"☀️ I booked this one-night stay as a treat for myself & oh what a treat it was! 💚PROS + well connected by bus - direct line between Noboribetsu train station & ryokan + very helpful staff, able to perfectly communicate in english and explained the whole layout to me + great food, great common room, even a souvenir shop + rooms are spectacular, clean and comfortable with a japanese vibe in the interior design choices - you get towels, drinks, tea, hygiene kits and even a full Yukata in different sizes + the onsen was incredible, the reason why i booked here in the first place: different baths with different levels of heat and ingredients, multiple open air baths, 2 saunas, great products both for washing and skin care after the bath + TATTOO FRIENDLY ❤️🩹 CONS - that i only stayed one night - pricey ⭐️ This is definitely luxury and thus i was really happy by this being my vacation treat! I wish i could’ve stayed longer, but alas. 🩷TIP Check-out is at 10 - but book your train for a later hour! You can leave your luggage in the ryokan and enjoy the hot spring one last time"

"Flight was delayed and we could only check-in on the second day, thus forfeiting the first night. When we arrived, they helped with the luggage from our rented car. When we checked out, they called and reminded us that there was surcharge if we are 15 mins late promptly at 10am! We had no help at all to load our luggages and the place gave you a feeling that they are glad to see us off! But there's a very kind old lady who was very pleasant and helpful. The room we had was spacious as we have 2 beds and another room that can lay tatami beds. The place was pleasant but service is left to be desired from a Japanese establishment."

"Bandar mata air panas di Noboribetsu sepatutnya lebih kecil, lebih indah tetapi juga mahal. Ia mengambil masa sepuluh minit untuk berjalan kaki ke Lembah Neraka. Bilik ***a Jepun bersaiz lebih besar dan tempat mandi peribadi juga sangat bagus. Dua orang boleh mandi bersama tanpa sebarang masalah. Ia adalah pilihan yang baik untuk menikmati ***a Jepun. Mata air panas di sini adalah semua mata air panas gunung berapi dengan bau sulfur yang berbeza. Terdapat tiga kolam mandi awam, satu kolam luar dan tidak ramai orang. Dari segi pengangkutan, anda boleh menempah bas dari Sapporo ke hotel anda melalui e-mel atau Ctrip. Ia bertolak dari Menara TV Sapporo pada pukul 1:15 dan berharga 1,000 yen setiap orang. Terdapat bas lapangan terbang untuk menurunkan lapangan terbang pada kira-kira pukul 10 pagi, tetapi anda terpaksa menempahnya dalam talian lebih awal dengan Bas Donan bukan mudah untuk digunakan, jadi saya meminta meja depan untuk membantu saya menempah ia menggunakan komputer saya. Hotel ini agak mahal untuk makan malam adalah kursus jamuan, yang sangat indah. Sarapan adalah separuh bufet dengan hidangan set. "Check-in was smooth and the hotel staff were welcoming! The location is great and the hotel is within walking distances to most places that you would want to visit. There is also a convenience store nearby. However, one issue we had was that the tatami room was very warm. We stayed there on 10-11 May 2026 and we had a rather difficult time sleeping at night as the room was too warm for us. Unfortunately, they seem to only have heating in the room and we were not able to open the windows either. Otherwise, we enjoyed the stay!"

"This place is amazing and I really don't understand why it has such a low rating. Rooms may be a little small but are big enough for us plus 2 large packs. Beds and pillows are comfy, generous shower/toilet space, stylish yukata/obi.The onsen are great (including free access to the multitude of options across the road at the Takimotokan hotel). And the on-site bakery and cafe are fabulous. Close to attractions plus shops and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff too. Free parking. Very reasonably priced too. Really enjoyed our 2 nights here. Would highly recommend."

"Stayed at Noboribetsu Sekisui Tei for a relaxing getaway and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel has a very traditional Japanese ryokan atmosphere, especially with the onsen facilities which were clean, spacious, and very relaxing after a long day of travelling. The location is convenient if you are visiting Noboribetsu Jigokudani (Hell Valley) as it is only a short distance away. The room was comfortable and reasonably spacious, though some parts of the hotel do feel slightly dated. Staff were polite and helpful throughout the stay. The buffet breakfast and dinner had a decent variety of Japanese dishes and seafood, and the dining experience was enjoyable. One of the highlights was definitely the outdoor hot spring bath, especially during the colder weather. Very peaceful and calming experience. Overall, a good stay for anyone looking to experience a traditional onsen hotel in Noboribetsu with good service and relaxing hot springs."

"Have always been wanting a private onsen as we are very shy about going naked in public bath. Was happy to find this wonderful place with a very big room and private onsen plus very good breakfast and dinner served inside our room by a very sweet lady. We stayed for 2 nights and the menu is never the same. All staffs we met are always very polite and helpful, displaying excellent service. They recommended us to attend the fire works festival and guided us how to buy the tickets, we were very glad that we attended this event. This whole place is so clean and zen, shoes were not allowed inside the hotel, we walked around in socks. Onsen inside the room is ferric spring which doesn't produce too much sulphur smell, and the whole hotel don't smell that bad. Walking distance to surronding shops, restaurants and Jigokudani Valley."

"For us it is the second time in this beautiful hotel and we are happy to have returned. Everything is made to make you fully experience the atmosphere of the place and the attention to detail is maximum: each floor is adorned and embellished with vases of fragrant fresh flowers every day (Japanese lilies specifically and roses); the staff is very welcoming and takes care of you with extreme attention to all your needs and desires; the food is of excellent quality and very varied and in the hotel you can find everything (drink machines, souvenir shop, games room and much more)! Thank you for the welcome and the experience!"

"Nice overall experience. Location extremely central and easy to get to many key places. The ryokan is clearly very used to foreigners. Overall a good experience but I was made fun of by a staff for not knowing some of the ryokan rules (I can understand Japanese but I cannot speak it well). This was the only thing that was a bit embarrassing. The breakfast and dinner were both amazing. I would highly recommend this place."

"I think this is probably one of the most value-for-money hotels at Noboribetsu. Dinner and breakfast were decent with staff regularly refilling food and facilities were not the newest but were definitely acceptable. The staff were polite and the hotel was a few minutes walk away from the main sightseeing spots. Definitely recommend for people looking to stay at a less expensive yet good quality hotel!"
