Hotel berhampiran Dream Catchers Events, Koh Samui

I nearly changed my holiday because of the negative reviews that i read here, however i was so pleased i didn't and went with my gut instinct. I have just returned from the most wonderful relaxing holiday at the Mai Samui beach resort. The hotel has been built in a traditional Thai style, on a quiet peninsular of Samui. So if you are looking for a glossy high rise concrete soulless block with entertainment and plenty of bars surrounding you, then this is not the place for you. There are a few local restaurants and a coffee shop only a few minutes walk away. With lively Bophut, with the Fisherman's market and Nathon are only a short taxi ride away (or free bus from hotel every day). The hotel has a variety of rooms to stay in, a couple of restaurants and a great beach bar with an extensive cocktail menu. The staff are all amazing, friendly and helpful. The hotel is currently having a few renovations but so has everyone else. Hotels and bars across the world have all suffered being locked down for several years due to Covid 19, and have only just re-opened, so yes they all need to do a bit of catch up. The renovations did not impact us in any way, and did not spoil our holiday one bit. I chose not to do all inclusive and opted for breakfast only. There was plenty of choice every morning. The egg chef was always busy with everyone's individual orders. One very small negative is the lack gluten free options or milk alternatives, but we worked around it. The beach is not your usual tropical lounging sandy spot. This is a very shallow tidal bay with some rocks and corals. It is great for a low tide walk, but not swimming. To make up for this the hotel has a couple of large well thought out swimming pools. and there is a raised sandy area to the front of the beach with plenty of sunbeds and chairs to lounge on. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel if you prefer a quite resort but with easy access to livelier towns. If i have the chance i would definitely come back again. Myself snd my Wife have stayed at many Four Seasons around the World and this Hotel is right up there amongst our favs The Location the Hotel the Staff and the Management Wow what a wonderful place. Massive shout out to Branka one of the Directors of FS Koh Samui, so well loved and respected by all staff and guests, became a great friend by the end of the Holiday. We stayed for 7 nights as a couple. All in all we were very satisfied. The rooms are very spacious, quiet and clean. The outside area is very well maintained and you can spend a lot of time at the pool. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. We were allowed to stay an hour longer in the room on request on the day of checkout, which was very pleasant. Unfortunately, I still have to deduct one star because we were not completely satisfied with the breakfast. When I was in the code for the first time in 2016, there was still a breakfast buffet and you could eat your fill. Meanwhile, an a la carte breakfast is served, where you can choose one single dish. The portions are unfortunately ridiculously small, so that one is not even close to being full, which other guests in our presence have also criticized. Not even my girlfriend (55 kg) was full. For these tiny portions, the prices are really a cheek. For that money, you can get 3 people full at one of the local food markets! The second point of criticism concerns the gym. I used it daily and was very happy with the equipment and cleanliness. Unfortunately, half the days there were no towels, no water or no drinking cups for the water dispenser. Of course, this is not a big problem, but given the high prices that the hotel calls, you should expect more… However, we still liked it very much and we would come again!

Absolutely amazing hotel! Would 100%recommend staying here as I can name no negatives. The staff were so friendly and everything was very clean- with water always topped up in the fridge. The reception clerk spoke great English and was so joyful, he also organised a taxi for us - the hotel is close enough (20 minutes drive) to the main ferry port and the ferry port to Koh Tao and Koh Pha-ngan.The internet was good enough for me to work and it was very sound proof. The little bungalows give you a sense of independence. The pool is great! Again, very clean and well maintained. Everything was picture perfect and I’m a great location- 20 meters to the c-mart convenience shop and 30 meters to the pristine beach! Loads of cheap and delicious restaurants close by. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great stay on a luxury escape deal, came with daily free cocktails, daily breakfast and a choice of lunch or dinner (3 course meal). Rooms were great. Lunch was brilliant , as was the cocktail. Dinner wasn’t amazing, but good given it was included in the package. Would recommend choosing the 3 course lunch over the 3 course dinner. Would recommend choosing the ground floor rooms, can walk straight into the pool. Staff were very attentive. Sunset was incredible. Note, very warm in Thailand in April/May, so pool was quite warm too. Overall, great stay and good value for money.

Le Kanok Buri est un bon hôtel sa localisation excentré vous permettra d'être ”au calme*” et en bord de plage. * il y as pas mal de nuisances sonores liées aux insectes et animaux en tout genre. Le restaurant de l'hôtel est bon et dans les prix de l'hôtel à part les cocktail à 300bath que je trouve chère mais ils sont très bon. Venons en aux chambres et chalets les chambre sont vieilles comme la plupart des hôtels Thaïlandais au budget moyens, les chalets sont vieux aussi. Fonctionnalités de la chambre ok mais la sdb as du mal la douche est petite et fonctionne à moitier la baignoire jacuzzi fonctionne mais il faut pas être pressé car faible débit d'eau. Pour le chalet tout pareil sauf que la sdb est plus fonctionnelle mais avec le même débit d'eau. Propreté dans les 2 tout est propre les lits les draps le sol etc seul point faible de leur nettoyage les douches et baignoires montre quelque trace de poussière ou de sable etc. Mon avis personnel c'est un bon hôtel mais juste nettoyer un peu les douches et baignoires.

I’ve stayed in many 5 star places, this place rates very very near the top. The hotel is stunning, rooms luxurious, views breathtaking, pools beautiful. Multiple pools, amazing food, cinema room, billiards room, spa, sauna, massage. The staff and owner are so helpful and friendly. They arranged everything requested and were 5 star service at all times. Highly highly recommend this place for a real taste of luxury and tranquility.

We stayed at three different hotels/resorts for our honeymoon and by far the most memorable experience was during our stay at the IC. The friendly and helpful staff always went the extra step to be helpful and accommodating. We were able to relax and enjoy all of the services that were made available to us, and enjoy having dates at the different picturesque sights throughout the day. In particular, the speed of the services such as requesting a buggy or ordering room service were extremely quick! We would like to thank all of the wonderful staff who worked hard all day to give us such a wonderful experience. In particular Emily at the lobby was extremely helpful and welcoming from the moment we arrived to every time we happened to pass by. Thank you all, for making this once in a lifetime honeymoon truly exceptional. We hope to come again for a longer stay during future anniversaries!

A real gem, tucked away on beautiful Maenam beach and just perfect if you want to be close enough to the main areas but stay in a quiet setting. Rooms are very large and beds are comfortable. Staff are really friendly and informative. The infinity pool is practically on the beach with an abundance of sun loungers both at the pool and on the beach. The beach is superb with a fantastic beach bar next door but very little else. Happy hour happens twice a day at the swim up bar. Breakfast is plentiful and we were well catered for as vegans. We only ate at the hotel on our first night and it was nothing special but the beach bar next door does excellent food! There are a few local bars and restaurants close by but not too many and all very good. You can have a lovely massage on the beach, though slightly more expensive than in the town. Worth it to listen to the waves, just perfect.

Hotel situado numa praia excelente. Água sem pedras, numa atmosfera tropical, com sombras debaixo de coqueiros. Pessoal atento e muito simpático. Quarto excelente, e muito grande! Pequeno almoço podia ser melhor, comparativamente com outros hotéis na zona, mas é serviço num espaço virado para o mar, numa atmosfera muito tropical.
