"Superficial cleaning, there was a “live” cockroach in my bathroom! That's right!!! No room service, you carry your bags, if you order something to eat (very simple and limited menu) you will have to collect it at reception. Room with a musty smell and in the corridors, very dingy carpet with crusts."

"We arrived at the hotel at 10:30 am and asked if it would be possible to check in, but we were told that we could only do so by paying an additional half-day fee. Check-in could only be done after 2:00 pm. We didn't ask about this, but several other hotels have accommodated me in this situation. As for amenities, they gave me a room with two single beds, and I was with my wife. The room was very cramped. The window looked out onto other parts of the hotel, with no view of the street or any nice part of the city. The shower only produced a very small amount of water. I go to Lagoa Santa every year and I won't choose this hotel again."

"Very good quality hotel! Staff were professional, friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant is probably the best food in Lagoa Santa. Location is right next to the lake, beautiful views. The only issues we had: the sheets were not fitted, so you wake up sleeping on the mattress sometimes. The bikes are easy to hire from the hotel too! 🚴 Stay HERE!"
