"The room was surprisingly spacious and beautifully designed. Although the hotel doesn’t advertise itself as having a sea view, you can still enjoy a distant view of the ocean from the room, which was a nice bonus.
The facilities were quite complete, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location is definitely one of the biggest highlights—it’s excellent. You can walk directly into Central shopping mall, making it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and entertainment.
Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort and a fantastic location."

"I had an amazing stay at Kira Baya on Koh Samet and would definitely recommend it overall. Ace and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
The rooms were exceptionally clean, very well maintained, and we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. Both breakfast and dinner were enjoyable, with good variety and quality. We also really appreciated having access to the kayak, which added a fun touch to the experience.
One thing to note, as others have mentioned, is that the beach in front of the property is quite stoney and could benefit from some cleaning. Additionally, the hotel is located at the far end of the island, so getting around requires some planning. There is a shuttle service available, but it is not included in the stay and not directly provided by the hotel, which is something other hotels tend to handle better.
That said, I was able to rent a scooter for 100 THB per hour, which gave me a great opportunity to explore the island independently.
Overall, despite a few minor inconveniences, this was a fantastic stay with excellent service, and I would happily return"

"I recently completed a 2-night stay at the Holiday Inn & Suites Rayong City Centre and had a fantastic experience. As one of the tallest buildings in the city, the views from the room are unparalleled—you can see all the way to the coast.
The rooms are modern, clean, and well-maintained. Since it’s a ‘Suites’ property, the extra space made the stay feel much more relaxed compared to a standard hotel. The rooftop infinity pool is a major highlight, especially during sunset. Location-wise, it’s perfect; it’s attached to Passione Shopping Destination, making it very easy to find dining and shopping options. Highly recommended for both business and leisure!"

"A budget-friendly hotel with complete amenities. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and they provided toast and coffee in the morning. The reception staff were polite and provided good service.
The downsides were that the parking area was limited, the walls were quite thin so you could hear noise from nearby rooms, and the bathroom had a slight musty smell (possibly because the bathroom door had been left open before check-in).
Overall, considering the price, it was a good value stay and I would recommend it."

"The hotel is very new. Nice, clean and fully equipped with facilities similar to the standard of new hotels in China. The location of the hotel is on Saengchan close to Rayong city and near Laem Charoen Beach. Saeng Chan beach looks better in pictures. It's a hip beach for the younger generation to hang out. The location is good for young locals or foreigners who may travel to Rayong by public transportation. I personally prefer further away from city, a more quiet long beach such as Mae Pim beach or Mae Rum Pueng beach."

ClurThe service on the whole was top class, from the minute we arrived at the pier, we knew we were in good hands. A very professional and slick check-in, transfer to the speedboat and arrival at the hotel. (A far cry from the Ban Phe experience and any normal speedboat to Samed!!)
Check-in was low-key, but it was great; we could get into our room on arrival ( 11.30), and we were on the beach by 12.
The beach is beautiful, very clean and crystal waters, this is the sunset side too so completely different waves to the white sands side, much choppier and more wavy but great fun.
there was only 12 beds on the beach and i got a bit fomo when i looked at how many ao prao had out but tbf they were easy enough to grab if you did want to use ( as they were in the shade all day). The pool area was lovely, a nice jacuzzi too and enough beds.
Breakfast was 5star quality, nice linened tables and good additional options on top of the buffet that was provided. The usual health shots, juices, thai and european food available, also good selection of meats, cheeses and bread.
The only downside is more the location. On that side of the island all the restuarants, bar one, are plus plus, so you can spend a fortune on dining out. The alternative is a songtow to the other parts of the isalnd ( 200bt each way) so ends up being a pricey do. Equally its quiet and beautiful so swings and roundabouts if youre only there for a few days.

Pengguna TetamuLoved our first stay here! Our room was a ”Second Row” Sea View, but the view was still lovely. The room was huge, clean, and very comfortable, though the shower pressure could be stronger.
The balcony is massive and great for relaxing. Since the resort gets a nice breeze all day, you can just sit and ”slow life” it for hours.
The food is a standout—the Grilled Ribs and Grilled Garlic Fish are must-tries. Everything tasted so fresh. We will definitely be returning!

Ole BTWe loved our stay at Samed Amoris Resort & Pool Villas. We booked a villa with private pool for 3 days and that was exactly what we needed. We spend most days on the hotel area and not many people around so it felt like we had a resort for ourselves.
The breakfast buffeet was great, the service personel was kind and serviceminded as well.
The place is a bit far away from the island «centre» and other activities so I would recommend renting a motorcycle to get around. The hotel does have a restaurant, but we didn’t try that out.
For the pool villa I miss having a pool net, and a rake/broom to remove excess leaves and millipedes. There’s a lot of millipedes around. Other than that this is a perfect vacation resort.
I would definitely come back some day.

Perfect location right on the beach. The beachfront restaurant is very good and caters to a variety of tastes. The rooms are decent. The hotel is more geared toward younger guests, who visit in large numbers, but it can also be a good choice for families who do not mind the lively atmosphere.

Everything inside the room was well arranged and comfortable, making the stay very relaxing. Waking up with the beach view and being just steps away from the sea was the best part. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and highly recommended for a beach getaway!

We are very familiar with island life in Thailand and appreciate that some things just don’t work as well.
The location of Malibu Samed Resort is gorgeous, it’s more or less situated on the beach of the small quaint Wong Duean Bay.
There are several beach restaurants available, the vibe is chilled, without the drinking or ******** culture. It’s lovely.
Our welcome was warm, the staff were great and happy to help with our luggage.
Our room is small 16 m² with 2 single beds, some hanging and storage space.
It has a rustic feel to it. There is a fridge which is always welcome, tea and coffee making facilities, which we always appreciate, as well as a safety deposit box & flat screen TV.
The bed and pillow are comfortable but not sumptuous.
Towels are provided and I would say are of typical island quality.
However the shower was an issue, obviously water is limited on the island and taking a hot shower was challenging but actually having a good supply of water either in the evening or morning was very hit and miss. Missed more often, it gets frustrating when you can’t have an adequate shower, that’s one of the reasons we move about frequently.
Breakfast is of limited quality but there are a variety of options including cereal, hot food both western & Thai.
Toast cereal and tea & coffee.
The pool area was hardly used during our stay so a nice quiet retreat from the beach was available.

Great service & nice clean room. The staff was super helpful and the room was two thumbs. Not located on the beach but it's just a short walk (about 4 minutes). The village is also a short walk (on the way to the beach; same direction/same road), so there are many restaurants / shops / places for massage etc... Also, can rent a motorbike from the resort easily if you want to drive the island & see other beaches. Good breakfast & good swimming pools.
Would definitely recommend!

Pengguna TetamuGreat location on the beach. The beds are comfortable and the air con works perfectly. One thing to keep in mind, very rarely will they replace your empty toilet paper roll. I have stayed here twice and had to go to the lobby to ask for a new roll for a total of three times. I suggest stopping by the lobby when you come back from the beach (after housekeeping has been done), so you don't go to your room and find out there's no toilet paper the hard way. They will also ”usually ” replace your towels, but this time they just took them without giving a fresh ones in return. While this may all be bad for some, I now know what to ask for in advance, so I wouldn't mind staying again.
