We had the most amazing time at Riad Beata. Abdul and Noura were great hosts. Abdul was helpful with information on what to avoid around Marrakech and the main square to prevent us being scammed. He also walked us to the square the first time to ensure we knew the way, which was very helpful for us. The Riad was beautiful inside. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. After day 1 we felt safe walking from the Riad to the square. The local children are helpful with directions if you get lost in the winding streets trying to find the Riad. We asked Noura to cook for us one evening, this was our favourite meal from our time in Marrakech. She made us a beautiful starter, a vegetable tagine, and a little dessert. We ate it upstairs as the sun set. Thank you Noura for your wonderful cooking. The breakfasts are also great and we enjoyed having them each morning. We highly recommend staying at Riad Beata. It was great value for money. If we come back to Marrakech we will be sure to stay here again. Thank you Abdul and Noura.

Das Zimmer war klein, das Bett sehr niedrig und die Matratze bedenklich. Insgesamt sehr hellhörig und in einer unschönen Gegend gelegen. Wir hatten vorher zwei wesentlich bessere Riads und würden es nicht mehr buchen.

Super cozy and pleasant stay in the middle of old town in the center. Comfortable beds in rather small but cozy room. Solid breakfast. Helpful and patient staff. Great experience overall. Highly recommend this small gem would definitely 100% come back !

Riad Beata ! What a friendly and welcoming staff from the start. Amazing place to visit, incredible location, easy to find with Google Maps, so close to the souks and attractions of the Medina. The owner was so much fun: she had offered us endless Moroccan tea, biscuits, wine. No extra charge! We especially had one fun evening at talking and laughing on the magical terrace looking at the stars. Was amazing. The accommodation overall was of a high standard, with each room overlooking a central courtyard. Freshly prepared breakfast every morning. We felt very welcomed here and enjoyed our stay! We will come back.

Great place to visit in Morocco. Location was safe and close to the old section of the town. Very friendly and professional service ready to help you all the time and answer all of your questions. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to have a peaceful and enjoyable experience in Marrakech.

We had such a great experience at this hostel! It truly felt like a cozy riad. We were greeted with tea and some traditional pastries while checking in, which was a lovely touch. The rooms are charming and quite clean. The location is excellent, situated in a quiet area but with easy access to the busy city center. They even sent a video to help us locate the hostel, which was very helpful. Garmes Sifalislam was incredibly attentive and accommodating. He allowed us to leave our luggage at the hostel on our last day while we explored the city. Plus, they prepared a delicious breakfast for us! Definitely a hostel to revisit on our next trip to Marrakech!

I had a wonderful, peaceful and enjoyable stay at this small beautiful guest house. From the moment of our arrival we felt at home. The host shared with us all the tips and information about the area. Our room was perfect, very clean and well designed mixed between modernity and traditional style which makes it more unique The service provided was excellent and our host went above and beyond to make our stay more comfortable. He was very passionate about morocco and the city ,he shared with us many tips and fun facts about it's highlights and all the places of interest. The house itself is decorated in simple but in a traditional Moroccan accents with the modern accommodations the heating and cooling system was super strong. Very comfortable bed and bedsheets changed at our request. Breakfast is simple but very delicious. You should ask for a Moroccan coffee . The pancakes home made is delicious. I would come back to this guest house at any time without any hesitation and thank you so much for hosting me in this very unique and beautiful riad .

Let’s start from the beginning…. Myself and my son arrived at the Riad in the evening . We were followed by someone who spoke about knowing where the Riad was . We DID NOT ask him for directions . Once we arrived at the property the manager let us in. The man was demanding money from us for showing us to the property . I explained several times I did not ask for directions and would not be giving him any money . The manager stood with the door open and even allowed him to step in . Why wouldn’t you tell him to leave and shut the door instead of allowing him to try and intimate us ? Luckily I’m not easily intimidated but it’s not the point it wasn’t a nice start to our holiday . Once we arrived in the room it looked completely different to the pictures extremely small for 2 adults . Nevertheless we left our luggage and left out to explore for an hour . Once back I sat on the bed and noticed how hard it was . (Single beds were requested due to sharing with my 21 year old son). The next morning I had pain down my left side due to the bed being so hard so went to speak to the manager . This went on for a few days back and forth , asking for extra duvets to sleep on . I was then told there was nothing that could be done . As I was still unhappy I was told to contact *********** . I could tell the manager wasn’t particularly bothered or interested. I then asked to speak with the owner (the managers wife ) and was told she was away in the USA. I managed to get her number and sent 2 messages . Both messages were ignored . Over a period of 5 days I spoke with the manager face to face and on WhatsApp numerous times . Why as a manager you are communicating on WhatsApp is beyond me. Laziness and lack of interest ( you live within with Riad) Quick to ask for the tax on the first day though. I don’t think it’s fair I paid almost £600 to be treated like that . You ruined our first experience of Marrakesh. It’s not good enough to say ‘what should I do about it ‘ and ‘sorry’ I should have been refunded for the days left after my complaint so I could go and stay somewhere with a reasonable bed . I even explained I’d donated a kidney last year so needed a comfortable bed . This is not too much to ask it’s basic . Didn’t want to refund any money at all…GREEDY. Not sure why you some platforms you’ve advised a rooftop pool ? It’s a small terrace area with your personal laundry room . Over the wall is a building of rubble where rubbish is burnt and a graveyard so not a nice view at all . Also can I address the breakfast as it looks nothing like the picture . It consist of 2 flat pastries , a small orange juice , an over sweet Moroccan tea , a small jam & marmalade and a huge basked of bread . This is the same every day . The bathroom Was not upto a good hygiene standard (see pics) I informed the manager the hot water had gone cold . This went on for 2 days with an ‘engineer ‘ who had no idea what he was doing banging for 2 days throughout the day and night causing the
