CCooldayThe Samed Resorts group offers the guests a free boat shuttle service to Samed Island (even free car parking), which I find very convenient. The staff helped us loading the baggage to the boat and from the boat to the hotel. Ban Ploy sea is located right next to the pier with a few minutes walk. The check-in went smoothly. The staff was so helpful and friendly. He even offered me an upgrade room with the sea front view for 2 nights. The room was clean and comfy. At the back of the resort is a log house cafe, offering tasty cakes and fancy drinks. I feel really relaxed lying on a private beach. In the evening we were so lazy to go out, just had dinner at the hotel‘s restaurant every night. It was not cheap but everything was delicious. Overall, we are very satisfied. Highly recommended!

PPengguna TetamuWe booked the room with the breakfast included for 2 adults because our daughter doesn’t wake up for breakfast and doesn’t really like what’s on offer for breakfast. Upon check in we were charged for her breakfast anyway even I explained she will not come for breakfast. In the morning we decided to give a go. The breakfast is nothing to be excited about. Not much choice and the quality of food is very low. Even fried eggs are over cooked to a rubbery consistency and cold. Scrambled eggs looks horrible. Coffee tastes bad (sour). There is no option to book without breakfast. The room is tired and needs a good cleaning. All the furniture is moulded. Linenswith marks on them. I really dont understand the price of 250 usd per night for this service. In the room they offer used rubber flip flops wouldn’t dare to wear it ashtray not cleaned from the previous customers - we don’t smoke

From the ao prao pier to kho Samet, the boat ride was smooth and when we got there, unfortunately our rooms were not ready but changed in the toilet and was able to enjoy the beach and pool while we waited.
Walking distance to the down town where lots of restaurants.
Hotel's restaurant was good. Delicious breakfast with many choices of bread, cheese, fruits and hot dishes. Everything was quite tasty. Dinner at the beach club Winnks was good, too.Live band performance, on site fire show. Foods were good and drinks were amazing.
Maybe it is because of the season we traveled but the waves were quite strong and water did not seem clear.
I have been to ao prao beach before and I believe for a family with small children, I recommend there.
If you are group of friends looking for excitement, maybe here is better.

PPengguna TetamuA good place where the price matches the quality. The hotel is a complex of small separate bungalows located on a hill, so you need to walk up some stairs to get to your room.
The room has everything you need: a bed, a bathroom, tea and coffee and a terrace. It really feels like living in the jungle - you can hear birds singing all the time, and we even saw geckos among the flowers.
The staff was polite and unobtrusive. They brought clean towels, toiletries, and drinking water every day. The sea is very close, just across the road, and there is a nice sandy beach nearby. I would give this place a solid 4 out of 5. There were a few small issues, but they were solved quickly. For example, the shower didn’t work when we checked in, but it was fixed soon after.
The location is very convenient: it’s between the more lively area with cafés and restaurants, and quieter, more secluded beaches.

PPengguna TetamuLovely resort and the rooms are so aesthetically beautiful, the resort is located in main beach, Sai Kaew beach and so convenient that 7-eleven and restaurants are in walking distance.
Also very near to Nadan pier as well.
Have to give additional 200 bahts if you use bath tap.
Overall, good stay here.

CChris 王墨迪Overall the hotel has certainly fallen over the past 3 years and it’s pretty sad to see this happen, if you’re a single traveler or a couple I would recommend but I couldn’t recommend the hotel to families in its current state.
Management: Great management they listen to complaints, they are responsible and try to solve all issues. Sadly the management don’t have so much to work with these days.
General staff: A large percentage of the staff are Cambodian and living in limbo with the current issues between both countries. With the exception of one or two Cambodian staff most are either depressed and miserable or damn right rude, unhelpful and disrespectful. (The floor manager explained this himself)
Rooms: Nice and simple rooms the do the job but aging fast. The rooms look good but are not high quality materials and it shows the labor and material quality is low and cheap. Showers have virtually no pressure when the hotel is busy and the water won’t reach higher than luke-warm.
Location: I have to say it’s one of the best locations on the island when considering location and facilities and I guess this is their main selling point. They have shops, bars, restaurants, coffee shop and more.
Patrons: Most of the year the majority of visitors are going to be Tha and Asian, they are respectful, they have manners and they will be great to holiday alongside. During Christmas to New Year there were too many rude Europeans especially Swedish tourists, these tourists camped and took over large areas of the bar and restaurants, they moved around furniture, they were rude and disrespectful to other tourists leaving trash noise and mess wherever they visited. (Staff and management ignored)
Note: This used to be a great hotel and I have continuously visited over the past several years. Unfortunately I have begun to see a degradation of the hotel, the attitude towards western tourists (due to poor behavior of westerners) as well as issues related to the diplomatic issues between Cambodia and Thailand. I due hope this improves in the future.
With new staff or new immigration laws as well as new investment into the hotel it could easily thrive once more.

PPengguna TetamuAt first they could not find the reservation. The room was good, old but wel kept and clean. Aircon worked well but the shower had no pressure. When we mentioned this at reception it was fixed within hours. The gardens were cut but the gardener left all cuttings whete they were so we cleaned our own path. The coffee and teacans were so dirty we did not even toych them, but thete was a coffeemachine that worked slowly as well. Bad coffee though🙃. Very good yoghurt, fresh baked/fried eggs and a choice of asian food. Only melon for fruit and juice was the usual sugarwater. Chairs with parasols and good matrasses on a great part of the beach, and although it was never clean of leaves, there were some guys shoving some leaves around every morning. This place has a lot going for it, but, like the rest of Samed, it lacks enthusiasm and selfrespect. High prices are okay, but only if the standard is a bit higher. There is trash EVERYWHEREon Samet, and I mean stinky big piles of black bags, matrasses and plastic bottles. Behind one beach where we walked to, it smelled as there was a corpse lying around. That was not at our beach luckily, but Samed is small and I think things can be ran a lot better with the amount of money coming in.

SSunéKWe had such a lovely stay at The Salil Hotel Sukhumvit 57 – Thonglor and would absolutely come back again.
The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Thonglor, close to great restaurants, cafes, and nightlife, but still peaceful enough to relax properly. It made getting around Bangkok very easy.
The hotel itself is beautiful, well maintained, and everything was spotless. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, which made our stay feel effortless.
Breakfast was definitely a highlight. There was a great variety of options, fresh ingredients, and something for every mood. It was the perfect way to start each day.
Most importantly, the staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and always helpful. From check in to check out, they made us feel welcome and taken care of.
Overall, such a great experience. Comfortable, convenient, and genuinely enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again.

MMaria Z. from Canada.If you are picky, need private beach and a big swimming pool - this hotel is not for you. It is a nice small hotel, with small pool, great breakfast. There are rooms that can fit 4 people. It’s a 20 second walk to the beach, you can rent a beach chair or lay on the towel. This hotel only servers breakfasts, there is no lunch or dinner, but you can always get good food at Samed Villa Restaurant. It’s a pleaser stay for several days, lots of greenery on this hotel property, it’s small but cozy.

It stated sea view room you can only see a little bit just a heads up for anybody staying here. Would stay here again in the future.
