The hotel itself is incredibly Instagrammable – every corner is thoughtfully designed, and you’ll definitely want to take photos to keep as memories. The décor is stylish and playful, giving the whole place a very unique character.
The rooms are beautifully decorated as well, with a cozy and modern feel. However, the smallest room type can feel a bit tight, especially if you have a lot of luggage or prefer more space.
Access by car is not the most convenient, so it might not be ideal for those who plan to drive around Bangkok. That said, it’s an excellent choice for international travelers, particularly food lovers who want to explore the Ari area and enjoy delicious local eats while staying in a trendy, design-focused hotel.

Ini merupakan kali pertama saya menginap di hostel seorang diri, dan hasilnya sungguh menakjubkan! Tempatnya baharu dan bersih, kakitangannya sangat prihatin terhadap semua tetamu, dan sangat mudah untuk bergerak – betul-betul di sebelah stesen MRT. Rasanya seperti asrama wanita – sangat santai, santai, dan mesra. Saya menempah bilik dengan empat katil dua tingkat (dan bilik mandi en-suite). Memandangkan saya melancong seorang diri, rakan sebilik saya agak pelik, jadi jika anda sensitif terhadap bunyi bising, bilik persendirian mungkin lebih baik. Tetapi jika anda seorang yang tidur ringan (seperti saya), bilik berkongsi memang sesuai, terutamanya kerana harganya berpatutan. Apa yang paling saya sukai ialah tingkat 4, yang mempunyai semua yang diperlukan oleh hostel! Sayang sekali saya hanya menginap satu malam dan tidak dapat menggunakan semuanya! Terdapat ruang makan, ruang membaca, gimnasium, kemudahan dobi, dan ruang solek – semua yang anda inginkan. Satu lagi perkara yang hebat ialah saya tiba agak awal sebelum waktu daftar masuk, dan hostel membenarkan saya menunggu di tingkat 4 atau meninggalkan bagasi saya dan keluar. Mereka sangat membantu tetamu! Saya tidak tahu bagaimana lagi untuk meluahkan rasa terima kasih saya, tetapi saya sangat menyukainya. we stayed for three days between flights to other countries and it was a good base to get a lot of things done. Laundry was on site and was very cheap. We were able to transport and prepare a Bicycle. meals are provided on site including breakfast but you can also get grab deliveries . it is very close to 2 of the mass transit stations one of which they offer transport to. Service is very friendly and excellent. I also appreciated the small gym and meeting the resident cat. There are many areas you can work from too.

Top class hotel with superb view from 14th floor, close to mrt and excellent customer service staff. Limited access to lifts (only 2, plus staff 1 staff service lift) or ability to interchange between the 4 sections of the 400m long hotel in combination with Asian youth chess championships left us stranded trying to get in and out at times. Further complicated by the lifts not managing to haul more than 7 people in a 1000kg capacity lift??? This needs fixing.Good on-site facilities tho, maccas, 7-11 various restaurants.

Convenient Location by the Yellow Line, but Avoid Rooms Facing the Station
The hotel is located right next to the Yellow Line station (second to last stop), which makes getting around quite convenient. You will usually need to transfer to reach the main central areas of Bangkok, but the connection is easy.
If you stay here, it’s very important to request a room that does not face the station. The train noise can be very loud, making it difficult to sleep or enjoy the balcony.
The hotel itself is pleasant. The breakfast is nice and quite varied, and the staff at the reception are very friendly and welcoming. There is also a small but lovely pool area, and even large turtle enclosures that are interesting to see.
Housekeeping cleans the room daily, which is a nice plus.
The location is convenient in terms of transportation. There are two 7-Eleven stores very close to the hotel. However, the area is a bit limited when it comes to restaurants and shops, so you may need to travel a little for more dining options.
Overall, a comfortable stay with good transport access and friendly staff.

I would like to sincerely thank the staff here.
After I accidentally fell and got injured outside, the staff provided timely and thoughtful help. They arranged the shuttle bus to take me to the nearest pharmacy and even recommended first-aid ointments that they personally use. This was clearly beyond their job responsibilities, yet they were always incredibly kind, friendly, and willing to help.
In addition, the facilities here are excellent. The hair dryer works very well, and there are plenty of useful and fun hangers. There is even an ironing machine provided in the room — something I’ve never seen before, even in four-star hotels during my previous trips to Bangkok.
There is also a self-service laundromat just a one-minute walk from the hotel, which is extremely convenient.
I have visited Bangkok several times, and this stay truly stood out.
I will definitely come back again on my next trip to Bangkok.

This was an exceptional Hotel, on arriving the entrance hall is beautiful and the rest of the Hotel continues to suprise! There are multiple Restaurants in the hotel, beautiful options, fiod was incredible, even the breakfast options. The pool clean with plenty of sunbeds. Spa was incredible, one of the best massages I've had.
On top of all of this it is joined to a huge shopping centre with amazing sales this time of year and a BTS on Sukhumvit line.

CCK97My wife and I recently celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary with a 3-night stay at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel and it was an unforgettable experience.
Although not so modern, our room was luxurious and well maintained, providing all the comforts and amenities we needed. We especially looked forward to breakfast each morning, eager to enjoy the chef’s special of the day, which never disappointed and added a delightful start to our day.
During our stay, we appreciated the convenient location near all the shopping malls and attractions.
Overall, our experience at the Grand Hyatt Erawan was wonderful except for an evening where the shower area and all the taps only has hot water regardless turning on the cold or hot water tap. The technician team was quick in resolving the issue about 15-20 mins later.
It made our 21st wedding anniversary extra special, and we will still come back for more anniversary celebrations. Highly recommended for couples or anyone seeking a luxurious getaway.

CCurt 常鹰We saved this hotel until last – slightly fancier than the other 3 in our time in Thailand – as a little final night trip, and unfortunately, it was the most disappointing of the lot. The price, by global standards, might not be eye-watering. But by Thailand prices, it was certainly higher end, at over 800rmb per night with a ~450 (2000bht) deposit upon arrival. It did not meet those standards, I'm afraid to say.
First things first, it should be said that it is fairly easy to get to on the MTR system, just a very short walk from Hwai Khwang, though it should be pointed out that when using Trip to find the location of Google Maps, I was given the wrong spot (further down the road, so actually a nice surprise to see it was closer, and I wont hold this against the hotel as it is likely nothing to do with them.)
Serve at check-in was good, bags carried up the stairs for us and taken to the room with the porter stood waiting as we arrived. Check-in staff were as friendly as one would expect at a Marriott-run hotel of this quality, & though I was slightly surprised by the price of the deposit it was ultimately fine.
We had booked a deluxe room with a double bed, and were told that since there was none available (?), we'd be upgraded to a Premier. Looking at the app since, I'm struggling to see where they differ. The decor in the Premier is perhaps a bit more modern, but they are the same size with the same bathroom (more on that later), and the lower price-point is on a much higher floor (ergo better view, I'd assume). In truth, had I paid for a Premier & been greeted with our room, I'd have been even more disappointed.
The room was fine, but I'm not sure much more than that. A decent size, though by no means surprisingly big. It was at least quite airy, and the bed pretty comfortable, though seriously lacking in plug sockets. I find it rare to see a hotel these days without plug sockets on both sides of the bed, especially a hotel at this price point. It meant that only one phone could be charged nearby, the other on the table on the other side of the room.
The bathroom, though, was really, really disappointing (& that's putting it lightly). The bathtub might have been a nice touch, had it not quite clearly had dried on blood stains in it. I've never experienced this in any hotel I've ever stayed at, no matter how cheap. Let alone at one double the price of anywhere else we stayed in Bangkok and Thailand! The sink, too, was clearly scratched up dirty, with two clear globs of dried on mucus. No face washing in there for us. Fortunate perhaps, given the number of towels provided too was pretty light. The bin in the bathroom also came with no bin bag. I'd hope that the inside is therefore cleaned regularly, but given what we'd seen before, I wasn't filled with hope.
Elswhere, breakfast was generally of expected quality. Nothing to write home about per se, but a very nice dining area and good service in fairness. The coffee was decent, though again by no means hugely memorable. The swimming pool is a highlight, offering great views across the city (indeed, the view from our room was quite nice too – though can't help thinking it would be better from a higher floor, like in the cheaper rooms!), with ample comfy beds and free towels. It might be a bit small in peak season, but there were only 3 other groups sharing with us, so plenty of space for a swim.
We also enjoyed the massage (850bht). The price was not included in the room fee, but I thought 850 seemed a decent price for the quality and the convenience.
Each of these things could be the most memorable part of the trip, were we not greeted by the dirtiest bathroom I've ever experienced in a hotel. & that's a real pity, because it was so avoidable too! Especially from a Marriott hotel, I'd really expect better.

PPengguna TetamuBeat Warii is my go to Hostel in Bangkok - the scenic riverside location and spaciousness cannot be beaten at all.
I thoroughly enjoy the modern decor and light that permeates this Hostel and the energy and vibes that abound.
The rooms and dormitories provide wonderful privacy and clean lines and the linens are crisp and well maintained.
This Hostel provides an in-house cafe, laundry and iron service, basketball court, tourist info, shoe and valuable lockers (2 per person) and luggage storage and they make it easy to check-in no matter what time of the day. It also has easy access to multiple transport options and the sights and sounds that matter most are close-by.
Mean, Nene, Sundew & Poon at reception and all the cleaning staff are professional and friendly and they make me feel so at home. Don't overthink this one, BEAT Warii offers great value, so come stay!

PPengguna TetamuRamada is an excellent hotel as per our usual, back here many times, great breakfast, great service and the hotel with the help of Aung La from reception desk upgraded our rooms to premium rooms and provided late check out till 1pm which was very much appreciated. Highly recommended hotel if you want to be close to everything and they provide shuttle boat to main pier.

GGarreth HuntBangkok was the last stop on our trip to Thailand and we booked this hotel as a treat to end our trip given it's 5 star status. We were left very disappointed...
The lobby is lovely and is indicative of a high end hotel but that's where it ended unfortunately. The rooms are 3 star at best. We had booked a room with a balcony specifically but the initial room we were given didn't have one. The staff were very helpful and moved us to another room with a balcony, however the balcony was surrounded by fans so we had limited views. We were offered another room on our second day with a better balcony but the room itself was smaller so we opted to stay where we were. From what we could see, none of the balconies are great so I would avoid paying the extra for rooms with them.
The pool is cold and in need of some work, the grout is coming away in many areas creating sharp edges in spots. Also not 5 star quality.
Breakfast was the nicest setup and offering we had seen in Thailand.

EExpat EDventuresWe had a very pleasant stay at Somerset Sukhumvit 71 Bangkok. Check-in was easy and smooth with welcome infused water, and the on-site café was excellent, with delicious breakfast pastries. The beds were firm and clean, the room was comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning and making our beds daily. We also appreciated that both of our rooms were booked next to each other, which made travelling as a family much easier. Our fourteen-year-old’s bed was already made up upon arrival, which was a thoughtful touch.
John, the concierge, was outstanding. He managed to book a same-day bike tour for our family of six and also kindly arranged our airport transfer. His service truly stood out and made our stay even better.
Our only disappointment was New Year’s Eve. We had planned to ring in the new year at the rooftop venue, but it was fully booked. I had messaged the hotel in advance through the Trip app but didn’t receive a response. Instead, we followed a restaurant recommendation from the front desk, only to arrive 56 minutes before closing and be told the kitchen was already closed. Two other nearby restaurants were also closed, so we ended up grabbing snacks from the 7-Eleven across the street. The hotel kindly unlocked our balcony so we could at least watch the fireworks from our room.
The rooftop restaurant is beautiful, and the pool area is also very nice, although the water was quite cold, so we didn’t swim. The location is a bit far out, but overall, we enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it and booked a third night. A great hotel with excellent service, especially from the concierge, and we would happily stay again.

Turun di stesen dan berjalan selama 3 minit sahaja. Bilik di tingkat 28 mempunyai bilik mandi yang sangat bersih. Kakitangan perkhidmatan yang baik, cantik. Katilnya bersih dan selesa. tiada bunyi bising Tidur lena sehingga pagi. Hotel ini mempunyai sarapan di tingkat 8 Bagi makanan, terdapat kolam renang yang panjang secara keseluruhan, sangat bagus.

TTraveling ZetaReally enjoyed our stay here. It is off the beaten path down a few alleys, but there is a shuttle bus that can take you back-and-forth every 30 minutes or you can just call a Grab. Has a beautiful pool and a weamend only hot spring you can book with a cold plunge pool if you’re interested. I didn’t try the breakfast. Delivery is too easy and the variety is better. The hotel room came with a microwave and a refrigerator, which is extremely helpful if you’re ordering and takeout and have leftovers. Everyone was nice and friendly. I would definitely stay again.

The balcony had not been opened and locked. The cockroach was seen inside the room. And then toothbrush and toothpaste were not put inside the shower room even included since booking. But staffs from the reception were polite, friendly and helpful.
