New and modern hotel. Perfectly located - within walking distance of both train stations and the central part of the city. There are several good restaurants nearby. What I liked: 1. Very friendly and helpful staff 2. Spacious room with great view 3. Comfortable bed and accessories 4. Delicious and varied breakfast What I didn't like: 1. Everything inside is new and looks nice, but it feels like the cheapest materials were used) 2. There was a crackling sound in the ventilation system from time to time. The technician came twice but found no problems. However, it really spoiled my sleep. 3. The gym has very poor equipment and bad ventilation. You have to breathe the smell of rubber from the flooring. 4. Pakring price - 30 EUR per day In general, the hotel leaves a good impression.

Loved this hotel! Breakfast was great choice and standard. Our room was a family delux style with inner doors to separate two beds. Bathroom was luxurious with bathtub. Nice touches to room such as an umbrella to use. So convenient to river and nearby attractions. The staff from reception to housekeeping were excellent. Very efficient and everything worked. Would definitely stay again.

I stayed at this hotel in room 116 check in by Nina and Ervin both very polite friendly and professional the room was immaculate breakfast is very good quality multiple choices food in the restaurant is also very good staff are very pleasant and helpful Erwin the manager is exceptionally helpful and informative for him nothing is too much trouble he ensures the guests enjoy their stay for him nothing is impossible my stay was first class there are some shops close to the hotel and a good bus service to the city about 10 minutes they can also arrange a shuttle service to the hotel from the airport which is much cheaper than a taxi l would certainly come back again and highly recommend this hotel to others you will not be disappointed.

We were thrilled to be upgraded to a suite on their most recently renovated floor, with design, interior space and room amenities all being above and beyond, an absolute 10 out of 10. All of our staff encounters were warm and gracious, with all exerting genuine hospitality. The front desk was so helpful w/ dinner recommendations and reservation at the oldest operating restaurant in Ljubljana, named Sestica. The menu was their traditional cuisine prepared in the most authentic way. Back to the hotel: A wonderful breakfast is included in a beautiful and well appointed dining room. As a bonus, their spa with Thai massage was amazing, and invitingly affordable by all standards. Carve out an hour and a half to treat yourself, you more than likely deserve and have earned such a reward. One note to which requires distinction: Union Eurostars and Grand Union Eurostars are not the same. Yes, they are affiliated and directly and openly connected, yet the similarity ends there. Union is more modern, and nothing wrong with it, just to similar to any chain Hotel anyone can find virtually anywhere. Grand Union, is an historic building, that evokes Grand European styling, and tradition, which is tantamount for us when staying in an Historic center! I also note that distinction, as the taxi driver did not know the difference and were dropped off @ Union reception, and after waiting a few minutes to get checked in, we were advised with complete courtesy that we would be met by her colleague @ Grand Union reception just around the corner. Bravo, Grand Union, we hope our travel plans provide a return visit down the road, and there is nowhere else we would ever consider staying than here.

L'hotel si presenta bene, per qualità materiali e struttura (letto e doccia da 10 e lode) peraltro in posizione fantastica direttamente sul canale. Il bagno è molto confortevole Ma ... sia il bagno che la camera sono ciechi (in tutto non più di 15 mq) e se aggiungiamo che la camera , doppia , è più piccola della camera di un traghetto, questa soluzione può andar bene se di transito e per non più di una notte. Aggiungo l'aspetto più IMPORTANTE. La struttura è stata selezionata con filtro ”colazione inclusa” , e l'applucazione lo estrae e propone ma direi ... in modo fuorviante, in quanto prevista come servizio a pagamento al ”modico” prezzo di €20,00 a persona (eravamo in 6!). A mio avviso trattandosi di un H4stelle il fatto che esista possibilità di colazione sarebbe scontato e non dovrebbe comparire tra le offerte ”colazione inclusa” Ultima segnalazione. Non esiste DEPOSITO BAGAGLI, lasciati nella hall praticamente all'ingresso. Personale gentile e accogliente. Hotel pretenzioso, che crea aspettative ... in parte ”deluse”

L'auberge n'est qu'a 5 minutes à pied de la gare, ne pas chercher l'entrée, la réception se fait dans le pub Anglais, il faut laisser une petite caution pour la clé à votre arrivée. Les chambres sont à l'étage de ce pub, elles sont spacieuses, les lits sont de bonne qualité, coffre sous le lit pour mettre ses affaires. Salle de bains et toilette propre et en nombre correct. Le centre-ville n'est qu'à 5-10 minutes à pied. Le petit point négatif est qu'il n'y a pas vraiment de réception en cas de besoin, ni de cuisine ou de salle commune. Bien pour quelques nuits.

The room we stayed in was old and had a musty smell upon entering. The given pillows were flat with oversized pillowcases. We only knew we could request for better pillows the next day. Didn’t see the write-up on the table. When we arrived, there was no car park lot in the garage anymore. Luckily, we were able to park in the open space car park which is just opposite the hotel. The receptionist who helped with our check-in was very helpful and answered our queries patiently. The breakfast was quite good. The location of the hotel is really superb. It is near the many places of interest and shopping areas. No need to take any transport. All within walking distance.

We wish we had paid more attention to the reviews before booking the Antiq Palace. Our room wasn't made up and the tea/coffee station was not replenished before we took the room on. Reception told us that due to a bit of a panic by the cleaning company over covid, rooms were only serviced at the specific request of the guest! We were not told this and anyway, are covid restrictions not a thing of the past? The silicone around the bath showed signs of mould as did the grout in the tiles in the shower. The toilet bowl looked like it had not been cleaned. There was no soap in the dispensers. Staff eventually left bars of hand soap and tiny bottles of shower gel. The tap dripped, as did the bidet. The plug in the sink doesn't stay in place had we wanted to fill the sink. The shower head in the main shower was pretty useless. Blinds on the window were broken or didn't work properly. There was 3 hangers in the wardrobe. There was a huge TV on a sideboard - the screen had a distracting crackly fault line right across the screen. Having said all of this, the staff at reception were very nice and very helpful.
