Wow! This property is absolutely everything you dream about when you think of Madrid. The inside is absolutely beautiful. The location is perfect. The room, including the bathroom, is comfortable and charming. The food and drinks are delicious. What more could you ask for? Well, let me tell you. It’s fun. And why is that? The staff!! The staff is truly wonderful. Some of the best anywhere. I was an extremely weary traveler when I found my way there and walked in about 11:00p on a Tuesday night. The two at the front desk, Ramiro and Carlota, were so gracious and welcoming. Thanks so much for making me smile after a long and arduous day of travel and conducting business. I didn’t think I had enough energy to smile that evening, but you both brought out the best in me. Then, very early the next morning, I saw Ramiro again, who made sure I had a cup of coffee before the restaurant opened. Thanks, I needed that very much. And of course, Paola, one of the cheeriest people I have ever met. And she was so determined to make me fluent in Spanish. I arrived knowing one, and only one, word in Spanish. I left knowing three. You succeeded Paola!! So much fun to have met you. Curio Hotel manager, make sure to value this employee. She’s in a league of her own. One of the very, very best!! And of course Ana Lozano, my breakfast server. I said to her not to ask if I needed a refill on my coffee, but just to keep it hot and the cup full. And she did. Time and time again. So much fun to interact with that early in the morning and without a whole lot of sleep. All in all, this property is the best! Not kidding at all. Ramiro, Carlota, Paola, and Ana, the four of you make quite a team. So looking forward to returning. And when I do, I hope to see you all again. Soon!!! Job well done to all four of you. Thank you!!!
