The pillows are not comfortable. The heat stopped early morning and the room went cold and disrupt my sleep. There is room to improve the breakfast. Giving the exact time for the breakfast in advance and within short interval is hard to predict..most hotels give a breakfast time interval of 3 hours without fix attend. The staff are very awsum and give you the luxury impression. Very clean and calm. Location is very good

Dit hotel bestaat uit een modern gedeelte en de Porta Cité Heritage, gelegen in een oude ingenieurswoning. Wij hadden een kamer in dat laatste en dat beviel ons uitermate. Het hele interieur straalt gezelligheid uit. Er is zelfs een lift voorhanden. De kamer zelf is ruim, luchtig en comfortabel. Het gebouw is gelegen aan een vrij druk rondpunt, maar ze zijn danig goed geïsoleerd, dat je daar geen last van hebt. Enig minpuntje bij erg warm weer, is dat er geen airco aanwezig is, alleen een ventilator. Maar dat zal ons niet weerhouden om bij een volgende gelegenheid terug naar de Heritagekamers te vragen. Voor het ontbijt konden we terecht in het nieuwe gedeelte van het hotel. Het ontbijtbuffet bestond uit een warm en koud aanbod, zoet en hartig. Genoeg van alles. En ten slotte was het personeel vriendelijk.

Het goede: - Uitstekende uitvalsbasis om in de mooie omgeving te lopen en te fietsen! - Erg goed eten in het restaurant, traditioneel Frans, prijs is iets aan de hoge kant. - Erg attent en prettig personeel, zeer goed! - Goede Wifi dekking en geen streaming issues - Oppervlakte van de Junior Suite is ruim genoeg - Voor januari niet geschikt, maar de tuin en buitengelegenheden zien er aantrekkelijk uit. Het slechte: - Het hotel is gedateerd. - De junior suite was erg donker, somber, niet aantrekkelijk en erg onhandig ingericht. - Oncomfortabele zit/bedbank in de kamer. Niet om lekker op te zitten. - Het TV-tje hangt aan een beugel in deur tussen slaapkamer en huiskamer, bijzonder onhandig! Enkel Belgische zenders overigens. Neem een Chromecast oid mee. - De bedden, er wordt geadverteerd met een 1 groot bed, je krijgt er 2 bedden op wieltjes apart opgemaakt. Super ongezellig. - De bedden zijn uitermate zacht en slap, doorgelegen? - Veel te weinig en niet juist opgestelde verlichting Het is echt geen ramp, maar zeker ook geen plek om samen iets te gaan vieren....
