Hotel berhampiran Utano Railway Station, Kyoto

Kami sangat berpuas hati dengan perkhidmatan pelanggan, mandian awam dan sarapan pagi. Walau bagaimanapun, terdapat sangat sedikit tuala di kemudahan ini. I am absolutely glad we booked this hotel. The main reason we booked this is because there is a washer/dryer in every room. We booked the family room and they are all located at the Anex building. The main building and Anex building are seperated by about 3 blocks. It is just a few seconds walk from the main building to the Anex building. There are no hotel staffs stationed at the Anex building though, so if you need assistance you need to phone them or walk to the main building. There are free coffee machine, tea, ice, hot water and various amenities located at the lobbies of both building. The location of this hotel is a short 5mins walk to the subway station and a 2mins walk to 7-11 convenient storeand 6mins walk to McDonald's and Lawson convenient store. The hotel is beautifully furnished with modern touch to the rustic buidling of Kyoto. The family room that we chose consist of Futons and Modern Beds. There is a humidifier in the room Shower water pressure is very strong Wifi signals are fantastic. TV is at least 46 inch wide Multiple charging ports available even at the headboard section of the beds. Just like other hotels in Japan, you need to stay over a certain number of nights for them to do daily house keeping. However, they do provide changing of towels Daily as long as you stick the magnet label outside your room door before you head off for the day. They just dont make your bed or wash your toilet, etc. The shower, conditioner, etc are of the famous Polar brand. The only thing that i wish to criticise is that the staffs don't speak good English, and i am fully aware that i am in Japan and Japanese don't speak good english, but the hotel staffs being in this industry should at least have a certain degree of basic understanding of English language. I will give an example, I am requesting for new bottle of Shower Soap, they do not understand and had to send a personnel to my room to see what i meant. I am requesting that they change the battery of the safe box in my room due to low battery and they had to transfer the phone call 2 times to finally get what i meant. Just take note that you will need to be patient when speaking to them to get them to understand what your inquiries are. Every staff holds a handheld device for translation purposes though. Besides the slight annoyance due to language barrier, this hotel deserves way more than 3 stars hotel ranking, it felt more like a 4 stars hotel. Absolutely fantastic and deserved praise. I would definitely stay here again in future.

Hotel in an excellent location to the main train station. Our room was good size and clean. I would have given it a 4.5 instead for service. I didn’t use the cleaning room service because it was not necessary for 2 nights but getting the extra day amenities was slightly challenging at the Front Desk. Eventually it was provided (after1/2hr) but not as smoothly as the Hotel Metropolitan in Tokyo Ikebukuro.

If I didn't move from the Urbain hotel, which is very close by, I think I will give this hotel a 5 star. However, the two other hotels I stayed before all had onsen public bath, as well as decent laundry service. There is no public bath here, the laundry machines are wildly outdated, and they charge more than other hotels. I saw more foreign guests than in other hotels. Maybe the only thing that's beyond average here is their service.

太秦映画村のイベントに行く為利用しました！ 駅近で部屋は新しく清潔感がありました。 ベッドに高さがあるのでキャリーを広げて使いやすいです。 湯船も広め。 外国人の利用者対応なのかな？シャワーやハンガーなどの位置が少し高めなので背の低い女性は背伸びかな？ ロビーにコーヒーやスープなどのフリードリンクや朝食サービス付きです♪ とても良かったです！

We were a group of 6 people staying at the Hotel Mitsui on a trek through Japan. Suffice it to say, that the group was all pleased that we stayed here. Our initial check in process was a bit bumpy (no tea service) as it was clear everyone was checking into the hotel for a holiday weekend. However, within 30 minutes, we were all on our way to our rooms. Overall, the hotel and the rooms are designed in muted tones and a modern zen vibe. Where other hotels would simply have drywall covered with pictures, the Mitsui has clearly thought about every surface. We were in a room that looked out to the central garden, which is beautiful. The room had a nice long marble bench at the entrance which was nice for putting shoes on or setting things down to pack / unpack. Further in the room, there is a bar area, desk area and a nice long padded bench by the window. Controls for the room are near the bed and you can dim lights or raise and lower blinds with ease. The bathroom is a very clever design with two pocket door entrances, offering a closet area, double sink, a wet room with tub and shower and rom for the toilet. The room for the toilet is wide and very peaceful. Of course, it comes with the fancy Toto Neorest toilet that raises and lowers the seat automatically, has a heated seat, has a bidet feature and more. The shower offers both a hand held and a rain head that with a fine spray. Bathroom toiletries are crafted for the Hotel Mitsui. Of course, robes were available (just ask if you need a different size). Let’s talk about sleeping…. The bed was among the most comfortable that I have ever tried (firm, with just the right amount of softness). Down pillows and a duvet complete the scene. And course, should you not like your pillow, there is a pillow menu. The rooms at the Mitsui are quiet with blackout shades. At night, gentle nightlights illuminate the path to the bathroom. In all, the sleep experience is well thought out and devine. One of the stand out features of the hotel would be the Thermal Springs in the basement. The Thermal Springs are a modern version of a traditional Japanese onsen. Access is open to everyone in the hotel, but the number of people permitted in is managed to in more than 14 people at a time. You have to call ahead to make sure there is space, but in our case, we were always able to get in. Anyone who out touring in Kyoto, should make time in their busy schedule to visit the Thermal Springs between their tours and dinner - it is a great way to wash off the city and relax before dinner - very civilized. This review is particularly fun for me as our stay at the Mitsui ultimately caused us to break up with our travel agent. He was SO insistent that we stay at the Ritz , he could not imagine trying something new like the Mitsui (nor was he willing o have his team check it out). In the end, I feel vindicated, we loved our stay at the Mitsui and would happily return

Spacious hotel rooms considering the usual room size in Japan! I personally love the separated dry & wet bathroom. There’s free flow of hot & cold drinks and bathroom amenities located on the lobby which you can collect everyday! Nijo station is just across the road, you can even see it from the hotel! Friendly & helpful receptionist whenever I need helps! Tips: you can ask the receptionist for luggage transfer service (they will give you a card, you just need to scan the barcode & follow the instructions for reservation), I used it for my luggage transfer to Osaka (currently there’s a promotion where you can use the promo code for free luggage service transfer, for up to first 100 redemption per day). Overall I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Kyoto!

剛到飯店時發生了意外事件，訂單資料是“京都五條利夫馬克斯飯店” 訂單的地圖導航也沒錯，但是到了飯店卻沒有訂房資料，人生地不熟的狀態下、先請飯店人員幫忙確認訂房的地址跟電話都不是他們的、然後再請飯店人員幫忙看地址是哪裡的？然後確認是”二條城西利夫馬克斯飯店“，再請台灣朋友跟網站聯絡確認，確認了資料不正確、希望網站這邊能加強一下、不要再發生類似事件、當下以為要露宿街頭了。 飯店地點離ＪＲ站不遠算是交通便利、也乾淨整潔、雖然是吸菸房入住時也沒有煙味、毛巾有需要更換的話要自己去櫃檯旁邊拿取。

Hotel pertama yang saya tinggal di Kyoto. Lokasinya sangat mudah. ​​Ia sangat dekat dengan Stesen Kyoto. Sangat mudah untuk menaiki bas dan kereta bawah tanah. Sarapan pagi lebih kaya daripada Hotel Ara, tetapi jika anda menganggap keberkesanan kos, saya cadangkan Hotel Ara.
