給我們的房間配了一個户外大陽台，朋友的房間雖然沒有陽台配了一個會客廳，比普通標間舒服很多，酒店前台很熱心，幫我們預約了去國家公園的司機，去的時候通過郵件預約接機的服務也很好，早餐自助很豐盛，晚餐我點了烤豬排，相當美味，小費包含在餐費中。美中不足的是回程預約了酒店到機場的車後司機問我們要了60刀，而前台之前跟我們説衹要35刀。

Our stay at the Kigali Serena Hotel was fantastic. Both dinner and the breakfast buffet at the restaurant were excellent. The accommodations were spacious and comfortable. The team provided wonderful service and we loved the surprise rose petals in our room for our honeymoon. Having access to the pool and spa facilities was a great bonus after long overseas travel. Would highly recommend!

We stayed here twice for one-night stays before and after our visit to Five Volcanoes and the gorillas. The hotel is very comfortable - the bed felt lovely, and the shower had nice water pressure and plenty of warm water. Dinner and breakfast were included in our stay (other than drinks, even soda, which was a bit of a hassle when we checked out). The food was served mostly buffet style and was very good quality - we especially enjoyed the variety of breakfast options. There wasn't anything really within walking distance; we had to drive for our tour of downtown and other sights in Kigali, but there was a convenient ATM just across the street.

For a hotel charging £200 per night, the room was dismal. From a misaligned toilet seat to broken cupboard handles, dirty kettle, bed head and carpet, this was disappointing. Although staff were charming, it took ages to get anything fixed- getting a kettle took two hours! Kigali is fast becoming a tourist destination- it’s a lovely country with very friendly people but this hotel was a let down. For our conference, we had to move to another hotel because the internet did not work.

We have been visiting Rwanda for over a decade and despite all the new hotels that have come up, we have always stayed at the Serena Hotel. The hotel has great dining, spa , pool and an excellent facility for hosting events. Strongly recommend the hotel.

a city center hotel that's tops. Spacious rooms with great amenities. Quiet location. Terrific and extensive food bar that offers everything imaginable. You can sit outside and overlook the courtyard and pool that is surrounded by lovely plants. Attentive staff. when we returned to this hotel a week later and had lunch the music was way too loud and made it almost impossible to have a conversation.

The crew were very good, the room was very good, as was the restaurant. However, another colleague and I ended up being overcharged. I've sent 3 emails to hotel staff asking for an explanation / refund of the extra charge, and no one has cared to respond. I've been waiting for over a month for a response, and I've included several emails of staff without any response. The amount wasn't trivial and it seemed to indicate an extra night stay that I was only able to identify based on my calculations.

This is a pretty and comfortable hotel in a nice location. The room is large and pleasant. The staff is kind and accommodating and grateful that you are visiting Rwanda. While we were there, a pianist was performing near the lobby, which was quite lovely.

This place is magnificent. It is beautiful a short walk from the very safe city center of Kigali. We walked down there to get an idea of the city and were amazed how friendly the locals were ,how safe and clean the city is - a real gem. The hotel buffet breakfast and at night was delicious with incredible variety , the rooms spacious and very comfortable . The staff were all excellent . A 5 star feel to this hotel and its beautiful grounds .

The hotel is in a good location for business in Kigali. The restaurants were good; the breakfast buffet was large with plenty of great choices. We had dinner by the pool and the service from our server Enock was attentive and professional. The fish was fresh and well prepared. Only negative is the shower was in need of updating .

It's always a treat to stay at the splendid Kigali Serena Hotel. I loved my interactions with all the staff there. Precious, the smiling breakfast chef, made me a fabulous omelette. At lunchtime, she enjoyed introducing me to various African foods that I wasn't familiar with. Rhoda, Sandra and Ines pampered me back to life in the Serena Hotel's Maisha Spa after a long overnight flight. Everyone commented how happy and relaxed I looked after my two night stay (and 4 hours of massages!) If you want company / or directions on a morning run, call reception the night before: Karim from the Maisha Spa gym met me and three other guests at 6.30am for an hour's run around Kigali before breakfast. You'll need it - the breakfast spread is vast! It's hard to resist the superb croissants, 6+ types of fresh juice, and of course the hot dishes.

Wonderful stay. The rooms were very beautiful and spacious. The bathroom has very good amenities and the hotel pays attention to the environment. The bed was so comfortable and many services are available such as room service, etc. Wifi is perfect, no issues. The hotel has a very nice swimming, pool, spa, Gym, etc. The breakfast was exceptional, with wonderful, good, fresh fruit, and everything you wanted. I also booked a massage at the spa, which was perfect. The prices are also good. The spa reservation was punctual and very good and relaxing. The amenities were well maintained.

The Lady at the reception was so arrogant and unpleasant that I told her she was so and that I would be looking for a room in another hotel before leaving. Additionally, when I presented her with my Platinum Prestige Club card she didn't even seem to know what it was. When you have spent enough in the Serena hotels to accumulate some 75,000 bonus points, it's quite a disappointment.

The Serena is an excellent hotel that lives up to the five star expectation (also comparing internationally). Friendly staff providing great services … although not smiling a lot. The pool area is an oasis in the busy city centre. Food in the restaurants is great though a little pricey conpared to other hotels - not compared to European standards though. There a Serena approved taxi’s always waiting that can bring you to the city or to the airport (35 USD for an airport transfer).
