. My kids' feet were black after walking on the floor for just half an hour. That could be an improvement. The beds are pretty hard - good for those who enjoy it. The staff service was great. We overslept breakfast time and the front desk called the restaurant and asked them to wait for us so we could eat. The location is also very convenient with free car parking. We would definitely stay again.

這次入住體驗超出預期，酒店選址絕佳，坐落在草原與羣山之間，自然風光得天獨厚，隨手一拍都是治癒大片。地理位置優越，緊鄰景區，省去趕路的麻煩。必須誇讚前台和全體服務人員，態度温和熱情，有需求響應及時，細節處盡顯用心。餐飲水準在線，當地特色菜品做得十分地道，好吃不踩雷。房間乾淨整潔，住起來安逸又舒服，在山水草原間度過了超愜意的假期，下次來還會選擇這裏！

Lokasi hotel ini sangat baik jika anda ingin melakukan matahari terbit awal pagi di tembok Besar Jingshanlin. Hotel ini terletak betul-betul di kaki pintu masuk tembok besar! Dari masa kami mendaftar masuk untuk mendaftar keluar, kepada kakitangan di restoran, mereka semua memberikan perkhidmatan yang sangat baik, dengan senyuman yang baik, keramahan dan bersedia membantu jika anda mempunyai sebarang pertanyaan. Mereka sangat akomodatif untuk keperluan kami juga kerana kami mempunyai beberapa daripada kami yang vegetarian. Sarapan yang disediakan pada waktu pagi sangat baik dan sangat menyegarkan. Sihat juga. Jika anda mahukan lebih banyak perkara yang anda suka, mereka akan mengeluarkannya semula. Kami makan di restoran pada waktu malam juga, dan makanannya sedap. Bilik ini mempunyai semua kemudahan yang anda perlukan. Sayang sekali spa tidak dibuka semasa kami berada di sana (kerana penyelenggaraan).
