"Honestly. Riverside hotel had a fairly good service. I did not like the first room they had given because it was not the one I saw and booked for (it on the first floor, last room on the corridor), they immediately found another room and relocated me. The rooms are very old. The first one had mold and rust and it didn’t help that the window was facing a wall. But the location was beautiful and staff very friendly and helpful. As a female traveling solo, I felt safe and secure."

"Mieszkalismy w Tropical Willa Plus. To przestronny, komfortowy dom położony wśród tropikalnej roślinności. Górą wśród drzew przemykały stada małp które ochrona przegania ale, ku naszej radości , kilka razy udalo się nam zobaczyć. Śniadania są średniej jakości. Brak naturalnych soków mango czy ananasowego. Plaża Raylay jest przepiękna ale do około godziny 10. Potem pojawiają się w duzych ilosciach chalaśliwe long boty i tłumy odwiedzajacych to miejsce turystów. Jeszcze piękniejsza, a zapewne najpiękniejsza na świecie, jest sąsiednia plaża Phra Nang. Najlepiej pojawić się na niej rano kiedy duża część jest w cieniu skał i nie ma tlumu turystow."

"The Railay Princess Resort & Spa was very very good. First time we’ve stayed there and we were very happy with the resort, facilities and location … great location! The restaurant offers very good meals and in particular breakfast was terrific! It’s true there’s quite a few monkeys hanging around but leave them alone and they’ll leave you alone. Overall a lovely resort and will be our “go to” accommodation when we’re back in Railay Bay. Highly recommend!!"

"We loved this resort and felt so lucky to had found this amazing property at discount. The staff was very attentive, make us feel like royalty, the pool was incredible, the room was spacious with an amazing view, the bed was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was huge with separate shower and tub. The resort looks isolating but is not, city central is within walking distance, transportation comes quick at all times (we used Bolt), no issues with deliveries either (we used Lineman), and had no issues finding transportation for early airport flight. We purchase an island tour from a travel agency at city central and that included pickup and drop-off from this hotel, we had other plan but changed that in order to enjoy this property, highly recommended you spare a day or some time and spend it here relaxing, cannot say enough about the pool."

"We had a wonderful stay at Bhunga Thani. We were quickly greeted warmly by staff, and we were given access to our room a little bit early. Every staff member we passed by said hello - how lovely. Our room had a peak a boo view of the ocean and breakfast was sufficient for our needs. Most importantly to us, the resort was quiet and peaceful with easy access to Railay East floating pier and minutes from Railay West and Phra Nang beach (the highlight)."

"Though km traveling solo, I never felt lonely. The staff in this hotel are so friendly and given their best hospitality for us to enjoy our stay. I stayed at Pakasai Resort in Ao Nang, Krabi for 2 nights (June 22–24) and couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful experience—especially for my birthday! I originally only hoped for a room upgrade, but the resort went far beyond my expectations and made my celebration truly unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly warm and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, and the surprises didn’t stop there. On my birthday, I was greeted with a beautiful birthday cake, a thoughtful message arranged on the bed, and genuinely heartfelt service throughout the day. I also booked dinner at GAIA, the resort’s own restaurant, and was treated to a free cocktail to celebrate. The atmosphere, service, and food were all excellent—it was the perfect birthday dinner. The resort itself is cozy and peaceful, surrounded by lush greenery that makes you feel close to nature. The pool area is lovely and relaxing, and the entire resort has a calm, welcoming vibe. Overall, I felt truly taken care of during my stay. I highly recommend Pakasai Resort to anyone visiting Ao Nang, especially if you're looking for a place that combines comfort, nature, and genuinely caring service. I’m already thinking about coming back!

PPengguna TetamuI had an exceptional stay at Phi Phi Long Beach Resort Villa. In my experience, this is the most balanced and comfortable location on the island. Other areas tend to be overcrowded and noisy, especially considering that Phi Phi receives massive daily traffic from Krabi, Phuket, and other nearby destinations. Most visitors are day-trippers or short-term guests, while only a small number stay for a week or longer. For a 5–6 day holiday, this area is ideal. I found a very good deal for this hotel and paid 60 USD per night, which is an excellent price for the overall level, location, and quality of breakfast. The rooms are spacious, though some construction materials are visibly exposed—cracks, chips, unpainted surfaces, and panels that could be better finished. I booked a twin room with two single beds, but such a room was not available upon arrival. The hotel provided an extra bed free of charge, resulting in a king bed plus a single bed. Space was sufficient, and cleanliness was consistently maintained. Housekeeping does an excellent job, working daily and attentively. The air conditioning performs well. The shower is basic, just an open floor without separation, but for this price and for an island with limited logistics, this is acceptable. Electricity works reliably. Wi-Fi exists but only functions near the reception area. Rooms are located higher up the hill, and in my unit the signal did not reach at all. This was the biggest disappointment, as I had to rely on mobile data. Reception and restaurant staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel provides a free transfer from the main pier during check-in and check-out hours. We preferred not to rely on the schedule and used long-tail taxis instead: 120 THB per person during the day and 150 THB in the evening. Around the hotel there are many good cafés; walking to the right side of the beach you can find a small, cozy place where we ate regularly without any issues. I would not recommend eating in the main tourist center, where food hygiene complaints are common. The concierge team helps with luggage upon arrival and departure; when arriving by long-tail boat they meet you at the beach and deliver bags directly to your room. The standard tip is 100 THB, which I found reasonable considering the heat and the distance across the sand. The hotel has a swimming pool, though I chose not to use it, as I wasn’t sure about water replacement frequency. Breakfast offers a wide selection, consistently good coffee, and fresh fruits—usually dragon fruit and watermelon, or pineapple and watermelon. The continental options are solid, with a few Thai dishes available. Breakfast was excellent and kept us full until late afternoon. The beach is outstanding, with beautiful water and a peaceful atmosphere. I recommend buying water shoes, as sea urchins are present; I saw them while snorkeling. The water quality, sand, and overall environment are exceptional and fully worth the stay. We visited the central area once and immediately understood that it was not for us: loud, crowded, chaotic, and unpleasant. I would not recommend staying anywhere near the central streets. Long Beach offers everything needed for a perfect stay. I highly recommend this hotel and advise future guests to explore reviews of this specific area, as they will be helpful.

Our room was nothing special so we spent most of the time at the pool. Many chairs to lie on in the shade. A bit over priced for the Chinese new year holiday. But we really enjoyed it and the staff was very friendly and moved us to a new room after we complained about noisy neighbors. Check-out time is 11am which is a bit early to be honest. But you can still relax by the pool and facilities after checkout.

PPengguna TetamuThis hotel is amazing! It used to be a temple so it has a fantastic Thai architecture. The room and bathroom were really big and spacious. The staff was friendly and the housekeeping is daily and dedicated. The aircon worked well, the bed was comfortable and there's plenty of furniture in the rooms. The swimming pool is big and in good condition. The hotel is right in front of the beach but not in the central Ao Nang area. The wifi was very weak during the whole stay.

AAlbertoboy JRThis was my first time staying at a hotel with traditional Thai architecture, like what you’d see in palaces and temples, and it was such a cool experience. The room was totally worth the price, clean, tidy, and pretty spacious for just me traveling alone. The vibe of the place is peaceful and perfect for relaxing, yet it’s only a few steps away from the beach! There’s also a swimming pool which is great for families and kids friendly. Plus, there's a local night market not too far away, which was great to check out. The breakfast here was spot on, and the staff were all so nice and helpful. Overall, I had an amazing time and would definitely come back again! 😍
