"We had a pleasant family stay at Four Points by Sheraton Bintan, Lagoi Bay. The hotel is comfortable, clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. It’s a good option for families with children. The pool area is spacious and great for spending a relaxed afternoon with the kids, while the nearby beach gives families another easy activity without needing to arrange transportation. The hotel grounds also feel relaxed and easy to get around with children. The location was another plus for us. The proximity to the beach and the stores and restaurants outside the hotel is quite convenient, especially when travelling as a family. It was nice to be able to walk out for food, snacks or small necessities instead of having to rely entirely on the hotel. Breakfast had a good variety, including options suitable for children, and having breakfast included made our mornings much easier. Overall, Four Points is a comfortable and convenient choice for a short family getaway in Bintan. We particularly appreciated having the pool, beach and nearby shops all within easy reach."

"We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Banyan Tree Bintan to celebrate my birthday and Mother’s Day. While the resort itself is lovely—we especially enjoyed our seaview rainforest villa—it was the people who made our stay truly unforgettable. The service and hospitality were incredible. The staff went above and beyond, from enthusiastically helping my husband coordinate birthday surprises to providing exceptional service at every meal. We were consistently impressed by the team members who delivered and beautifully set up our room service, the housekeeping staff who kept our villa pristine, and the thoughtful team who surprised my son with a fantastic turndown treat. The genuine care shown by the staff is the primary reason I would return, and I truly hope the resort continues to value and foster such an amazing team. Regarding the amenities, while the resort does show its age, it didn’t detract from our experience. Our only suggestion would be to refresh the villa pools, as we encountered some issues with water clarity during our stay. Despite that, we thoroughly enjoyed our time and would certainly recommend the resort for its world-class service. Shout out to Winny (reception), Daus, Lilik, Darwis, and Hamid who made our stay (and my birthday and Mother's Day) truly magical! I also want to compliment the staff of all three restaurants: Treetop (they made my son his favorite orange and carrot juice every morning), Saffron, and Cove — food was great but service even better."

"I had pretty high hopes for Mövenpick Bintan since it’s so highly raved about on Instagram, so unfortunately the actual experience felt quite underwhelming. Our first room came with its own “built-in waterfall” — water was literally dripping down the wall. We were told it was condensation because we had left the balcony door open for too long, but honestly… is 3 minutes too long? They came to clean it up, which we appreciated, but it continued dripping throughout the night and the next day. Things on the table became wet, there were puddles on the floor and the whole room just felt damp. We eventually requested a room change the following day, which they accommodated, although the process took a few hours. My kids were also really looking forward to feeding the fish, but throughout our entire 3D2N stay there was no fish food available. We asked from Day 1 and were repeatedly told they were replenishing it, but it never happened. The facilities also felt poorly maintained. Two out of three pinball machines in the arcade were not working, and one player side of the Pac-Man machine was spoilt. The Kids Club closes at 6pm, after which there is very little for young kids to do. There also weren’t many organised activities during our stay, not even simple things like sandcastle activities. A number of the more interesting activities are separately chargeable, including the motorised bikes, water scooters and cold plunge. I don’t mind paying for additional activities, but combined with the limited complimentary activities, it made the overall resort experience feel less value-for-money than expected. The resort is also very spread out, so getting around often requires waiting for a buggy. That said, there were definitely things we enjoyed. Breakfast had a crazy amount of selection and variety — probably one of the highlights of the stay! We were also there to celebrate our anniversary and the hotel prepared a lovely anniversary set-up for us, which was a very thoughtful touch. The staff did try to resolve our room issue as well, and we appreciated their efforts. Overall, it feels more like an older hotel that has been renovated rather than a genuinely new resort. Having previously stayed at another family resort in Bintan, I found that experience more polished despite it having fewer facilities on paper. Given the hype surrounding Mövenpick, I expected a more polished family resort experience."

"Sebagai sekumpulan empat orang rakan, perjalanan ini adalah tentang relaksasi dan berehat seketika dari kesibukan Singapura. Ia merupakan percutian yang sempurna untuk berehat dan bersantai. Kami menghabiskan sebahagian besar masa kami di dalam vila, terutamanya kerana kami mempunyai kolam renang peribadi kami sendiri, yang sangat kami kagumi. Suasananya sungguh menakjubkan, dan kami suka bagaimana kami dapat menikmati ruang pesta kecil kami sendiri. Kemudahan dan kemudahannya cantik dan menyenangkan dari segi estetika. "Kakitangan di sini agak mesra, sejujurnya saya rasa mereka lebih 'chill' berbanding kakitangan hotel di negara saya. Bukan jenis mesra untuk mendapatkan ulasan bagus, tetapi memang mesra betul. Lokasi sangat strategik, dekat dengan laut dan boleh nampak bintang. Kolam renang bersih, kebersihan pun bagus, tiada serangga yang dijumpai. Makanan di restoran agak mahal, tetapi makanannya sangat sedap, sarapan pula pelbagai. Penghawa dingin berfungsi dengan baik. Saya rasa tempahan bilik di sini mungkin secara lalai sudah termasuk perkhidmatan jemputan dan hantar ke lapangan terbang serta sarapan, tetapi maklumat ini kurang jelas pada halaman pengenalan. Sangat disyorkan!"

"This trip is to celebrate both me and my nephew's Birthday. As per request, the resort put in their very good effort to decorate up our bed with birthday greeting words and complimentary cake. The front desk staff, upon arrival, are very polite, friendly and gave warm greetings. Rooms are definitely good to stay and is a unique experience for the whole family. Desk counter is there to enquire and purchase about activities outside of resort and in the resort. Overall a very happy stay and we will be back again."

"We recently stayed here for a family getaway with our 2-year-old daughter, and I cannot praise this hotel enough. Traveling with a toddler can be unpredictable, but the team here made our stay incredibly seamless and stress-free. What We Loved: Incredible Family Hospitality: From the moment we checked in, the staff went above and beyond to make our little girl feel welcome. They were patient, smiling, and always greeted her warmly. Fantastic Toddler-Friendly Facilities: The amenities for young children are top-notch. Whether it was the shallow pool areas or the play spaces, everything was clean, safe, and beautifully maintained. There are both in and outdoor playground Seamless Convenience: The room was clean and spacious, and the staff were incredibly accommodating with our requests to ensure our toddler was comfortable throughout the stay."

"At Nirwana Garden Resort, staff are friendly and genuinely nice. The beach is clean and clear waters that you can see fishes swimming around you… and watch sunset in the sea waters. Its windy and cool in the morning and evening. Food offered at good, esp the lamb shank stew. Also have nice spa - go for the Javanese massage! There are also 3 iguanas kept at the resort. We also went bowling and archery. At night we also went out for fireflies watching and kelong restaurant dinner."

"It was a pleasant and perfect stay for both my husband and I for a short getaway trip after our wedding!  The staff there were really friendly polite and thoughtful too!  After picking us up from the ferry terminal, Nabil, asked us if we needed anything to buy and he drove us to get what we needed before heading to the resort!  Upon reaching the resort, we were greeted warmly by the staff and checked in. The restaurant within the resort serves delicious food and a wide variety of dishes to choose from!  Recommend RICA RICA restaurant that serves authentic indonesian food and is affordable !!  The room itself is very clean and comfortable to stay in! We also went to the public pool for a swim and it was just so nice with the sea breeze 👍🏻  Wanted to try out island hopping but the weather conditions weren’t good so had to give it a miss. Instead we went to the spa area for a massage, it was ookayy  They also provide bicycles 🚲 at your room and you can cycle around the resort which was really nice!!  I would come back again someday!! Not a place to missed when staying in Bintan resort to relax ! Good job to all the service staff !!"

"Stayed in the private pool ocean view villa, and it was one of the best villas I’ve ever visited! 😍 The villa itself was beautiful: * 🚽 Japanese/Korean heated toilet * 🚿 Large shower * 🛀 Large bathtub * 🪞 Couple’s sink with plenty of space * 🛏️ Big, comfortable bed The ocean is clear and unpolluted, and each villa comes with an inflatable paddle—high tide was so fun, and low tide lets you spot little fishes. It felt like a private beach —perfect for fun and amazing photos with no photo bombers.✨The pool was perfect too, cleaned daily, and the resort was very private and peaceful. 💡 If I were to share my advice 🤿 Go snorkeling! My biggest regret was not going 🥺. If the water in front of the villa is already this clear and full of fish, I can only imagine the snorkeling spots. 🐠 🍽️ The Ocean Restaurant was excellent—fresh local fish and seafood noodles for 385k IDR. I didn’t plan enough time for it 🤏🥲 but it’s seriously worth it. 💡 My advice: Stay in the ocean view villa—it’s absolutely worth it. Transport is easy to arrange, but this level of ocean view and privacy at this price is rare. ✨ The best vacations are the ones with regrets from not knowing more—so go for this. A true hidden gem—100% worth visiting! 🌊💙 ❤️ Huge thank you to the manager and team for their outstanding hospitality and excellent service.
