I booked this hotel while coming up to Oia and accidentally booked wrong dates through a website. I was at the reception, spoke to the manager Popi who was incredibly helpful and nice. She helped me cancel the reservation for wrong date and book directly with her for cheaper, offered free breakfast and 20% discount on food at restaurant. 1. Initial room I got was quieter location but bed was a little too firm for me. She offered superior room which has comfortable beds (slightly interior location by the front of the hotel but that didn’t bother me much) 2. I got delayed getting back in-time for breakfast and checkout, Papi had requested the restaurant to quickly fix something for me and extended my checkout time till evening as that room wasn’t booked. I am honestly blown away by how nice she is and the staff are. The hotel looks a bit dated but it is clean with a kitchen (which I never used). Great value for the price paid to stay walking distance to Oia and bus stop

房間和風景都很漂亮！可以在房間外坐着看日出日落。房間設施不錯，有麵包機還有咖啡膠囊機，還給拖鞋！美中不足就是浴缸在室外，不是很乾凈，沒法泡澡。而且mini bar的東西都要收費（都這麼貴的酒店了TT） 🔔服務：特別特別好！工作人員態度超級好！入住給水還給我們升級了房間，提前問好我們想要吃的早餐類型，第二天就給送到房間來了。還送了我們一人一杯香檳！並且因為oia的路很難走，我們還讓酒店幫忙把我們的行李送到車站了，服務真的💯！ 🧹衛生：很乾凈很乾凈！整個房間都是香香的，床也超級軟，很舒服！

AMAZING HOLIDAY Went on a delayed honeymoon and had the Deluxe Suite with outdoor heated Jacuzzi I would highly recommend this room. Lots of space, 2 showers, amazing views, great size Hot tub - when they say hot tub they mean heated pool. Room Cleaned daily, breakfast bought to the room (huge selection) and pool cleaned daily. Staff exceptionally friendly, staff at reception couldn't have been more helpful with a call down to reception they would do what they could to help Oia is about a 20-25 min walk however on the way back it is a relatively tough walk up copious amounts of steps and in the dark can be quite tricky, we had to use our phone torches. This is nothing against the hotel as this was our decision to stay outside Oia main area. Two slight negatives were that the people who used the room before us were smokers, when we first walked in their was a faint smell of smoke nothing that made us want to move rooms and also on the balcony there were some left over cigarette butts on the floor. Again a mild inconvenience and these are the only negatives we have so as you can see this really is a great hotel. We would love to visit again Highly recommend booking an evening sunset catamaran cruise with BBQ one of the best days we had was when we did this. Oia is very busy in the evenings so would recommend trying to visit in the morning as well as evening for those 'instagram shots'... although we found it too hard to leave our room of luxury most of the time. Drinks are available at reception, water, beer, prosecco, fizzy drinks etc, local shop is about 10 mins walk but about a 20 min walk back due to steps. We ate in Lefkes one evening food was good slightly overpriced but you will find that in most places in Oia. A remarkable experience overall and would love to come back one day! From the airport pickup to check out, what a fantastic and memorable visit! After the short flight from Athens, the hotel driver meet us and transported us to the heavenly experience of Maregio Suites atop the caldera in the charming village of Oia. The hotel is relatively new (built in 2017) and sits above Amoudi Bay on the outskirts near the old, historic windmills of Oia. It is nice to be out of the frey that can occur during the tourist season. Our suite was private (Suite #4) and we had a large hot tub/pool in our spacious patio. The views were unbelievable! Amazing sunsets every night. It is customary for all in Oia to flock to see the sunsets and we avoided the crowds and had ringside seats! The hotel opened a few years ago for dinner service. There are only a few tables and the food was excellent. The setting is aside their beautiful pool overlooking the sea. They float a candle in the pool which adds to the already charming ambiance. They also use real candles on the tables which is always a plus for me. You will climb steps while in Oia, and the 300 or so down to Amoudi Bay is worth the effort. Chrisa, part of the welcome staff suggested a lunch at Armini , which is accessible by boat from the dock of Amoudi Bay, and it was a highlight! Fresh lobster, sea bass, anchovies, oh my! A very memorable experience. They serve dinner too, but enjoying the seaside for lunch as well as seeing the majestic caldera on the boat ride over was perfect. If you don’t feel like hiking back up those stairs (which we did), you can hire a driver to take you back to your destination post dining. The staff could not have been more welcoming at Maregio Suites. The aforementioned charming Chrisa gave us the lay of land upon arrival and one of our waiters, Vlassis, could not have been more attentive and delightful! Tasos and Alexandra at the front reception were also delightful to deal with. HIGHLY recommend this hotel when in Oia! Great suite, views, location, food and service. The best place to stay in Oia!

When you combine a beautifully authentic hotel brimming with character, alongside an excellent staff with great personalities you’re pretty much on to a winner. This is exactly what has happened at Fanari Villas and boy does it work well. We had an amazing week at this lovely hotel which must have the best sunset views in the whole of Santorini. Every night people flock to Oia to watch the beautiful sunset and we never had to move from any of our terrace, pool area or hotel restaurant for the perfect view. As much as we were in love with the panorama from the hotel it was the hotel staff who made this holiday that extra bit special. Everyone we had dealings with were very professional and efficient but also so very friendly and just such nice people. Having met the boss, Mrs Alexandra, I am sure these appointments are not by luck and if she wishes her staff to be a reflection of herself she has recruited very well. Chuck in a top class restaurant and our own indoor cave jacuzzi and I think you can understand why we were in no rush to come home ! Cannot recommend highly enough.

Hotel yang indah! Kakitangan yang sangat mesra. Ia agak berjalan kaki dari perhentian teksi ke hotel dengan banyak tangga, tetapi mereka membantu membawa beg pakaian anda, yang sangat bagus. Mereka juga membantu dengan menempah ujian Covid untuk menaiki pesawat, mengesyorkan restoran dan tempat untuk dikunjungi. Bilik itu benar-benar cantik, dengan balkoni kecil dengan pemandangan laut yang paling indah. Sarapan pagi yang hebat. Langkah pencegahan COVID yang sangat baik. Kami mempunyai penginapan yang menakjubkan dan ingin kembali! Satu-satunya negatif ialah pengemasan. Ia agak berangin pada kebanyakan masa, jadi banyak habuk dari bukit bertiup ke dalam bilik jika anda terus membuka pintu balkoni. Nampaknya penjaga rumah terus lupa mengemop lantai, jadi tapak kaki hitam berjalan tanpa alas kaki di dalam bilik. Tetapi kami bercakap dengan kaunter penerimaan tetamu dan keesokan harinya lantainya bersih. Sekali lagi, kami mempunyai penginapan yang menakjubkan. Sangat mengesyorkan!

We stayed in this hotel 4 nights and the experience was amazing, the food, the view and the excellent services, especially from Hara, she is a wonderful person and a hotel manager that do the best for the guest to relax while in there. She even booked our restaurants and make our breakfast special. Thanks a lot to all of the team and special thanks to Hara. We booked this beautiful little place not knowing what to expect, but it turned out to be a fantastic find. Pros: - Clean and very spacious rooms - Beds are extremely comfortable - The breakfast is lovely & fresh - Close to the centre of Oia - Owners are extremely helpful & friendly - Outside area is picturesque and has stunning views - A lovely selection of restaurants nearby - Bus rout and transport to other areas is close by Cons: - WiFi didn’t seem to work very well at times - Hot water seemed to run out very quickly Only a couple of small things to tweak, but really cannot complain for the money we paid and the level of quality we got. Would stay here again anytime!
