Foi uma das piores experiências no Booking que tivemos. O apartamento não estava limpo, não tinha copos, panelas (as que 2 tinham estavam sujas), não tinha esponja para lavar a louça, o apartamento estava alagado por conta da chuva e ninguém veio limpar… nós que tivemos de tirar toda a água! A recepção estava também alagada, impedindo a circulação das pessoas! Para completar: brigas nos apartamentos à noite, som alto, churrascos nas varandas (que deixavam o apartamento cheio de fumaça). Ninguém para nos ajudar! Além disso, tem um bar na frente do apartamento e o ruído vai até muito tarde! O apartamento é um forno e o ventilador (só um para dois quartos e uma sala) não é suficiente para circular o ar. Fizemos dezenas de pedidos de ajuda. Não nos respondiam. Somente no dia seguinte, pediram desculpas e nos tentaram impressionar com uma garrafa de vinho. Já era tarde! O atendimento é péssimo! NÃO SE HOSPEDE AQUI! Vai ganhar um dinheiro que poderia gastar em outros lugares melhores! Não confie em nada do que lê ou vê nas mídias sociais.

I have lived here for how many months? honestly the management Has a wrong way of treating their guest long stay or not.. I mean I was paying 650 everyday and never once did they remember to send a cleaner..don’t pay up by 10:41am and then cleaner comes after 10days and she isn’t supposed to clean?! For a place I have stayed at the same apartments for 4months?

The Sandton Garden Court is a gracious hotel located next to Mandela Square. An outstanding buffet breakfast is provided daily. The staff at the front desk helpfully arranged a private tour of Johannesburg for us (cost about 2000 Rand or $100 for two of us) and it was fabulous. When my partner fell ill with a viral infection, the hotel's on-call doctor came to our room, diagnosed the problem and provided medications for symptom relief. We are very grateful and impressed with this hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by its excellent location, top-notch service, and overall hospitality.
The hotel's location was simply outstanding. It was conveniently situated, allowing easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. Whether it was exploring the city or embarking on a safari adventure, the hotel's central location made it a perfect base for my travels.
The service provided by the hotel staff was truly exceptional. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive assistance throughout my stay, I felt genuinely cared for. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met, including a special favor of allowing me to leave my suitcase while I was away on the safari. We were totally blown away by the overall experience of staying at Burkleigh House. A tranquil gem, conveniently located with top-notch hospitality. The rooms are tastefully decorated and incredibly comfortable. Great desk space to work from. The staff are warm, friendly, and helpful. The breakfasts are very impressive and so tasty. The peace and tranquility of the garden with its abundant birdlife is such a bonus. We will definitely be back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this spot.

OK, so let's start with the 'not-so-nice stuff'. Look, it is what it is. It's a 3-star (at best), hotel that was converted from apartments into a 'suite' experience hotel. It's cheap as chips, so with that in mind you're obviously not going to expect anything flash. The towels, while clean, could certainly do with being replaced. Overall, a fresh coat of paint would not hurt and the kettle was abysmal - we actually ordered our own kettle from 60/60 - the one in the room had not been descaled in...well, ever. It's very basic accommodation, the telephone in the room didn't work and the extractor above the stove was diabolical. Now, for the good stuff. The staff are AMAZING. So friendly and super helpful, check-in was breezy and even though we arrived a full 2 hours early, we hardly had to wait for our room to be ready. Aside from what I already mentioned, the room itself was SPOTLESS and that made up for the 'niggly' bits. The location is great, just a few minutes from the airport and close to the areas we had business in. Honestly, for what one pays for this place, there are no complaints. You can order from 60/60/ Uber Eats/Mr Delivery and there is a restaurant on site - although we didn't order from them, we left early and came back fairly late so it was just simpler to order in - and they delivered to the room. So all in, if you're not in Jozi for a holiday, then this place is kind of ideal. Internet was fast enough and complimentary and as we literally only used it as a base for our dealings in the big city, it was more than adequate.

PPengguna TetamuMy husband and me, we traveled to ZA for the first time. Our first stop was at The Ashford guesthouse. That was actually a perfect choice! :-) I really loved their fittings and furnishings on the whole property. Everything was so lovely! We stayed there for 4 nights. The staff has been unbelievable great, too! As we are booth vegans, it was difficult to find the right accommodation. But the guesthouse staff is open minded to create a vegan breakfast every morning. It was delicious! The situation of the guesthouse is good, as you have the chance to walk to the Rosebank Mall close by. There, you can find lots of shops and restaurants. All in all, we definitely recommend this place! As we won’t make it to the Kruger NP this time, we definitely have to come back and we’ll book this guesthouse again! :-) Thanks for everything!

NNcubeThe service was exceptional from the moment I stepped into the hotel. Was welcomed by the Potter who took my bags from the car and accompanied me to the reception area for my check in. The concierge was amazing all the way to my room. The environment is serene and very clean. I enjoyed the food which is reasonably priced as well.

We used the Gautrain to get to the hotel from the airport, it was an easy and safe walk with luggage to the hotel along a pedestrian only street. Check in staff were very friendly and offered us a much needed cool welcome drink. Room was wonderful, AC was working and we each had a generous bottle of water, if there was any load shedding that night we did not notice it. We decided to dine in the hotels Proud Mary restaurant after noticing it seemed to be the busiest restaurant on the street, we were not disappointed, we had an excellent dinner and breakfast the next morning. Door staff stored our luggage the next day as we toured around a bit, and when we returned to pick it up they offered us a lift to the Gautrain station in a golf cart, which was really appreciated. This hotel and restaurant exceeded our expectations, wished we had time to spend another night.

I was thoroughly looking forward to this stay as I have not stayed in this hotel before and it had been on my list, check in took quite long, which didn't bother me initially but ended up being a compounding factor after everything else, we had booked online and it took close to an hour for us to get checked in and given our room key, we used this time to look around.
When we finally got to our room, we quickly left everything and went to the mall then had dinner, we got back relatively late and only upon getting back did we notice the bed was 2 single beds pushed together, however we booked and paid for a delux king room, needless to say I spent the duration of the evening falling through the 2 beds as I was trying to cuddle my lady, so I didn't get much sleep to say the least.
When we got up in the morning I quite badly needed a coffee to wake me up after the night I had and Lo and behold, the coffee machine was not working!
By this point you can imagine the frustration.. so we got dressed and went down for breakfast, the process of simply getting a coffee took close to 40 minutes, let alone the food arriving! We actually ended up getting up and leaving because we had plans for the day and did not expect to wait over an hour for our breakfast to arrive! The cold food that was available at the buffet was very dry as well but we scoffed it down and went on our way, it was only while we were walking out that the juice we ordered when we arrived was beginning to make its way to our table, so we were given the bottle and we went on our way
We mentioned the incorrect room as well as the coffee machine to the lady at the checkout desk, to which I was reassured that next time we stay it will be nice
I can very confidently confirm that there will not be a next time from us, as we do expect a certain service when checking into a 5 star hotel and paying the price that comes along with it
On a positive note, the concierge was helpful with taking our luggage to the room
Such a pity for a lovely perfectly located place to put such little effort into the quality they provide

Everything went very well, and I highly recommend this Guesthouse with its welcoming, friendly, warm and smiling staff, always available to meet any need.
I had initially booked a room for only 5 days, I had no problem extending this stay directly on site.
The rooms are clean and well appointed, as are the collective areas. Very pretty interior courtyard. Breakfast is generously prepared by Prisca, incredibly kind and with whom it is very easy to exchange and share (I miss your smile :) ).
The street and the neighborhood are calm and safe, we are close (10 min walk) to activities / bars / restaurants on 7th.
I could not have asked for better for a first experience in Johannesburg.

PPengguna TetamuThis is a very nice, business-style hotel in Sandton, an upmarket area of Johannesburg. Only stayed one night but mostly positive experience. Clean rooms, all the facilities you’d expect and easy to get to the local mall and Nelson Mandela Square on the free shuttle bus. Would have given a 5 but the check-in process was chaotic. 9 of us staying booked a year ago and they seemed to be allocating our rooms there and then. 5 rooms in different parts of the hotel was disappointing. Also the shower being a window to the rest of the room so your Co-occupants can see you showering was interesting and ridiculous that this was allocated to our two chicken aged 20 and 17. No smiles or friendliness from the reception staff sorting this and it took a long time to check us in.

DDeborah-AnneI have stayed at the Quatermain before, and I am happy to say that the whole experience was once again just lovely! I had arrived VERY early on my check-in day and the staff made sure that I had a room well before the scheduled check-in time AND they upgraded me too!
The staff at the hotel are friendly, helpful and all round just a delight!! Even with the ongoing challenges that loadshedding (scheduled power outtages) brings to the smooth operation of any business.
The gardens are immaculate and tranquil, and it is unbelievable to think you are in the middle of everything with the peace and quiet that pervades.
The little bistro / restaurant's menu is thankfully limited, as it means that the quality can be assured and anything that is made tastes deliciously homemade. The evening buffet is very good value for money!
Just a small note that due to loadshedding, sometimes the email/booking system gives some issues - so don't forget to just follow up once booked :)

The breakfast was good with many of selection for choice.
The hotel's location was also excellent, with easy access to the centre of Johannesburg.
Overall, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay with excellent facilities and a convenient location.
