Quite honestly, the best hotel I've ever stayed in. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night and I can't wait to come back. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a garden suite and were welcomed with a glass of bubbly on arrival. A concierge assisted with our suitcases and the welcome from the reception, door staff and concierge team was wonderful. The cleaning staff were lovely and the room and hotel were cleaned to an incredibly high standard. Security around the hotel is superb, we were visiting from the UK and felt completely safe. We were checked in and out of the car park and the security and car park staff were friendly and helpful. The room was perfect, the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in and the bathroom was stunning. The toiletries were very high standard. .Our terrace was beautiful and we sat relaxing, looking at the gardens. The bar area is great, we enjoyed a drink just taking in the stunning decor. Breakfast was delicious, everything you could wish for. We had a walk around the pool area afterwards and next time we stay I'll book a spa treatment. We walked over to Monte****** during our stay, it's great to not need the car, so that we could both enjoy a drink with our dinner. I can't wait to come back! I've found my Joburg 'go to' hotel. It was such a lovely stay. The location is perfect as there is so much to do within the ****** that you don’t have to travel far. It was an awesome experience, very lovely and friendly staff! I would highly recommend it. Oh, and the breakfast was great!

The bed was very comfortable. Food was delicious. Room service was excellent. The waiters were friendly especially Dodzo.He was almost occupied but was able to serve all his customers on time. The only thing that the hotel needs to improve is to always have jug of water than buying from the kitchen. i saw lot of guests coming with water from the shops.

From the security at the main gate, main desk, restaurant staff to house keeping, always greeting, smiling and making sure everything is 100%. Rooms were comfortable & food was well prepaired and tasty. Will definately be back.

The Mercure Hotel in Randburg is our go-to hotel in Johannesburg. Excellent customer service and comfortable rooms. It's also conveniently located at the new Ferndale on Republic shopping center, where there are great shopping and dining options.

The Mint Hotel 84 gets the basics right with clean, comfortable rooms and friendly service staff. My room was a standard double with a queen bed, it had everything I needed including a desk, coffee maker, and good water pressure in the shower. The bed was fairly comfortable and the room was cleaned promptly every day. The breakfast spread in the dining area had a variety of options including cereals, toast, fruit, pastries, and eggs. The food was of average quality and freshness, nothing exceptional but sufficient to start the day. The service staff at the front desk and concierge were pleasant, helpful, and efficient whenever I had questions. They provided recommendations for restaurants and attractions in the area. The hotel has an outdoor pool and fitness centre, although I did not use the fitness centre during my stay. The hallways and public areas were well maintained and clean. Overall, the Mint Hotel 84 provides good, no-frills accommodations in a convenient location for exploring Katherine. The price point is fair for the quality you get, making it a solid choice for standard business or leisure travel.
