Room was reasonably sized for two people, clean, and comfortable. Hotel is in a quiet residential area, but also very conveniently located near a bus stop and a train station. Staff were friendly. Lobby has a vending machine with drinks. The in-room washing machine is a true game changer... we were able to pack lightly thanks to being able to wash our clothes! Keep in mind that there is no dryer, but they provide hangers for drying your clothes.

Spacious hotel rooms considering the usual room size in Japan! I personally love the separated dry & wet bathroom. There’s free flow of hot & cold drinks and bathroom amenities located on the lobby which you can collect everyday! Nijo station is just across the road, you can even see it from the hotel! Friendly & helpful receptionist whenever I need helps! Tips: you can ask the receptionist for luggage transfer service (they will give you a card, you just need to scan the barcode & follow the instructions for reservation), I used it for my luggage transfer to Osaka (currently there’s a promotion where you can use the promo code for free luggage service transfer, for up to first 100 redemption per day). Overall I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Kyoto!

I am absolutely glad we booked this hotel. The main reason we booked this is because there is a washer/dryer in every room. We booked the family room and they are all located at the Anex building. The main building and Anex building are seperated by about 3 blocks. It is just a few seconds walk from the main building to the Anex building. There are no hotel staffs stationed at the Anex building though, so if you need assistance you need to phone them or walk to the main building. There are free coffee machine, tea, ice, hot water and various amenities located at the lobbies of both building. The location of this hotel is a short 5mins walk to the subway station and a 2mins walk to 7-11 convenient storeand 6mins walk to McDonald's and Lawson convenient store. The hotel is beautifully furnished with modern touch to the rustic buidling of Kyoto. The family room that we chose consist of Futons and Modern Beds. There is a humidifier in the room Shower water pressure is very strong Wifi signals are fantastic. TV is at least 46 inch wide Multiple charging ports available even at the headboard section of the beds. Just like other hotels in Japan, you need to stay over a certain number of nights for them to do daily house keeping. However, they do provide changing of towels Daily as long as you stick the magnet label outside your room door before you head off for the day. They just dont make your bed or wash your toilet, etc. The shower, conditioner, etc are of the famous Polar brand. The only thing that i wish to criticise is that the staffs don't speak good English, and i am fully aware that i am in Japan and Japanese don't speak good english, but the hotel staffs being in this industry should at least have a certain degree of basic understanding of English language. I will give an example, I am requesting for new bottle of Shower Soap, they do not understand and had to send a personnel to my room to see what i meant. I am requesting that they change the battery of the safe box in my room due to low battery and they had to transfer the phone call 2 times to finally get what i meant. Just take note that you will need to be patient when speaking to them to get them to understand what your inquiries are. Every staff holds a handheld device for translation purposes though. Besides the slight annoyance due to language barrier, this hotel deserves way more than 3 stars hotel ranking, it felt more like a 4 stars hotel. Absolutely fantastic and deserved praise. I would definitely stay here again in future.

Lokasi dan kemudahan hotel sangat baik, tetapi pembesar suara bomba di tengah malam benar-benar tidak mengambil kira sama ada orang lain tidur atau tidak. Saya dikejutkan pada pukul tiga dan saya tidak dapat meneruskan untuk tertidur. Saya terus ke Kamogawa untuk berlari🏃

hotel is located near train station, stayed there two nights, quiet and comfortable guest room, sophisticated TV system, can do chromcast and watch YouTube and Netflix. lobby floor with Family Mart and Starbucks just round the corner. No parking in the hotel, but next door there is a parking lot, not expensive. hot spring on lobby floor, not big but good for relaxing Staff are nice and communicate in English

Ia terletak di tengah-tengah tiga jalan membeli-belah. Harap maklum bahawa tidak ada tempat letak kenderaan. Di samping itu, kerana tiada meja depan, tiada perkhidmatan pelanggan, yang tidak sesuai untuk orang yang mencari perkhidmatan pelanggan yang sopan. Namun, saya rasa mustahil untuk mencapai harga rendah tanpa kaunter penerimaan tetamu tanpa pengawasan, dan tidak ada ketidakselesaan yang disebabkan oleh era kebersihan yang baru. Penilaian keseluruhan adalah memuaskan.

There are many things to like about this hotel but let me start with the most important- its people. I must give special thanks to the Front Office Manager- Yuki. On one of the nights, I had unfortunately developed a high fever- coming from abroad, I was in an anxious state about the care I may receive or what my next steps should be. All the hospitals in the surrounding area were full and could not accept walk ins. We rang the front desk and the manager Yuki reassured us that he would assist in ensuring I received proper medical attention asap. He made a few calls to his personal network and sure enough within minutes he had secured us a slot at a local hospital, arranging everything for us to ensure we were attended to immediately by the hospital staff and effectively treated. He went out of his way to help arrange the transport and did it all in the most warm, friendly demeanour. Just interacting with him had put me at ease and the extent he went to help was incredible. I had never experienced such personalised care from one of the hotel staff in my life and have stayed at multiple properties both locally and globally- Thank you Yuki, you were truly amazing and I hope to see you in Singapore! Location wise the hotel is situated pretty centrally - you've got access to multiple convenient stores, train station, bus stops and the area is relatively quiet and peaceful. Rooms were spacious enough and clean too.

Berhampiran dengan Pintu Keluar Kyoto Hachijo, lokasinya sangat mudah, dengan akses mudah ke laluan biasa JR, Shinkansen, Kintetsu dan Kereta Bawah Tanah Kyoto. Saya fikir anda boleh meletakkan bagasi anda dahulu, dan kemudian pergi bersiar-siar. Bilik ini sangat selesa sebagai bilik bujang, tetapi saya bimbang bahawa kusyen di samping bantal berbau sedikit seperti bau badan bekas tetamu. Lain-lain sangat bagus, termasuk kemudahan.

Pros : Close to JR Kyoto station, just about 10 mins walk. Hotel looks quite new & very clean Rooms are spacious enough (considering Japan’s standard) Staff are generally friendly and always prompt to offer help. Very extensive breakfast buffet spread, literally one of the best we had before. Definitely worth booking a room package including breakfast. The only downside, the hotel tends to be a little overcrowded and bustling during our stay. It’s great for families but if you are looking for quiet or private getaway, then you may want to consider elsewhere.
