"There are some bad experiences that do not recommend this hotel:
1. The price of room will be double during the busy season.
2. The recommendation tax fee would be paid when check in. During our 8-day trip in Hokkaido, this is the only hotel that the tax should be paid before we use the room. If this normal work flow that this hotel states, highly recommended they should think about this.
3. The receptionist has bad attitude. The receptionist kept ask the details about the booked room type especially this happened we have already check in before 3 pm and back to hotel, which I believe they can check the booking information through their computer. In addition, when we did not understand the staff saying, the receptionist is impatient and not willing to explain again and slowly. And this kind of conversation happened twice with same service staff.
4. Due to the location of the hotel, it is noisy that hard to sleep. About 5 + emergency cars went through one night.
5. No service staff guide us to our seat when we have breakfast. Others does."

It’s also super easy to get to the airport, as the airport limousine stop is right in front of the hotel. Overall, a superb choice for anyone visiting Sapporo!"

"The hotel was very nice. We got the corner rooms (208-209) and they had nothing to complain about. Spacious than most standard rooms in Japan. Our room has sofa and a table. Separate toilet, washing basin zone, and the shower room has a bathtub and a shower head separately. (I don't like thw combination one so i purposely chose this type of room)
The cleanliness was superb, you can put the card on the bed and the sticker at the door to sign them to help clean the room and change the bed sheet. The room is equipped with a mini fridge, hair dryer, robes, air humidifier, kettler, few glasses and mugs, air freshener spray, slippers, laundry bag (for laundry service).
Staff were nice, breakfast buffet was great (no need to book in advance, can pay upfront)
The closest stations are the Tozai Line (orange): Nishi juitchome and the Namboku, Toho, Tozai Line: Odori station."

"Was pleasantly surprised at how clean the hotel room was when we first checked into the room. No stench at all. Basic amenities are provided and rooms are cleaned daily while bedsheets are changed once every two days. Bed is comfortable and hotel is in close vicinity of three different convenience stores, which is a plus. There is also a direct airport shuttle bus service which costs 1500yen per person, right at the hotel. Hotel from Sapporo station is about 20mins walk."

"Hotel's location is very convenient as it is connected to the Underground walkway. Although walking around the downtown on a snowy pavement is awesome too,using the Chika-ho is convenient when you are walking with a 23kg luggage.
Hotel is near Odōri and Susukino so Sapporo City's famous locations are very accessible.
Breakfast is so yum and even serves ice cream. Room has a drip pod coffee maker and that is amazing -- coffee at the warmth of your room.
We'd like to book the same hotel with more family members next time❤️"

The room is considered spacious in Japan for 3pax family.

The location is a near to odori but not so near. But considered convenient, surround by convenient stores and restaurant.
The nearest 狸小路street is no7, the tip of the famous street.
Lack of amenities for drinking water, even the bathroom tap is labelled drinking water.

"The location is fantastic, just some minutes walk from Sapporo station. From the hotel, it is easy to reach to other places such as Susukino on foot. The room and hotel are fantastic, clean. Highly recommended and will definitely be back in the future!"

PPengguna TetamuI had a really wonderful stay at Hotel Sosei Sapporo (MGallery Collection) and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Hokkaido.
From the moment we arrived, the hotel already stood out with its beautifully designed entrance and lobby. The entire space feels like a curated designer showroom, every corner is thoughtfully styled and incredibly aesthetic, with plenty of Instagram-worthy spots.
The room itself was very cosy and comfortable. You can tell that a lot of attention has been put into the details, from the furnishings to the amenities. Even the smaller touches, like the toiletries and hair dryer, felt premium and well-designed, which really elevated the overall experience.
One of the highlights of our stay was the service. The staff were exceptionally friendly, warm, and hospitable, making us feel welcomed right from check-in. Their attentiveness definitely added to the comfort of the stay.
Overall, I would rate this hotel 9.5/10 and would happily stay here again on my next trip to Sapporo.

MMYS SYYou do not have to worry about snowing or raining whenever you want to pull your trolley luggage between hotel and Sapporo Station. Because they have an underground pass connecting to the hotel without any exposure to sky.
The public bath is clean and maintained well. They also provide towels so you do not need to bring from your room.
They allowed me to store my luggage at the hotel a day earlier before I checked in. Which help me to save my cost in coin locker at station.

We recently stayed at this brand new hotel for 3 nights and was thoroughly impressed. As someone who travels frequently and appreciated good design and hospitality, this property hit all the right notes.
The ambience & Room:
The hotel features a clean and medern design.
My room was a decent size-not too small for 2 people-and perfectly maintained.
ิิิิฺ-Modern amenities including a Nespresso machine and a smart TV with Netflix made our stay very comfortable when snowing outside.
-Attentive and consistent housekeeping. The room was refreshed daily with plenty of drinking water provided.
Service:
The staff here are the true stars. They are genuinely friendly, always greeting us with a smile. They went beyond by help to pre-booking a fixed-rate taxi for our airport transfrer, which made our early morning departure stress-free.
Location and Dining:
While the hotel isn't right in the hustle and bustle of the center area, it is within easy walking distance to everything. The subway is just around the corner but we prefer walking for observation. The surrounding area is packed with great local dining options. Plus, the hotel's own restaurant is quite a great choice for a great dinner.
A Small Note for Improvement:
The only thing I missed was the ability to slightly crack open a window. As someone sensitive to room temperature during sleep (especially in winter), having a bit of fresh air would have made the stay even more perfect.
Verdict: Highly recommended for those who valure cleanliness, modern aesthetics, and top-tier service. We would definitely stay here again next time.

PPengguna TetamuLoved that the hotel allows guests with tattoo to use the onsen though this wasn’t made known explicitly with written signs. Hotel was located at the end of Tanukoji so it’s a distance from the main area although still walkable.
Note that the bathroom doesn’t have a space to put your dry clothes and you will have to wear it outside unless you do not mind the bottom of your pants getting wet. Not very convenient for mix gender groups even though there’s a blind you can draw but still be visible from the mirror reflection. Room was located in the annex building which has alot of stairs so not that convenient for elderlies too. Overall, decent hotel but recommended only if you have no issues walking or are driving.

You can almost different shops in the station building including supermarkets. The hotel room is spacious, comfortable and clean, providing all necessary amenities and services. I hope this message finds you well. I would like to share a small concern regarding my experience at the front desk on March 1, in the hope that it may be helpful for your future service considerations.
After checking out from another hotel, we planned a 2‑day, 1‑night trip to Otaru and wished to store our luggage at your hotel beforehand. When we arrived, we were assisted by your staff member, Ms. Hayshi(林）.When we asked whether it was possible to store our luggage, we were informed that storage was limited to one day only.
We then explained that we would be returning quite late the following evening and asked if there might be any flexibility or alternative arrangements. However, the response we received felt a little abrupt, including a surprised “Huh?” that left us unsure how to continue the conversation. This made us feel slightly uncomfortable and misunderstood, though we believe it may simply have been a moment of miscommunication.
In addition, from the day we inquired about luggage storage until March 4, we noticed that there were still two pieces of luggage stored in the luggage area for several days. We would appreciate some clarification on why those items were allowed to remain for an extended period, as this left us a bit confused about the policy.
At the same time, I would also like to express my sincere appreciation for the warmth and professionalism shown by your Assistant Front Office Manager “Faucett mark “during my check‑in. He welcomed me with genuine kindness, clearly explained the procedures and facilities, and made me feel very well taken care of after a long journey. His patience and attentiveness created a truly positive impression, and I hope the hotel will acknowledge his excellent service.
We have always appreciated the thoughtful hospitality that Japanese hotels are known for, which is why we chose to stay with you. With this in mind, we wanted to gently share both our concern and our gratitude, and we would appreciate a brief reply so we can feel more at ease for the rest of our stay.

KKay AmioLocation is good. It is close to the central area. Room is spacious enough for 2. Although you cannot open 2 luggages at the same time. There’s a mini fridge and a kettle. Free coffee and tea. Also you can borrow hair curler and iron on the front desk. They also offer other things you can borrow like nail cutter and others. They change towels everyday. But room cleaning is not allowed until your 4th night. The view is nice too. Here’s a photo taken from our room.

The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk to the lively Susukino area; however, there is no underground walkway, so walking in cold weather while pulling luggage can be a bit challenging.
We stayed in a Standard Double Room, and the space was a little tight for opening 2 medium-sized suitcases and 1 large suitcase comfortably.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Thank you.
