Ulasan Hampton by Hilton London Old Street

I had no idea that a windowless room would mean being in the basement, let alone on the second subterranean level. The soundproofing was terrible; people were still talking loudly in the hallway late at night, and doors were constantly being knocked on, opened, and closed. This was the only hotel on my entire European trip where I felt the need to barricade my door with a small table just to feel safe, out of fear that someone might accidentally walk into my room. There was no toothbrush, toothpaste, or slippers, and when I called the front desk, they said these items weren't provided. The lobby and breakfast were decent, pretty standard.

The room is clean and spacious as expected to be the quality of Hilton ! Location near old street station with 6 mins walk, however if you want to go out at night. The entire district seems to be too quiet and not too safe.

From the reception staff everything amazing . All very helpful and ensured I had anything needed and all the information required for my stay and local attractions and transportation. Rooms, Breakfast, location and staff was 10/10 and would definitely come back.

Though it’s not a 5* hotel but it’s clean and tidy with excellent staff. I strongly recommend this hotel. Convenient to public transport .

It was alright, but the hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes, so you'll need to bring your own.

I stayed here for a total of six nights. The hotel feels quite new overall, with modern facilities. While the rooms aren't particularly spacious, they're perfectly acceptable for London standards. The hotel also boasts very convenient transport links.

Because I have claustrophobia, I always book hotel rooms that are marked as ‘with a window.’ At this hotel, the check-in was on the ground floor, but the room they gave me was clearly in the basement (B1), with no real window—only a fake decorative one. However, they insisted on calling the basement the ‘1st floor’ and claimed the room had a window. They refused to change me to an upstairs room with a real window, saying those were fully booked, and they also would not offer a refund or any compensation, nor give me any proper explanation. Btw, the location is not so good, especially during night, it’s empty outside, not safe for walking.

The hotel is quite new, and the decor is nice. The bathroom is spacious, but the room is a bit on the smaller side, and there wasn't enough space to comfortably open two suitcases. Breakfast was decent, and the make-your-own waffle station was a big hit with the kids.

I love where this hotel is situated, not on the main street, no noise nor chaos. Nice coffee shops and restaurants. Breakfast is good. Love tho coffee choices. Staff is superb, got in early. Room is spacious and super clean. Water is unlimited!

Great hotel , comfortable bed air conditioning and great decor. The staff were friendly and very helpful especially kyuree! 😃 This location is great if you wanna access the tube to central London. From London King’s Cross take northern line to old street and it’s 5 min walk to hotel from there. Breakfast was delicious great variety of food.  Would definitely recommend this place and will return next time. Thank you!

This hotel does what it needs to do! Great staff, ok breakfast (croissants very good, coffee ok but slow machine) Even the room without window is ok. Value for money

Amazingggg friendly staff all were very nice and made me feel welcome , only complaint I have is just the beds are very hard and room furniture very hard so I’d say this hotel is great for ppl coming in groups to party but yes very nice stay food was lovely also !!

This experience was normal. The towels were not very clean and room was dirty as well the bathroom. We didn’t get slippers because we didn’t rent the top rooms. It was my first time going 2 floors underground to get to my room. The phone service was not working. The breakfast was nothing special. I would give this experience 3/10. I would like to add something else, one of the workers name Rebeca, was extremely sweet and nice. She was the only reason i stayed at the hotel. Apart from that I didn’t have a good experience at all.

I had cold water for the first five minutes of both my showers it took way too long to get warm that I nearly got out! Otherwise a good stay.
