Hotel berhampiran Vale de Alcantara, Lisbon

The location of hotel is perfect. Easy to access some touristic spots, also to the transportation. There was some noise from the refrigerator though, i had to plug it out while sleeping. The room was clean, bathroom was a bit small to place my own toiletries, still it was all fine for a short stay.

This was a brilliant place to stay that was great value for money, comfy, and in a really great location just outside the centre of Lisbon. Transport links were plentiful and I have to give 5 stars to our host (I’m so sorry I didn’t manage to catch his name - I believe it might be Pedro??) who was incredibly friendly, professional and made us feel very welcome in the building. He also gave us information about the local area and a few recommendations which was lovely! The only issue we had was dropping our bags off in the morning as check in did not open till 15:00. We were informed we could do this from 10:00 as cleaning staff would be there but when using the buzzer at the front door we got no response. Luckily we managed to get inside via another couple staying in the building. From here a member of the cleaning staff was happy to lock our bags in reception until check in opened. Just a minor thing overall but this process could be a bit better :) thank you for having us!

Loved Wot Patio! Great position close to metros which links to rail and bus. Close to marquis da Pombal and the Avenida da liberdade. So if you’re a walker you can walk anywhere from here or catch the metro. Great local restaurants full of Portuguese one street over from the Avenida. Safe area, clean and friendly. Includes a carb loaded brekky and coffee etc and has a nice breakfast outdoor area. Plus a lounge and TV area Europa football was on when I was there so it was a fun atmosphere. I was made welcome and the young people always had time for a chat with a mature age traveler! I’d stay again! Request a bottom bunk for better comfort and privacy and convenience.

Please beware of Hotel DAH in Lisbon...the treatment and experience we endured at this hotel were so deplorable, unaccomodating, and unacceptable. We booked this hotel through ******* for 4 nights in Lisbon. Due to the size of our party, 2 adults and 3 children, this was the only option for our family to be in 1 room at the time. After arriving late to check in due to travel, the hotel was very unflattering as the pictures from Expedia's site as well as the hotel's website depicted a completely different image, a complete misrepresentation. In addition, travel sites indicate laundry facilities in which they did not have, only a pricey service that they contract out. As having never been to Lisbon and not knowing the neighborhoods, we were taken back by all of the graffiti on the adjacent abandoned building. The layout of the hotel is very small and bizarre, with an elevator that could not even fit our family and luggage. We booked the quadruple room in order to accommodate our family; however the hotel management informed us that we only made a reservation for 4, even after showing them proof. The hotel stated that anyone older than 12 is considered an adult, and we are only allowed 4 adults. Our children are 17, 14, 14. We were willing to pay the extra bed charge fee, even though we felt that this should have been handled between ******* and the hotel; however after the way we were treated we stated that we were not going to pay the extra bed fee. The General Manager later informed us after we had checked out, that the night attendant, who checked us in, will have to personally pay for the extra person as he did not request the $ from us at time of check-in. I find this very disturbing and disheartening that management would do this as he was the most pleasant person at the property. From being questioned the first night from staff as to why we were checking out the property, being treated like second class citizens from the night attendant (Sandra?), having our room key deactivated and not telling the truth as to why it was deactivated (was told that these things happen, but Nena (General Manager) admitted it was because we hadn't paid the nominal fee for the extra bed/person), and the overall feeling of being constantly watched, not welcomed, and unsafe, we decided to check out early. Nena, the GM, stated that irregardless of our awful experience, this was a non-refundable booking and will not credit us for the 2 nights we did not stay at Hotel DAH. Even ******* felt for our discomfort and assisted us in other ways that we are extremely grateful for. This experience took up quality family vacation time that we can not get back. Please think twice about staying at this property as this was the worst experience we have encountered in all of our years of travel. Lovely and close to the airport, a late check-in, staff were delightful, she even came to my room to help me with the wndow, the handle was broken so it would not close properly. Toilet, seat was loose... Nice room, but a bit of road noise with open window. Breakfast was great and at €9.50 very reasonable, good selection and even a fresh orange squeezing machine. If you have an early morning flight, seriously consider this place. No stress about 10am checkout 👍

Neues sauberes sehr modern eingerichtetes Hotel. Leider war das Angebot der Hotelküche sehr ausgedünnt, auf Grund der Corona-Krise, aber auch die verbliebenen Speisen waren meiner Meinung nach den Preis nicht wert. Qualitativ kann mann da außerhalb des Hotels in Relation zum Preis leicht fündig werden, Ansonsten ist das Hotel sehr sauber, sehr modern eingerichtet. Ohne Beschränkungen würde ich dieses Hotel gerade im Sommer empfehlen. Der hauseigene Pool und auch die große moderne Bar laden zum Verweilen ein, was mir leider nicht vergönnt war.

The hotel is very nice and new looking. Very clean. Andre is so helpful at the front desk as are all of the staff. Loved it here. But for a long stay I would want more amenities but for the price and 2 nights, it was perfect. Lidl Grocery store across the street.

Lovely hotel with amazing pool views and quietness. The staff is really nice and I came during low season so very quiet and peaceful. I oved walking to the huge beaches for long walks and have delicious fish by the seaside. Room service is very goos, shower is strong (can get very hot) and facilities are new. The only negatives: the breakfast is every day the SAME thing (except for cakes) which gets boring after a week. Same displays and not many exciting new choices. Pancakes are cold and small, i love mine warm and fluffy. There are no real restaurants in the hotel. Apart from that, all good.
