The hotel: Very modern style where the kitchen dining area is where the staff will hang out and check you in with their laptops. There’s “manager’s hours” where they give free sake shots (which was served in wine glasses) and it was delicious. The complimentary breakfast is simple and just right with light pastries, coffee, tea, toast, jam, butter, yogurt, oatmeal, and fruit. The hotel grounds is inviting where you want to hang out in the nice outdoor lounge furniture and and night the lanterns/lighting and fireplace sets a nice mood. I thought it may be questionably loud but in your room you truly can’t hear anyone outside which is nice. The room: Smart set up and use of space. It gives me an idea of how to create a guest house. The room is managed by a tablet screen by the front door. It’s used to manage the blinds, windows, lighting, etc. The glass walls in the bathroom/shower is brilliant. I can watch TV and shower at the same time. The water pressure is nice and the Co.Bigelow brand body soap, shampoo, and conditioner were ssoooo soothing. My skin felt silky afterwards. The location: Right smack in Culver City near downtown Culver City, the restaurants, and theater, etc. There are shops across the street from the hotel as well as a fro yo place! It served to a wonderful place to hang out while we reunited with friends, taking our time eating the breakfast and enjoying the sake in the outside courtyard (all included in the price of stay!) Definitely coming back.

設計感很強很新的酒店 地理位置好離santa monica和beverly hills都很近 旁邊有mall離sunset ave那條吃brunch的街也很近，不考慮住中國城的朋友住這個酒店肯定不會錯

Good experience; the motel was as expected, the room was very clean, bed smells fresh, felt safe, plenty of parking. To be honest just the WiFi was kinda bad but wasn't a big deal for me as I used only my phone. The other good thing is that the place is not far from hollywood Boulevard, If you are driving of course, so about 15 min driving to do the walk of fame.

When I arrived at the hotel, a 4 star hotel, there was no one outside to greet us or help with bags and no visible valet or sign. I checked in and got to my room but it wasn't what I had paid for. I selected a room with a large soaking tub and was looking forward to that aspect. I got a room with a big 6 foot conference table in it. I was really disappointed but when I went to the front desk they told me it was an upgrade? But then admitted they'd overbooked that room type!! When I went up to the roof restaurant/bar I was the only one there which isn't a good sign but also the waiter told me the chef was on a break for fifteen minutes so my order would take a while. It was just ridiculous to me, especially for a four star place. It started to make sense why no one was there. Lastly, my room was not cleaned for two days!!! I told them about that too.....my garbage was overflowing and I literally had a bath towel with a hole in it! I do NOT recommend this place. There are so many other better options in Los Angeles by far. Someone said the hotel is lipstick on a pig...it's true.

The location is great since it is close to the place I need to visit. The room space is big but the windows are dirty which ruins the view of the neighborhood. They have a friendly staff that will greet you with a smile but there's only one person in the reception area and we waited for 10 minutes because she was attending a call. What I didn't like the most is there's no microwave oven in the room and there's one located in the lobby and the water heater is not working. Valet parking is also required with a fee.

Exactly what I was looking for in Los Angles. Stopped in Los Angles for the weekend before heading to Hawaii. I wanted a hotel that was decent and in a good location without the crazy cost associated with LA. I typically don't want to throw a ton of money at a hotel as we just use it as a place to sleep and shower. To that end, Wilshire Crest fit the bill to a T. Big room, nice bathroom renovated recently with good Wi-Fi. It appears to be a renovated apartment complex. No real view of the city, our room overlooked the courtyard. Plenty of light. Individual AC and mini fridge in the room. There were not a ton of plugs to be found, think studio apartment. No USB that I saw. It is a 2 story building without an elevator so if that is an issue, please let them know ahead. The carpet may have been a bit dated, but I found it to be clean an kept up nicely. We had no problems checking in. There is on street parking included, and we were able to find a place quite close every time we went out. Bag breakfast was left by the door after 7am. Sort of a Continental Breakfast with some additional yogurt and bananas. The desk was manned all the time, and the door was locked at night, but staff was very pleasant and responsive to anything we needed. It was walking distance to a few restaurants one block away, but the street it is on was very quiet. If you simply want a nice place to stay while in LA, I would highly recommend Wilshire Crest.
