We stayed in the Moringa Lodge for two nights as part of a two week holiday. The bubbles are absolutely brilliant - the setting is beautiful (in the forest overlooking a lake), they're really well set up with a comfy bed, robes, tea & coffee, AC and they gave us a bottle of bubbles on arrival. We particularly liked the (private) outdoor shower. The ability to see stars and the moon from the bed is something really special, as is the resort itself - it truly is a beautiful place and the animals wandering about just add to the feeling of being somewhere special. It was great to visit the tea factory and do the tea tasting but I’m not sure I’d recommend it without the stay - it was fairly simple. As other reviewers have said, the dinner set up is a bit odd. The food was nice enough but we didn't love eating in a mostly empty restaurant - it didn't feel super relaxing. For breakfast, I felt they could have explained the options a bit better - I had a totally different breakfast experience on the second morning with a different member of staff who offered me a variety of things vs the first day. The other - and bigger - issue for me was that there were so many mosquitos. I know the resort can't help this but if you're someone who gets bitten easily I'd think twice about staying here. It just meant I couldn't sit outside on the deck to relax as I got so badly bitten the first afternoon. Perhaps the hotel could provide bug spray in the room which would help. This could have just been the time of year we visited (December) but it wasn't rainy season (yet).

What a lovely time spent there. Hotel clean, well maintained, perfect staffs attitudes, good food. Yogesh in the restaurant was great, good Profesional service even the responsible and other staffs also. Keep up the good works mostly all these new youngsters in the hospitality section. The free shuttle available was great and helpful. Thks again all team, not to forget Room service quick responses and kitchen team, Bravo. Hope 2 see u all next time. Bonne continuation. Hello This was our third visit to the hotel. The first time was back in 2008 for our honeymoon and at that time hotel was a first best in class 5 star hotel. As regards to our short stay at the hotel: The minus: - unfortunately a bad surprise at checkin whereby our reservation made a mistake which cost us to pay the double amount at arrival as additional fees. ( we were two adults, one child and one kid) - this we had two separate rooms for our family. Pfff.. - the buffet appears very limited as compared to past times. I dont know if it is due to cost cutting budget policy. But nevertheless quality is good. - expensive drinks. The plus: - the fantastic and friendly mauritian personnel. Always there to assist. - Foreign workers should be more trained in hospitality if I can be humble. - house cleaning perfectly done. - a five star piscine and jacuzzi. - a zen atmosphere all around and not a crowdy hotel. Perfect place to relax. - hotels has been renovated and looks amazing Thanks to all the team for this enjoyable stay.

Her dedication and care made her not just a wonderful hostess but a cherished part of our experience. We rate her an emphatic 10+/10. Equally remarkable was Kailash. With his innate knack for arranging romantic breakfasts and dinners in our room, his charismatic presence as he drove us around the resort in his buggy, and his assertiveness that ensured all our needs were met, he was instrumental in making our holiday complete. His personable demeanor is a true credit to the hotel. Our appreciation extends to the room service team as well. Koomar, Veenaye, Joanne, Tarvesh, Nitesh, and Sanjeev all contributed to facilitating a seamless and unforgettable experience. Their collective attention to detail, promptness, and friendly demeanor were remarkable. However, the standout personality and the heart of the Constance Belle Mare Plage was Kris. You will find him on the beach, armed with an unbeatable selection of cocktail recommendations. His mixology skills are top-notch, and his engaging conversations coupled with a fantastic sense of humor made our beach days exceptionally memorable. Kris was not only an employee of the hotel but became a friend who enriched our stay. In summary, our experience at the Constance Belle Mare Plage was truly magical, fueled by the unwavering dedication of its staff, the beauty of its surroundings, and the exceptional level of service that made us feel like royalty. We have created unforgettable memories here, and we can’t wait to return next year. If you’re considering a trip to Mauritius, I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.
