"First time solo travelling and staying at a hostel and im so happy I chose the Circus. Super convenient location (right across from trams and subway) so getting there from the airport was the easiest thing ever! Friendly staff and nice clean rooms, beds were so big and comfortable and the shared toilets/showers were always looking and smelling clean. Chilled atmosphere and they host daily nightly activities to help you mingle with our travellers. Overall I loved this place and would 100% stay again next time I visit 😊💕"

"It’s a good location to access to Berlin Central Stations. We had 2 single rooms with acceptable pricing with the city Centre location. However, the housekeeping section required to improve as I’m unaware that they needs to pre-informed if u liked to clean your rooms with new towels and empty trash. However, I managed to get the access through front desk. Overall, I’m satisfied with their service quality as 4 stars hotel."

"Room and bathroom were clean. The hostel provides large lockers and each bed had its own socket, which was convenient. However, the sockets were located at the level of the lower bunk, so if you're on the top bunk, you might need a longer charging cable (my Apple wire was long enough though). There’s also a bus stop just a minute’s walk away. The location is quite good — about 20 to 35 minutes from most major attractions. Overall, a great stay. Highly recommend!"

"+ the staffs are friendly and swift + 6-er women only shared room has separate shower and toilet, it was kept very clean, it’s then up to the roommate to maintain or not; also in the room all very respectful and keep noises down - window was not noise-proof, later in the night outside was still very loud, ear-plug is a must-have"

"The interior design indeed fits with the description. Bathrooms are spacious. There are some stains on the wall in my cabin though. Also, it wasn't soundproofed. There are supermarkets nearby; The nearest Metro station is around 10 minutes walk. The service is nice."

"Dobry hotel w rozsądnej cenie. W okolicy bezpiecznie, niedaleko kawiarnie (najbliższa Einstein), restauracje, metro i kolejka. Dobry dla tych którzy korzystają z komunikacji miejskiej. Metro Zoo i Uhlandßttasse, autobusy, sklepy. Blisko Kurfürstendamm, głównego bulwaru handlowego w Berlinie. Obsługa miła, śniadanie i kawa bardzo ok. Wygodne łóżka, czysto. W pokoju czajnik, herbata, kawa rozpuszczalna, kosmetyki. Jest suszarka, żelazko z deską do prasowania. Jest też klimatyzacja, nawiew. Uwaga - w łazience szklane przesuwane drzwi nie tłumią hałasu. Jedyna wada - są tam pokoje od strony torów kolejki. Jednak okno jest dobrze wyciszone i zamknięte dopuszcza niewielki hałas, który nie przeszkadzał nam w nocy. Może być ciut męczący dla bardziej wrażliwych osób."

"The room had a terrible smell. It smelled of an old unwashed man. Dirty carpets, dirty towels, holes in bed linen. Overall cleanliness leaves much to be desired. I appreciate it that after my complaint nice staff gave me a different room, but that new room was smelly as well, I figured it was because of the bad air conditioning system, and I guess old untended carpets also contributed to the problem. In the new room the towels looked clean, but they smelled of fried patties. Overall, it was an awful experience, it was hard to breathe with the air conditioner on as it made the room stinky and humid. That's why I decided to refrain from using it. Luckily, the temperature outside did not exceed +30°C during my stay. This is definitely not a 4-star hotel!!! It barely deserves even 1 star."

"The carpet on the floors smells bad. When you enter the hostel above the bar, the hallway always smells like urine. Thats the first impression Generally the shared toilets are kept clean. But they went 1 full day with no liquid soap or paper towels. For breakfast they offer no eggs. The light in the room is very dim, but the rooms are spacious. Location is good For this price in other european cities you can get a good 4* hotel room. I would not recommend it. Expensive for the service you get back"

"A Mixed Stay Near Hauptbahnhof We stayed at this hotel for one night and found it to be a ok option overall, especially for its convenient location. On the positive side, it’s situated right near the Hauptbahnhof, making it an ideal base for a quick day of exploring the city via public transport. The breakfast staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly, creating a pleasant morning vibe. While the breakfast selection wasn’t extensive, it covered all the essentials:fresh bread, fruits, cereals, and hot items—to fuel you up for the day ahead. That said, there were some notable drawbacks that detracted from the experience. As soon as we stepped out of the elevator on the 5th floor, there was a strong, unpleasant plumbing odor coming from the toilet area in the hallway. Unfortunately, this issue persisted in our room (583), where the smell emanated from the bathroom. Even after leaving the window open all day, it lingered upon our return, which was quite off-putting. The hotel was fully booked, according to the receptionist, so we didn’t pursue switching rooms. Additionally, the Hocker near the tea table was heavily worn and tattered, almost as if it had been chewed by a cat for years. The mini-bar was disappointingly empty, with just a single bottle of water provided. Sauna was off at 10:30am. At €150 per night, this hotel feels overpriced for what it offers— I’d recommend exploring other nearby alternatives for better value and comfort."

"The hotel is within easy walking distance from the nearest train station. However, if it is raining, this can be tricky with suitcases. We love that the hotel is near at least two supermarkets, Aldi and Netto. The room was clean. Check in took some time but check out was super easy. We wish the person manning the check in counter can be a bit friendlier though."
