Hotel berhampiran Łąki Stelmachów, Krakow

I arrived at the hotel around 10:00 pm after a long journey - I was greeted with information that the system was down and it was not possible to check me into the room I booked and that I had to wait in the bar area. Fortunately, the complications did not last long, otherwise it would be reasonable to offer at least a glass of water while waiting for the problem to be solved. However, this is a detail compared to the point: in the room I had no way to turn off the fan, which was so loud that I couldn't sleep. I reported the problem at the reception the next day and asked to turn off the fan - I received information that at the moment there is no such possibility, because the person responsible and able to do it is currently not at work. As a solution, I was offered earplugs, which are very uncomfortable for me to sleep in, but as they say ”better than nothing”. I was hoping for a shade of relaxation during my two-day stay, and as a result I left the hotel with a headache. Two nights of sleep deprivation, annoying ”humming” of the fan in the room and the inability to open the window = drama.

We recently stopped at the AC Hotel by Marriot Krakow for a three-day city break. Let’s talk about the positives first… The hotel is in a great location, it is not too far from the city centre but is on the outskirts, a few minutes’ walk from a large green recreational ground which was lovely. A Bolt (Somewhat a European version of Uber) was almost instantly available at the hotel, and we never waited more than four minutes. A Bolt cab into the city was approximately £2.50 which was great too. The hotel is clearly very new, and this shows with its modern design and use of LED ***** lights which look amazing at night-time. The reception area is modern, has free coffee machines (for use between 1000 hours and 1600 hours) and has a bar within, which again, is very nice. The spa was lovely and is included within the price of the room. We visited at approximately 0900 hours, and it was very quiet which was nice, at one point, we were the only people within the spa. Though, don’t allow looks to deceive you. There were some annoyances with the AC Hotel by Marriot Krakow, and I think it is important to raise them. Firstly, the hotel is next to a building site, which is not evident from the pictures of the hotel’s website or online listings. We paid for an upgraded room with a balcony so you can imagine the disappointment when we learnt it was overlooking a very loud and dusty building site – so much so that the balcony was unusable. Secondly, the AC. (Not the name, the air conditioning!). This hotel uses the AC controls which link in with the windows and doors to prevent loss of energy, which is all well and good when it works. Ours seemed to glitch out constantly and as such locked the AC in the off position. We rung reception after spending a few hours in unbearable heat to be told that there was nobody who could help in the evenings and that they’d send someone in the morning. Fine, so we went to bed only to be woken by someone an hour later who said that they had come to look at the AC. We got up whilst the lady, what can only be described as “faffed” with the AC and then shrugged her shoulders and left – without resolving the issue. Now, if we could have opened the window, or the balcony door, to solve the issue then it wouldn’t have been as much as a big deal, yet it was a trade off between unbearable heat or construction site noise and dust. Another annoyance is when we ordered room service. We telephoned down to the bar and asked if they sold “Sauvignon Blanc”. We were told that they did and that it was however much. I asked for two bottles, and they said that they’d send someone up with it. 45-minutes later, the first waitress arrived with a trolley, an ice bucket, two wine glasses and two bottles of Chardonnay. We explained that we had ordered Sauvignon Blanc and that we would be grateful if she wouldn’t mind swapping it for the correct wine. Stayed here for 4 nights in room with additional bed(for 3 people), but stayed alone. Very spacious room, wich i did not expect from budget hotel. Very nice furniture in the room, nice beds. I loved that everything was clean, high quality of room service. It was quite busy at night, but it was because of guests, really annoying, but it was New Year time, so probably most of people came to party. But it is more about guests than hotel. Nice destination, close to Main Railway Station, Rynek Glowny.

Comfy bed, fast wifi, good service. There’s a tablet in the room that controls everything, which is my favourite. The TV support youtube and is very large. Free hot drinks from coffee machine. Only downside is that the room is a bit small.

Nice quiet room really close to the old town. Really convenient with a shop next to the hotel. Recommended if visiting Krakow really happy with my stay there

Checked out after 1 horrendous night due to having absolutely nowhere else to go in a foreign country • Run down • Dirty • Unprofessional • Unsafe • False advertisement It would be safer and cleaner to sleep on the street than to stay here! Checked into room where people were sleeping as we were given wrong set of keys! Dirty carpet, mattress and bathroom the list goes on…. No help or care from staff, response to walking into someone else’s room with room keys for said room was ‘oh maybe they (receptionist who checked us in) were tired’ and endless petty excuses with eye rolling, face pulling and absolutely no care at all from the staff member we spoke to. This hotel literally needs to be shut. After walking in on someone sleeping the anxiety was unbeatable me and my partner were wide awake all night and I was startled by any noise that was made, the locks on the door… what locks?? Your suitcase locks would do a better job. (If I didn’t have to in order to submit review I wouldn’t have clicked 1 star it would have been 0)

Room is clean and cozy. Public space is good. The location is slightly far away from city center but transportation is convenient.

A bit out of town but a nice hotel. Service was great, we had an executive room and the executive lounge was outstanding for breakfast and a drink in the evening before heading into town. I’d really recommend this hotel as long as you don’t mind the walk or text into town.

The location is good which is near to the airport. There are also free airport-transfer services provided. However, the shuttle bus only provided limited spaces (8 person per time) so you have to come earlier to line up.
