I had the most wonderful stay here. Firstly, the homestay itself is so clean and pretty. My room was exactly as it was in the pictures. I had a bathtub by the window with a seaview and a large room all to myself. The warm lighting made the ambience even more spectacular. I absolutely loved the New Chinese Style Interior Design. It is one of my favourite interiors, and it was such a dream to stay here. The complimentary Chinese tea set was refreshing. The staff here is excellent, too! I was attended by Mr. Sun, who spoke good English (which was very helpful for me as I am a foreigner with limited Mandarin). Upon my request, Mr. Sun provided me with a vegetarian breakfast and even brought it to my ropm to enjoy. It was a very substantial breakfast: millet porridge, warm milk, steamed sweet potato, corn on the cob, Broccoli, carrots, pumpkin, and a vegetable bao with fruits. There is also a complimentary bracelet-making station for homestay guests. Mr. Sun also provided me with free-flow drinking water as the weather was lovely and sunny. Location-wise, you can walk to the nearby theme park by crossing the pedestrian bridge and there are plenty of (high-end seafood restaurants) but there is also a supermarket and restaurant next door that was within my budget. The view of the bridge from my room at night was absolutely beautiful with the lights. Overall, I would really encourage anyone visiting Dalian to stay here! 😍😍 Thank you so much, Qingsong Yaju!

A truly amazing vintage gem in Dalian – Moroccan charm and wonderful service 🥰 I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Dalian. The service was incredible – the staff are so nice, welcoming, and always cheerful with a smile, especially at breakfast. That alone made me feel so comfortable. What I loved most was the style of the hotel. It’s not the usual modern look – it has an antique, vintage feel with carpets, little lamps hanging everywhere, and a beautiful style. The decorations reminded me of things I’ve seen in Morocco – truly beautiful. The food was good, the bed was super comfortable, and the vintage details in the rooms are consistent with the rest of the hotel – same lovely style throughout. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves character, warmth, and great service.

We stayed at Atour Hotel Dalian Dongguan Street (大连市政府东关街亚朵酒店) during our first trip to mainland China, and honestly, this place was one of the highlights of our whole visit. Right at check-in we were kindly upgraded to a suite, and the staff asked if we could leave a review — after staying here, that was an easy and enthusiastic yes. Where do I even start? The room was immaculately clean, super quiet, and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was impressive with strong water pressure and top-notch amenities — everything felt fresh and high quality. We had zero issues with housekeeping — everything was always perfect. The staff were some of the friendliest we’ve met in China. Their English wasn’t perfect, but they tried so hard to help with whatever we needed, always with a smile and patience. That honest effort made a big difference. Location is another major plus. This hotel is right by Dongguan Street, which means you’re walking distance to tons of restaurants, shops, and attractions. Pavilion Mall is super close too, and the airport is easy to get to — really convenient for arrivals and departures. One small thing — the subway station is a bit of a walk, but the tram stop is very close, so getting around was still easy. We didn’t try the breakfast since it wasn’t included, but honestly, everything else was so good that we really don’t even care. To all travelers — especially Korean and Western visitors who might skip Dalian thinking it’s “not worth it” or don’t see many foreigners here — do yourself a favor and stay here. This was hands-down one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had anywhere. If we come back to Dalian, we will 100% stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommended.

Excellent customer service at counter from check in to check out. All the counter staff are very friendly, helpful and give added service like water n carrier without us asking for it. Only toilet bowl has no washing facilities even its auto flash. Room n toilet is spacious. Better if can have AI voice control. Location very good with shopping malls just next door. Very comfortable stay. Will definitely come back.

My stay at IntercityHotel Dalian was delightful! 🏨 The hotel is spotlessly clean, with a comfortable room and a cozy bed that made for a great night’s sleep. 😴 The free mini bar was a fantastic perk, and the egg tarts as a welcoming gift were such a sweet touch! 🥮 The interior design is super trendy, giving the hotel a modern and stylish vibe. ✨ The gym was a bit small with limited equipment variety, but it got the job done. 🏋️♂️ The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a great spread, and the staff there were incredibly nice and welcoming, making every morning special. 😊 Everyone at the lobby greeted me with warm smiles, adding to the inviting atmosphere. We had a very pleasant stay overall. All of the staff members were warm, polite, and very helpful throughout our stay. Housekeeping was efficient and cleaned the room promptly every day, which made the experience even more comfortable. The location is also very convenient — easy to get around and very easy to call a taxi at any time. We also appreciated the laundry and dryer facilities, which were practical and convenient for travelers staying multiple days. The only small downside was that there is only one elevator, so the waiting time could sometimes be quite long during busy hours. Other than that, everything was great and we would happily stay here again.

The hotel does have some positives — the facilities feel relatively new, the gym is better equipped than many hotels in the same price range, and the bed and pillows were quite comfortable. However, the overall stay was disappointing. The sound insulation between rooms was extremely poor. Interestingly, I barely heard any noise from the nearby bar, but I could clearly hear conversations, shower sounds, and other noises coming from neighboring rooms. The check-in experience also felt unprofessional. When I asked whether there was a quieter room available because of the nearby bar, the staff said they could “upgrade” my room and spent time introducing the larger room before finally mentioning that it required an extra charge. I completely understand paid upgrades, but the way it was communicated felt more like a sales pitch than genuine hospitality. What made the experience unacceptable in the end was finding a cockroach in the bathroom. Combined with the poor soundproofing and overall service experience, this stay did not meet the standards I expected.

This is an instagrammable hotel that offers quality service. From checking in to checking out you will be assisted by the staff. There is an open beach a few steps away with 2-3 cafe shops. One of them is Caan. The buffet breakfast offers delicious western and Chinese breakfast. The rooms are nicely designed with a balcony overlooking the beach. Snacks and drinks are also offered for free including a welcome fruit plate. Toiletries are of quality and smells really good. Japanese toilet is another plus! The bed and pillows are all comfortable. They also offer activities like boat and paddle board riding. If u need help with anything including attractions to see, they have a wechat account and they respond quick. I highly recommend this place if you want a more quiet place to stay. And of course the private beach front setup is so relaxing and offers a great view both day and night!

It is good to have toilet and shower rooms separated but both with transparent glass doors, lack of privacy. Breakfast, amenities and services are good.

每次回家鄉大連，服務的態度都能撞我不輕。 酒店最大優勢在於離機場非常近。 能看到是與各大航司合作的大企業賓館，故而自費來的旅客並不推薦。 提幾個建議（如果商家不樂意看，我先道個歉） 1.房間床頭大縫，這床墊靠牆的頭部分竟然是大插座，為了避開歪扭的插座床墊與牆隔開10釐米，以至於可以清晰地看到發黃床頭靠墊下的縫隙裏，破舊的木板和插座 2.套枕頭的套子是反的。彈力乳膠枕（不確定材質）有彎曲的波浪部分是朝上的，枕套套反了。打掃人員可以培訓一下 3.萬壽無疆的茶杯裏的水漬也不算大問題，我自己洗一洗 4.早餐不好吃，性價比低 。 水果少，牛奶壺常空 5.退房時手裡拿的東西很多，想要個袋子竟然沒有。是第一個不提供袋子的酒店。 建議老闆帶員工去其他酒店度假一下，放鬆順便學習學習。 好在攜程訂的可以下午三點退房 ，表示感謝。 希望我的大連能夠越來越好
