Clean and smells good!, ample parking space, there is a bar, conference center, friendly and courteous service and lastly there is a warm free cookie welcome gift! 😁 Place is also near restaurants with different cuisines. A great location for a stopover! Room and Bathroom is also elegant looking!

I've stayed at many Fairfield Inns around the US over the last 10 years or so, and this one was the least impressive. I responded to a customer survey after my stay and received no reply, so I guess I'll let other potential travelers know the issues we encountered in this forum. First, there was no one at the front desk from about 7pm to 7am. There was a sign on the desk saying this was due to Covid., though how this could be true when there is someone manning the desk during the busiest parts of the day I don't know. Seems more like a cost saving measure to me. And despite signs everywhere saying masks were mandatory, most other guests we came across at all different times during our 9 day stay, were not wearing them. We felt like the hotel was not policing this at all. A bigger issue is that they call themselves a non-smoking hotel, yet it clearly is not. We could tell that our room had been smoked in previously, though it was not a severe odor or we would have left. What the hotel did totally reek of was pot, pretty much every night we were there, the dank aroma of ganja filled our hallway. Like, you could have gotten high off it if you stayed in the hallway and just breathed! Obviously hotel staff never makes a pass through the place or this would have been noticed. The room itself was clean, and beds were some of the most comfortable we've slept in lately. A/C worked perfectly, with thermostat turning it on and off as appropriate. It was impossible to make the room really dark for sleeping, with a large gap under the door letting light in from the hall, and numerous LED's in the room. Room had a small fridge and a microwave. Room was quite quiet at night, probably largely due to occupancy being way down due to Covid. Pool, which we were told when reserving was open, was not, again supposedly due to Covid. The only significant room issue was the bathroom. It had a separate sink area, which normally would be nice, but this one was so tiny we really felt cramped using it. The bathtub/shower appeared to be recently retiled in a very mod, textured white tile, but the fixtures were total crap. You could actually pull the tub spout away from the tiling when lifting the water diverter. Water pressure was OK, and no shortage of hot water. We have previously stayed at the BW right next door to this place, and will say we found this place was definitely better, but barely. Hotel is about two blocks from an I-495 exit. There is a grocery store about a mile away, and a big convenience store and three gas stations just a couple blocks away.

I stayed at this hotel for a night while in the area for work and had an overall pretty good stay. The friendly front desk associate welcomed me and gave me a good overview of the hotel, checked me in efficiently, and gave me a map to the hotel, for as she told me, ”it's a maze”. And a maze it was. I was in Building 6, and I had to take an elevator, follow some corridors, go out a door, and then down another corridor to get to my building, which didn't have its own elevator. My room was surprisingly spacious, with a living room, kitchenette, and a separate bedroom. The bed was comfortable and the towels were very soft. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the kitchenette had silverware, mugs, and plates. The mugs came in handy, as the room also had a Keurig machine with several K-cups, which I used in the morning. The only downside I'll mention is that the hotel might consider hanging up additional signs for the outlying buildings. I got lost a couple of times, even with the map, so having additional signs would have been useful. Also, I had to check out at ~6:15 AM to go to a meeting, and I had to wait for several minutes because everything at the front desk was still closed. I was about to leave when a hotel employee thankfully arrived; otherwise, I would have had to leave. If the front desk won't be staffed 24/7 (which is fine!), maybe someone could put up a sign?

Stayed here for work, needing something basic and knowing it would be far from 5 stars. I know staffing shortages are an issue right now but that didn't take the sting out of finding an old soap bar in the shower & food scraps on the floor under the desk. The beds were horrible with a hump in the middle of both queen beds in this particular room. The saving grace from this trip was Tammy at the front desk. She was exceedingly accommodating. When informed that the elevator was down she moved me to a first floor room (has a lot of equipment to bring in, all too big to bring up stairs alone). She was also very quick in finding an iron & board so I didn't look like a wrinkled mess the next day. She did all of this & accommodated other complaining guests with a smile and positive attitude. I don't know what they're paying her but I promise it isn't enough. It's a Motel 6 so I wasn't expecting much, but this was just enough to be disappointing even when grading on a curve. If it wasn't for the service it would have been a terrible experience.

Check in clerk wearing hoodie with hood up & no mask. Room smelled like cigarettes. Bathroom door sticks/squeaks. Uncomfortable bedding. Punch dent in bathroom door. Mystery splatter on inside door. Front door's peep hole glass broken. Heat knob broken. Tub very dirty. NO COFFEE MAKER IN ROOM. Small room. Gross. Stayed at the Red Roof Inn Plus+ in Framingham the night before, which was good. I'd stay there again. I'd never stay here again. Your options for this whole area are limited unless you up your budget or travel further. All lowest priced hotels in Southborough/Westborough are gross trash. Up your budget and stay at the Courtyard by Marriot, or go to Marlborough, or Red Roof Inn Plus+ in Framingham.
