The stars of this hotel are the staff particularly the manager, Act, who could not be more helpful. She made everything about my stay easy and stress free. The hotel itself is just across the quiet island road from the beach. Here there is white sand and crystal clear water. To the left is the busier section with all the normal beach activities together with bars and restaurants. It is just a 15 min walk into town this way. To the right the beach is quieter. If you continue along the beach to the right you can follow the coast path which ‘hops’ from bay to bay making for a pleasant walk. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable. You are supplied with everything you need including snacks, beach bag, wet bag, beach towel and beach mat. I had a wonderful stay at Green Bay and thoroughly recommend it.

This is a good basic stay fir the money paid, I think around £25 per night? I feel kind of lucky I had bungalow 36 which was right opposite the reception but having said that I didn’t have any privacy because the double glazed patio doors only had curtains which when open everyone could see in meaning when I was there I had to have the curtains closed and the lights on. Which was a shame as a simple set of sheet curtains would have solved this issue. Having said that the noise was limited I expected it to be noisy but Toks bars did keep the music low and I think it went off quite early too. I had a terrace eith bench exterior lighting and table, bin and broom to sweep up sand and a thick bathroom mat towel to dust sand off feet when entering the bungalow. Inside the bungalow was a fridge a safe wardrobe kettle urn two mugs two glasses, 2 dental kits, shampoo conditioner shower gel, 2 x towels, 1 small roll of toilet roll, 1 x bar of soap. You get towels, wash kit loo roll left on your terrace each night of your stay except the night before you leave. I think if you want your room done over you ask reception. The room was clean though the bathroom appeared clean but could do with a deep clean as sink overflow was black and the air con piping was dusty as was the extraction fan. You also got a bath mat in the bathroom and a bin. The loo had a bidet facet. There was a slight sewage smell in the morning on my second day but it’s an island and sure their sewage collection piping is probably quite fragile. I walked to the hotel when I arrived and I think you walk past the sewage works/garbage tip it smells horrendous 🤣. Overall I would stay here again as it’s a good location not sure if I would want to be in a bungalow at the top of the hill though. the beach is across the road, taxi open vans pick up from outside, there’s a cafe, snack places, restaurant bar across the road Toks on the beach and in front of that is a set of beach loungers run by Ed she charges 100 baht. The beach is beautiful a little litter here and there and around the island as a whole but I think you’d find that a lot of places these days, it’s very sad.

The Highlights: 1. Prime Location: You couldn’t ask for a better spot. It’s a short walk to the beach, and there are 7-Elevens everywhere for snacks and supplies. Plus, catching a songthaew to explore the rest of the island is incredibly easy from here. 2. Room: The room smelled wonderful when I walked in. The room is quite spacious, as is the bathroom. There is a balcony where it’s a huge plus! It’s perfect for hanging up wet clothes and swimwear after a day at the beach. 3. Peace & Quiet: Despite being right in the center of the island’s busiest beach area, it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful at night. 4. The Wi-Fi was strong and consistent throughout the stay—great if you need to stay connected. 5. Very fast Check-in/out The Lowlights: 1. Lack of Housekeeping: This was the biggest letdown. During the stay, they don't clean the rooms, change the towels, or refill the shampoo and body wash dispensers. You basically have to manage your own upkeep. Be sure to pack your own toiletries! There are no free toothbrushes or toothpaste provided. 2. Customer Service: The receptionist was unfortunately not very accommodating or friendly during that time when we arrived. It definitely didn't make me feel particularly welcome.

The staff were lovely. Located right in front of the public transport queue making it the best to get around. Noise cancellation in-room ain’t that great but still very comfortable stay for the price. It feels very new, as well.

The location is right opposite to beach with their restaurant in between. Rooms are like nice and clean but the orientation is like a dormitory with walls between the rooms and glass partition n door at room entrance. So if someone is looking for beach side location is great but for families looking for more amenities and common areas in the hotel then it does disappoint. The evening is pleasant with the extension of restaurant on beach like all other resorts do on the beach.

Oh Taley Resort is a really great place to stay if you’re looking for calm, quiet, and relaxation. The atmosphere is peaceful, and it’s perfect for escaping noise and stress. The location is very nice, close to the sea, and the overall environment is clean and well maintained. The swimming pool is excellent, and the service around the resort is friendly and professional. Everything is well organized, and you can truly enjoy your time here. The only small thing that could make the experience even better would be adding a coffee machine for guests. Even a simple option selling coffee for 40–50 baht would be very convenient, especially since 7-Eleven is a bit far. This would be a great added value for guests. Overall, everything is great: location, pool, service, and peaceful vibe. I highly recommend Oh Taley Resort and would happily stay here again.

Great location on the beach. The beds are comfortable and the air con works perfectly. One thing to keep in mind, very rarely will they replace your empty toilet paper roll. I have stayed here twice and had to go to the lobby to ask for a new roll for a total of three times. I suggest stopping by the lobby when you come back from the beach (after housekeeping has been done), so you don't go to your room and find out there's no toilet paper the hard way. They will also ”usually ” replace your towels, but this time they just took them without giving a fresh ones in return. While this may all be bad for some, I now know what to ask for in advance, so I wouldn't mind staying again.

The place is price worthy for its location near the beach. The breakfast not the best but ok. Dinner and lunch is better and the pic shows the view from the restaurant.

Удобное месторасположение. Очень влажно, если не включать кондиционер, но если включать на долго кондиционер, то становится холодно, так как стены из бетона. Есть дверь наподобие балконной, она открывается, но воздух не всегда хороший и чистый, так как идёт пар от кондиционера, от которого становится плохо и кружится голова, а так же появляется кашель. Обслуживание хорошее, всё чисто, в случае чего просто нужно позвонить по номеру телефона и попросить убрать номер. При заезде так же звонить и говорить что подошёл и готов к заселению. Можно посидеть на диванчике в холле и почитать книгу или на крыльце и покушать. Так же если интересно цены на острове дороже чем в городе и в севен элевен тоже добавляются пару бат к товарам. Трансфер удобный, можно попутешествовать без проблем по острову, везде доставят, есть так же моторбайки. Если будете маршрут сами пешком прокладывать, то есть семья из 20 собак, их кормят и они сыты, но пожалуйста будьте осторожны.

Скромный отель, но все необходимое есть, шампунь мыло, завтрак не входил, но это даже плюс, можно поспать до 12 и выехать из отеля позавтракать рядом за 150 бат. Есть терраса . Кровать удобная. Кондиционер. Все понравилось. Цена соответствует.
