Hotel di Hollywood, Los Angeles

Location is very good, just walking distance to Walk of Fame, malls and restaurants.

We love the hotel’s location as it’s close to popular tourist places. The room was bigger than expected and was cleaned everyday.

The service wasn’t really up to the standards of such a wonderful, high end hotel. We even upgraded our room day of. They ruined our custom cake in transport from the valet to our room, despite the fact we gave them very detailed instructions. They reassured us that they’d be right up. I had to call twice to get them to bring us our luggage (and the cake) and by then a hour had gone by, and the custom decorations had melted off the cake ruining it. There was a lot of confusion on how they would make it up to us as I had to talk to three different people on the day and the day after who all told me different things. In the end, since they didn’t send us a dessert to make up for the cake they ruined and the champagne they promised was instead $150 off at the bar — thank god I called to ask where the wine was otherwise I wouldn’t have known I had the credit and would not have used it. Eventually they comped us the valet, upgrade and what they say was an extra drink we got at the bar that went over the $150 (impossible, we all made sure the math lined up) but the communication was a struggle and I did not felt appreciated as a customer.

The location is good which is near to Hollywood. However, there is no public transportation nearby, but the public transportation in LA is bad overall anyway. The room is nice. The bed is super comfy. There is a big screen tv. They even provide eye mask and earplug. The only problem we have is the breakfast. There is not many choices: only one hot item, mini croissants and fruits. They only serve breakfast until 9 am, which is too short for us. Overall it’s a good stay.

Location was fantastic. A good and comfortable stay, we loved the convenience that it was right in Hollywood and connected to a mall.

Great breakfast, nice swimming pool, good breakfast and friendly staff, and free parking was much appreciated there!

Great customer service, very helpful with everything, directions to get around, places to go, to eat. Cesar at the front front desk the best.

I did not expect anything when we booked this hotel. But im happy we booked at this hotel. Very near to everything, on the left is the nearest metro station, walkable! Opposite to the hotel is a grocery and nearby thai foods, beside the hotel is heng chicken rice which is super yummy and affordable! You can take bus or metro to hollywood walk of fame. Can take metro to universal too! Amenities, there is laundry area which is a plus, make sure you have 8 quarters for washing, another 8 quarters forr drying! Bed super comfy, im very particulatlr with bugs, but their bed does not have any. No issue with toilet. Microwave and ref is working. Only downside is coffee maker not clean, but you can use microwave to heat water. Around the area, no homeless or addicts. We went out around 12mn to get food at nearby thai restaus, and there was not a single homeless i see. But check where you are walking, there are poops, which i think is common here in US hahaha Overall, this hotel is highly recommended. I do hope i get to help people booking for places here in hollywood.
