"Special thanks to Restu and the team, Putri, Jennifer, Ale, Rawa, Nike, and many more staff whose names I unfortunately cannot remember. The service throughout our stay was truly excellent. The team was friendly, attentive, and always welcoming, which made the experience a pleasant one.
A few areas the hotel could possibly look into for further improvement. The breakfast was enjoyable initially, but after a few days, it started to feel less appetising due to the repetitive selection. The western corner especially could use more variety, as it was almost the same daily with baked beans, tomatoes, and hot dogs. I believe having more options would also better cater to western guests. The pricing for the à la carte menu could also be reviewed.
As for the pool area, hopefully maintenance and landscaping can be further improved to enhance the overall ambience.
Hopefully, the hotel could also consider adding some light music around the lovely lobby area in the evenings, not only during weekends. As there is not much to do at night, having live music occasionally —( planned according to occupancy rate)— together with a simple happy hour setup by the lobby for in-house guests would create a much better atmosphere. A light BBQ snack corner with beers and relaxing music would be a perfect touch for guests who prefer to stay within the hotel and unwind at night.
Unfortunately, the SPA service and EL Lagoi experience were truly disappointing for us and did not meet expectations. Hopefully, improvements can be made in these areas as well.

"We stayed here for three days with our family and booked two Grand Deluxe rooms and one Deluxe room. The rooms were spacious, each equipped with a sofa bed, which was very convenient when traveling with kids.
The location is excellent, surrounded by Lagoi Plaza, a lake, and a beach, and it’s only about a 12-minute drive to Treasure Bay.
Breakfast was decent, and we appreciated that there was porridge suitable for babies. The only issue we encountered was the restroom sliding door, which tended to get stuck easily, but the staff were very friendly and quick to assist.
Additionally, there is a free playground and a swimming pool on the 7th floor with a beautiful view—we really loved it.
Overall, it was an awesome family getaway"

"From the moment you arrive you step into a tropical and luxurious escape! A new resort with all facilities that you need and plenty of entertainment and dining options. Rooms are cozy and comfortable. The hotel is right on the beach surrounded by lots of greenery and included a golf course.
There are two different pools either plenty of lounge chairs (including umbrella) and a swim-up bar!! You can walk or bike around the expensive property grounds! Or next to the coast.
Klon Tong cafe was one of our favourite spots. Beside the the daily chocolate hour a perfect place to try and enjoy all kind of delicious food and drinks prepared by an excellent and friendly staff. Especially, Mega, Novia, Haiqhal, and Jonathan made the stay memorable by always smiling and giving us a warm welcome."

"Saw some negative review from Google or Trip.com, but I still decided to choose for this resort because of the locations. Also, that after spoke with the driver and I know that the view of the beach of this resort is actually the best one in bintan. It’s quite expensive to eat inside the resort, especially the Indian food at night. I went to the Chinese restaurant, but we didn’t order the seafood. The waiter is very helpful and very nice and polite. We order for the medium person, but he advised us not to choose that because the portion is really big."

"I can't rave enough about the customer service at Holiday Inn. At the reception, we were warmly welcomed by Mr Sunang. He was prompt, understood our requirements and interacted with my daughter, thereby remembering her name whenever he sees her or ask me about her.
The room was spacious, we had a good view overlooking a pond and looking at the beach from a distance. It was great view for fireworks we were lucky to catch that night. We had our 3 connecting rooms as per requested. I like that the showering amenities was Dove.
Hubby and I took the complimentary bus to Plaza Lagoi. We just needed 15 min to stock up some snacks for the kids and asked if the transport could wait for us, else we needed to wait an hour for the next bus. The transport coordinator, Edo was most kind. He gave me his number to contact him and when we were done, he came specially to pick us up back to hotel. He really went the special mile for us and we are so grateful.
Subsequently, we also arranged for paid transportation to fetch us back from Nirwana Kelong. The hotel again went all out to help us book the table at the Kelong and arranged timing for transport. By Siska through the WhatsApp. Everything was so hassle free given we could communicate through WhatsApp and they were very prompt in replying.
The hotel is v kids-friendly. Kids eat free (buffet/ ala carte). There were 3 swimming pools, kids club (2 hours complimentary per day), games room.
For adults, there were ping pong tables, table pool, bicycles around free for use. We had a relaxing morning cycling to the beach.
Guess the con was the hotel was designed such that must walk a distance to go from one place to another. Will be good if there is more shortcut to take.
All in all, will highly recommend for families. Would like to commend the staff for the great service. Bintan has been such a lovely place that we go to again and again."

"If anyone wanna have the most comfortable stay in Tanjung Pinang, this is the hotel!
Room is big, wifi is strong, the breakfast has a lot of varieties and with different menus each day.
The TV even have Netflix & Youtube!!
The staff are very accommodating & kind.
Hotel is very strategic, very near to the ferry terminal & easy to get around the city centre.

"Room was amazing. Managed to purchase an upgrade to the Seaview Villa and it was so spacious. Comfy kingbed, Huge bathtub and a pooldeck!
Only issue with the room was the toilet starting to smell especially after flushing or at night after returning to the room.
The resort provided complimentary transport to and from the ferry terminal so that made things very convenient. Within the resort itself, we had 2 bicycles to use or you could call for the buggy to ferry you around places.
The service and staff were impeccable, they truly made you feel like very special guests! Would highly recommend the spa, the massages were heavenly.
Would definitely come again and experience more at this resort."

The hospitality started the moment I arrived—I was greeted by Arya at the counter, who was incredibly helpful and kind. His warm welcome immediately put me at ease as a solo traveller. I truly appreciated the shuttle bus provided by Cassia from the ferry terminal; it felt very safe and organized, which is so important for solo female travellers.
The room itself was a dream. I loved the blue colour of the room. This soothing blue wall creates a calm space where I can truly relax. It's spacious and clean. My favourite spot was the well-equipped kitchenette and the nice private balcony; the air felt so clean and fresh, and it was such a serene place for me to sit and do my painting.
I love the sea so much, and the serene beach was so therapeutic. The pristine white sand and the shimmering turquoise blue sea were breathtaking. Being able to stroll along the shore every single day while listening to the gentle sea waves was the perfect way to clear my mind. I also loved spending time at Vista—sipping on their refreshing lime juice while soaking in the stunning sea view was pure bliss.
The food at Lotus Cafe was delicious, and the staff always greeted me with a warm smile. Having the market 23 nearby was also so convenient for snacks and essentials. If you’re a mum looking for a safe, beautiful, and welcoming place to find some peace by the water, this is it. A heartfelt thank you to Arya and the whole team!

"My stay at The Anmon Resort was a refreshing escape from the city. The desert-themed glamping was unique, Instagram-worthy, and relaxing, with spacious, comfortable tents. I especially loved the peaceful atmosphere such as waking up to fresh air and quiet surroundings was a highlight.
Evenings were memorable, with BBQ dinners outside the tent and stargazing under the open sky. The staff were friendly and responsive via WhatsApp, making everything seamless. Activities like ATV rides and the nearby lagoon added a nice mix of adventure, while the spa offered a perfect way to unwind.

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel and its facilities are very nice. Here and there a few spots of improvements needed but otherwise a very attractive hotel with lovely features. A very pleasant stay starts with a dedicated lounge at the ferry terminal which is available upon arrival and departure (taking care of your visa and other requirements). Travel to the actual hotel is within short 20 minutes by hotel shuttle bus. You can chose between colonial style suites at the main building or near by or Thai/ Bali style villas on the large ground and a short walk away from the main building. The Thai villas are very nice, filled with all the necessary amenities and some top of the range products. Plenty of storage space, outdoor veranda seating and well kept exterior make it really nice. At the main section, the pool is with its 50 meter in length a true highlight, together with the very easy and close proximity to the pristine and huge beach section. Although facing north, the beach is actually in a bay and can be explored for hours. Also well worth mentioning is the spa which provides truly amazing treatments administered by very experienced therapists who will truly pamper you from start to finish.
Regrettably, there are also a number of shortcomings. Although the hotel provides insect repellant for your daily use, even the best of preventions and best of cleaning/ spraying efforts of the staff will not stop billions of sand flees attacking you on the beach, especially after rain or during the evening hours when you become their dinner.
However, the biggest drawback is the food and beverage section. For a hotel operating in such a high price category, the restaurant is a true letdown perhaps even the sole reason for not coming back again. Yes staff everywhere is very friendly, attentive and making it their business to know you by your first name from the start, but the entire food and beverage section requires a lot of improvements to even get close to a star rated service. Yes the drinks are well made (guess can be expected at prices of US$20 plus) but the restaurant service truly lacks what it takes. The food, expensive as it is, lacks any sort of imagination, is void of any special touches, and surely does not represent Indonesian cuisine in any shape or form. As said, staff are very friendly and trying their best however, if they are not taught the basics or led by indifferent managers, then things need to change. Management comes from the top.
In summary, if you are looking for a nice place to relax in a colonial style building, not too crowded with a lovely pool, then please try the Sanchaya. However, if you looking for cuisine which is anything but poor, not even ordinary, then you better look elsewhere.

The staff were warm and hospitable, and the food was surprisingly delicious—our favourite was the fun platter. We also enjoyed the BBQ dinner and the complimentary kayaking activity.
One area for improvement would be mosquito control. It may be helpful to increase the frequency of pest control services, as we experienced quite a severe mosquito issue and received more than twenty bites during just one dinner.

The room was clean with a beautiful view, and the pool was large with plenty of daybeds. There are many activities to choose but laying all day in pool daybed was our favorite activities.
However, pool management really needs improvement. Used daybeds were not cleared, with dirty towels left everywhere also dirty plates/floors, making it hard to tell which was available. There was also no staff readily providing towels, requests took too long. If no staff is assigned, towels should simply be prepared on the daybeds.

We traveled during the Singapore school holidays, so the resort was packed. As such, our neighboring tents were all occupied. Due to the close proximity and strange tent age acoustics. I was able to hear the neighbors chatter, even when both us and neighbours were in our own tents.
Our tent was located to some bigger tents with outdoor benches. Some residents hung out, drank and smoke late into the night.
Honestly, I had the worst sleeps during the trip. For light sleepers. Please pack ear plugs.
Treasure bay is also operated independently from Natra. Please take note. There were some hiccups when I tried to book activities via the hotel and the vendor was not the most polite.
During peak season, popular activities and rides are quickly booked up, so please plan ahead .

AAlwyn YongWe wanted to have a more private and laidback stay over Christmas, and Pantai Indah Lagoi delivered this!
After immigration, we were brought to a waiting area for a private car transfer to the villa. Check in was smooth and the housekeeper did a detailed explanation of our room amenities for us. They have a dedicated WhatsApp line for any requests such as housekeeping or buggy.
Everything was clean inside and thankfully we did not have any bugs this time, which made it even more pleasant.
The private pool was also pleasant and clean for a cooling swim, and we thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful vibe of the villa.
Thankful for the great service and definitely worth visiting in a group next time!

SShiju JohnAmazing place to stay if you need to just relax and recharge in the calm. Just idle time sitting in the patio of your sea view villa and enjoy looking at the sea or walking by the beach collecting sea shells and finding baby mud crabs inside of the sea shells. It was not our first time staying at Mayang Sari or one of the other Nirwana properties. Hence, the smiling staff with their impeccable service levels is never a surprise but always a pleasure. Mayang Sari has its own restaurant, the Deli Cafe, where you can get local and western delicacies and drinks. The property has an Indian restaurant, Spice, which is a 5 minute walk from Mayang Sari, and Nirwana also has its own restaurant. They have a pick and drop shuttle from the ferry terminal, which makes it very convenient. Just a call put that this is Lagoi, so please don't expect to have malls around, and the city centre falls in the Tanjung Pinang area.

BBee Ting PohThis is my second time staying at this Villa. Really love the room and the private pool. Except you have to be careful of the food left outside. Not sure it's the bird , squirrels or monkey that came to eat.
Besides this, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We communicate our needs through WhatsApp. And they were very responsive. The breakfast was served in house. Their hot chocolate is very nice.
Nearby the Villa is the Lagoi Bay Beach, and a shopping area. There is a big Mustafa there, and Japanese Ramen Restaurant.
They even provide driver to pick us up from the Ferry Terminal to the Villa.
Will recommend all to stay here for a time of relaxation.

IIrvin Jonah CheungIf you are not fussy about a ”right slap in the city” hotel, then this is a perfect hotel for you and your family! The hotel is within walking distance to Melayu Square, Tugu Pencil, Gong-gong building, Jalan Hang Tuah, the newly built coastal bridge, and the main ferry port. The neighborhood is also very friendly and littered with many little local eateries and grocery shops that are not expensive! Even if you want a very good Chinese seafood restaurant, Sei Enam is only a stone throw away!
The hotel rooms are very basic and simple and the hotel is not equipped with a elevator, so if you are staying on the 4th floor, you'll have to walk up! Inside the rooms are simple appliances like TV, cable, telephone, drinking cups, bottled water, slippers, cupboards, drawers, hot and cold water showers, toothbrush with toothpaste, shampoo, small bar soaps, aircon, firm pillows, and even a nice bolster for you to hug to sleep! There are unfortunately no water billers nor coffee and tea condiments in the room. Hot and cold drinking water are on level 1 dinning area.
The hotel package that I took came with a simple breakfast. The dishes are local and spicy and they are often sprinkled with peanuts. Breakfast come in wrapped up (takeaway) packages with all the pratas sauces, and/or rice in paper and plastic wrappings. Cutleries and plates are available for use. Free flow of coffee and tea with sugar (no milk nor creamer).
For the price of about S$26/day, I thought that it was such a wonderful stay in this hotel! Even though it is without much amenities (because I'd rather go take my walks around town and go get a boat ride), I highly recommend this 2 star hotel for a simple and affordable stay in Tanjung Pinang!

PPengguna TetamuExcellent location away from the usual water parks and tourists. The resort is only an hr from the ferry terminal, for an additional fee, they can arrange pickup/drop off. The room is way better than the photos advertised. Every amenity you can think of is available including insect repellent cream. This is the place to stay if you want to be close to nature. There are a few species of kingfishers, sandpipers and swifts, raptors, etc just to name a few. The main highlight of this place is when the tide is low, you can walk out and go fish hunting, spot different species of crabs, and mudskippers, etc. Since it is a mangrove beach, inevitably there are sandflies so it's important to cover up when heading to the beach. The staff are friendly and food is amazing. I will be back again hopefully in the near future.
