"We had a wonderful stay at Bhunga Thani. We were quickly greeted warmly by staff, and we were given access to our room a little bit early. Every staff member we passed by said hello - how lovely. Our room had a peak a boo view of the ocean and breakfast was sufficient for our needs. Most importantly to us, the resort was quiet and peaceful with easy access to Railay East floating pier and minutes from Railay West and Phra Nang beach (the highlight)."

"Cozy and Peaceful Stay Had a cozy stay at this hotel, and the location was perfect for relaxing and unwinding. It offers easy access to the airport, central Krabi, and Krabi Town, making it convenient to get around. Ao Nang Beach and the Landmark Night Market are also within about a 15–20 minute drive. The area itself is quiet and peaceful, which makes it ideal if you prefer a calm stay away from the crowded tourist spots while still being close enough to the main attractions."

"Saya sudah muak dengan kesibukan di Pantai Ao Nang, asap rokok, dan bau kumbahan, jadi lokasi ini tenang dan santai. Bilik itu baru diubah suai, bersih dan luas. Dua botol air diisi semula setiap hari, tetapi atas sebab tertentu pada hari terakhir ia dibotolkan dan bukannya botol plastik. Cadar dan tuala tidak ditukar melainkan anda bertanya. "Stay on 8/5/2026 The location was great, very close to the beach. The room itself was okay and comfortable enough for our stay even it old concept. However, we requested a queen bed but were given two single beds instead, which was quite disappointing. We were also placed in the room at the very end, and the view outside the room was not pleasant at all. There were piles of thing with unfinished construction materials, and rubber pipes scattered around, making the area look messy and poorly maintained. Even though we only stayed for one night and not even a full 24 hours, but we paid because we simply wanted the experience of staying near the beach. Guests should still be treated properly regardless of how long they stay. I also don’t understand why guests would be placed in a room facing an unfinished work area with construction materials right outside the stairs. I understand the hotel may have been fully booked and changing rooms might not have been possible, but at least maintain the area better before assigning guests to that room. The staff service was also disappointing. One of the female staff members seemed unfriendly and gave us the feeling that she judged us based on our appearance because we had just come back from the beach and went straight to check-in after checking out from our previous hotel. The way she treated us felt unwelcoming bcs she pass us to another staff & she happily treat next guest bcs they are same nationalities. Unfair Overall, the location is a plus, but the service and room experience could definitely be improved. I dont have much photo but i have many video from my camera your hotel's room bcs we not satisfied"

"The location of this hotel is very good located in Krabi town nearby alot of food markets, local bars and more. It's not a high priced hotel but gives you the correct quality you want for this budget. The staff is really friendly and the rooms are safely protected behind a closed door. I could also leave my luggage safely for few hours on checkout day. Thank you, I am a happy customer."

"The Railay Princess Resort & Spa was very very good. First time we’ve stayed there and we were very happy with the resort, facilities and location … great location! The restaurant offers very good meals and in particular breakfast was terrific! It’s true there’s quite a few monkeys hanging around but leave them alone and they’ll leave you alone. Overall a lovely resort and will be our “go to” accommodation when we’re back in Railay Bay. Highly recommend!!"

"I had a very pleasant stay here. After spending 2 nights in the Ao Nang area, I decided to spend my last night somewhere more private and away from the crowds, and this hotel was the perfect choice. I celebrated my birthday here, and it made the experience even more memorable. The restaurant served really delicious food, and the prices were quite reasonable for the quality and atmosphere. The view was absolutely majestic — unfortunately, I couldn’t catch the sunset because the weather was about to rain, which was a bit sad. Special thanks to Angela for really taking note of my requests and making my stay even more comfortable. Overall, it was such a peaceful and beautiful stay, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing escape in Krabi"

"This hotel was very nice. Rooms were clean and was enough room for both me and my husband. It came with a balcony overlooking the pool which you have to choose when booking. Walkable to the night market and in area somewhat away from the clubs and restaurants. You can easily catch a tuk tuk to take you to the lively area which is only 5 minutes away. They have two hotels next to each other so it depends on the room that you book which will determine which one you will have your stay. We stayed at the one that was, according to them, more of a three star compared to the five star one next door. The breakfast was sooooo good with lots of variety. The eating area was a bit crowded but nice and you can always find a place to sit. The staff was very helpful and answered all our questions. In the lobby there is a very nice woman who will help you set up excursions and they will pick you up in the lobby. We went on the sunset excursions and it was absolutely amazing! We had no complaints during our stay and will definitely go back there next time we’re in Ao Nang."

RRodrigoBHere's a short review in English based on your notes: --- This hotel is beautiful and tranquil, set in a tropical environment with many open-air areas. You need to go outside to reach the reception, restaurant, or bathroom from your room. They have done a fantastic job of combining luxury with a natural, jungle-like setting—something I've never seen before. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast is really good. If you're looking for a more exotic nature experience, this place is ideal. However, if you prefer a more standard/business stay, it might not be the best option.

The staff are very polite and welcoming, and you can tell they genuinely care and pay attention to details. Everything is thoughtfully designed: comfortable, clean, and very pleasant. The property consists of several villas arranged around a pool. The pool itself is great — easy access and very convenient to use. The room doesn’t offer much in terms of cooking facilities, but everything else is perfectly arranged. The bed is very comfortable, with an excellent mattress. Breakfast is served buffet-style, and the staff carefully maintain cleanliness and order. It’s also a very quiet and peaceful place.

Dapur dan pinggan mangkuk tidak mencukupi di dalam bilik. Kolam renangnya bersih, tetapi tiada kerusi berjemur di sekelilingnya. Secara keseluruhan, ia bukan hotel yang buruk. My kids very enjoyed swimming pool and the staff very touched having the bubble balls for them, i remember after we back to hotel while raining, them also serve us and pass umbrella, very friendly. JJanicejnI absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! Room Upgrade & Design: I was upgraded to a newly renovated room, and it was stunning! The design is very beautiful, featuring a minimalist style with warm wooden tones. I was very impressed with the room itself. The only minor drawback for guests seeking absolute quiet is the soundproofing of the front door, which is a little thin. You can still hear some noise from people walking past in the hallway. Exceptional Staff: The service from the staff was outstanding. Hardy, Kik, and Cream were all wonderful, providing excellent and very friendly service. A special mention also goes to Lusho at the breakfast restaurant. It's just a short 7-minute walk to Ao Nang beach and very close to the night market, restaurants, and a 7-Eleven. Facilities: • Spa: The hotel spa is fantastic! I had the aroma massage for 850 THB, and it was excellent—both muscle and mind felt completely relaxed. The calming natural sounds, especially with the rain falling during my session, made it incredibly soothing. • Fitness & Pool: The fitness center is well-equipped, and the swimming pool is lovely. Overall: This is the perfect place for a relaxing, no-stress vacation. The food is good, the location is excellent (close to the beach and nearby restaurants), and the facilities are comprehensive. I truly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be returning!

The location is a clear highlight. The beach is calm and relatively private, without the usual crowd of boats, which made for a very relaxing environment. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety and consistently good quality. The overall decor of the lobby and restaurants was also beautifully done, creating a pleasant and refined atmosphere for both breakfast and dinner. However, service was somewhat inconsistent. Room service could be slow at times, and on a few occasions, items like trash left outside the room were not cleared promptly. There were also communication lapses—for example, we had requested assistance to coordinate with an elephant sanctuary, but the message was not properly followed through between staff members. There were also minor maintenance issues, such as a non-functioning balcony light, which we chose not to escalate but would have expected to be addressed proactively at this level. For a family room, we expected more thoughtful child-friendly design. Simple things like a stool for children to reach the sink were missing, which made basic routines unnecessarily difficult and less safe. The pool facilities were decent but not outstanding, and cleanliness could be improved. In particular, the kiddie pool had visible debris and bugs, which made it less comfortable for young children. We also found the pool safety setup confusing and somewhat concerning. There were clear warnings stating that there are no lifeguards and that parents are responsible for supervision. However, there was consistently a staff member seated by the pool under a shaded area, appearing like a lifeguard but not actively monitoring the pool. This created a misleading impression and could give families a false sense of security. During our stay, we also witnessed a situation where a child became stuck under part of the pool obstacle structure, and assistance had to be actively requested from nearby staff. While the situation was resolved, it reinforced our concern that supervision and safety measures could be more proactive. Given the number of safety warnings posted around the pool, we were surprised that no trained lifeguard was present, especially as the current setup may give families a false sense of supervision. One of the main drawbacks was the pricing structure. Many services and items felt excessively priced, including: • Food at the on-site restaurants (significantly higher than comparable options outside the resort) • Transport and excursion arrangements (e.g., speedboat pricing well above market rates) • Activity rentals, such as the Sub Blue underwater scooter (350 THB++ for 30 minutes), which felt disproportionately expensive • Additional charges for small requests, including delivery fees for food within the property These added costs created a sense of being “nickel-and-dimed,” which detracted from the overall experience. Overall, while we appreciated the beautiful location, excellent breakfast, and well-designed spaces, we felt that service consistency, family-friendliness, safety clarity, and value for money could be improved to better align with five-star expectations.

PPengguna TetamuI had an exceptional stay at Phi Phi Long Beach Resort Villa. In my experience, this is the most balanced and comfortable location on the island. Other areas tend to be overcrowded and noisy, especially considering that Phi Phi receives massive daily traffic from Krabi, Phuket, and other nearby destinations. Most visitors are day-trippers or short-term guests, while only a small number stay for a week or longer. For a 5–6 day holiday, this area is ideal. I found a very good deal for this hotel and paid 60 USD per night, which is an excellent price for the overall level, location, and quality of breakfast. The rooms are spacious, though some construction materials are visibly exposed—cracks, chips, unpainted surfaces, and panels that could be better finished. I booked a twin room with two single beds, but such a room was not available upon arrival. The hotel provided an extra bed free of charge, resulting in a king bed plus a single bed. Space was sufficient, and cleanliness was consistently maintained. Housekeeping does an excellent job, working daily and attentively. The air conditioning performs well. The shower is basic, just an open floor without separation, but for this price and for an island with limited logistics, this is acceptable. Electricity works reliably. Wi-Fi exists but only functions near the reception area. Rooms are located higher up the hill, and in my unit the signal did not reach at all. This was the biggest disappointment, as I had to rely on mobile data. Reception and restaurant staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel provides a free transfer from the main pier during check-in and check-out hours. We preferred not to rely on the schedule and used long-tail taxis instead: 120 THB per person during the day and 150 THB in the evening. Around the hotel there are many good cafés; walking to the right side of the beach you can find a small, cozy place where we ate regularly without any issues. I would not recommend eating in the main tourist center, where food hygiene complaints are common. The concierge team helps with luggage upon arrival and departure; when arriving by long-tail boat they meet you at the beach and deliver bags directly to your room. The standard tip is 100 THB, which I found reasonable considering the heat and the distance across the sand. The hotel has a swimming pool, though I chose not to use it, as I wasn’t sure about water replacement frequency. Breakfast offers a wide selection, consistently good coffee, and fresh fruits—usually dragon fruit and watermelon, or pineapple and watermelon. The continental options are solid, with a few Thai dishes available. Breakfast was excellent and kept us full until late afternoon. The beach is outstanding, with beautiful water and a peaceful atmosphere. I recommend buying water shoes, as sea urchins are present; I saw them while snorkeling. The water quality, sand, and overall environment are exceptional and fully worth the stay. We visited the central area once and immediately understood that it was not for us: loud, crowded, chaotic, and unpleasant. I would not recommend staying anywhere near the central streets. Long Beach offers everything needed for a perfect stay. I highly recommend this hotel and advise future guests to explore reviews of this specific area, as they will be helpful.

The reception girls are really lovely and helpful with whatever request you might have(like booking boats to your next destination), just remember to say please and thank you(kohp khun ka/krap). The hotel is the last one on the pier side bay, therefore is really quiet, even now in high season. The down low is that you have to walk 20minutes to restaurants and bars on 30+ degree heat + high humity,so expect to arrive sweating both ways. The hotel itself is probably 40/50 years old and seems that never been renovated, the inside of the rooms need freshing up,paint etc...an overall renovation of the whole building. Although the rooms were clean, aircon was good and our room with the pool access(1 of 3) had great views from the bay. Pool was also clean and it was at a good temperature. If you are here for just a couple of days it is fine. Breakfast is basic but they have an egg station, so you can order your eggs however you prefer. And the black coffee was great too(better than other hotels we stayed in Bangkok/Krabi). The hotel staff were very kind to supply my wife with Flying Rabbit(a local thai version of gaviscon/diarrhoea medicine) which helped a mild food poisoning combined with charcoal tablets. Moreover, the hotel has a little private beach with sun lounges at the very end of the bay, perfect for chilling when you don't have any boat trips booked for the morning. Be aware that it becomes shady after around 3pm because its so close to the mountain. Also there were monkeys signs on your doors to keep them lock to prevent curious monkeys of rummaging through your stuff but we haven't seen any during our 3 night stay. Would I stay at this hotel again? Probably not unless completely renovated:, too far from the restaurants and bars and very old/tired. Make sure you use some walking shoes when going out because you definitely gonna hit that 10000 steps mark.

MMarlé South AfricaReally beautiful place right on the beach. Several pools. Nice restaurant and amazing breakfast buffet, even for me as a vegan. Our room was nothing special so we spent most of the time at the pool. Many chairs to lie on in the shade. A bit over priced for the Chinese new year holiday. But we really enjoyed it and the staff was very friendly and moved us to a new room after we complained about noisy neighbors. Check-out time is 11am which is a bit early to be honest. But you can still relax by the pool and facilities after checkout.

The staff was friendly and the housekeeping is daily and dedicated. The aircon worked well, the bed was comfortable and there's plenty of furniture in the rooms. The swimming pool is big and in good condition. The hotel is right in front of the beach but not in the central Ao Nang area. The wifi was very weak during the whole stay.
