Normally I avoid bad references, but I can't be silent in this case.
Guests must be careful with this hotel as there is a scam going on. Even though the hotel was fully prepaid online they charged me the same amount at reception with the cash. I lost the payment receipt and the hotel staff (manager ***) consistently refused to resolve the issue and to return the money. He was telling me that it does not matter that I already paid online and that everyone pays at the hotel, you can ask every guest. He was also saying that ***** owes 50k THB to the hotel, this is why they must charge guests directly at the hotel. He was saying a lot of nonsense just not to return the money. He threatened me to kick me out of the hotel even though everything was paid online. Also to call the police if I keep complaining at reception. *** consistently refused to check with accounting if I paid at the hotel. He saw online payment receipts from *********** and my bank card charges but still refused to contact *********** directly to solve. I strongly believe this was not in his interest to return the money.
The hotel reimbursed my money back finally only when I found the lost receipt and when they realized that I was staying in the hotel for a month and not checking out soon.
It took me 12 days to solve the issue. 12 days of ignorance and constant stress. I can definitely say this manager *** ruined my holiday. No excuse from the hotel was given when I found the lost receipt and they finally admit the mistake
Despite of this situation hotel is very nice place to stay. Daily clean ups, very convinient location not far from the beach, big and cozy balcony and swimming pool. Just beware of manager *** or he will rip you off.
