Hotel berhampiran Karlsfeld, Munich

This is the third occasion that I have stayed at Harry’s Home in Munich. On the first occasion it was a very enjoyable experience, however the subsequent two visits were not as satisfactory. The rooms were fine; however, I was unconvinced that my bedding (at least the duvet and pillows rather than the covers) had been cleaned recently as they did not present the freshest aroma. As earlier reviewers have noted, the room keys had to be re set daily which was extremely tedious. On each occasion that we needed to go to reception to have the keys re programmed, the staff on the desk seemed extremely annoyed with the interference to their day. In fact, the staff generally were off hand a bordering on rude. Customer service was absent. The young girl on reception was extremely unpleasant. There were two exceptions to this poor service. Firstly, the nice man on breakfast service and Shahnaza who was very pleasant and helpful. It was finally Shahnaza who helped refund money that had been taken from my bank account by the hotel ‘in error’. I had tried to retrieve the funds on two other occasions and the staff told me they didn’t know how to help and to come back when someone else was on duty.. The cleaning wasn’t great overall. There was a rather unpleasant pungent smell on the corridor on our last day which had been slowly building over the last few days. In conclusion, It is a good location for public transport, parking and proximity to a supermarket. However, the staff really don’t make you feel welcome and warm. Will I return.. I will really try to find an alternative next time.

2nd time here, good spot for us. Approx half way between city and Utd memorial. Few min walk to subway, 10 mins just 3 stops to Sendlinger Tor which is ideal to stroll the shops into the main square Marien Platz.(Kennedy Irish bar right at exit of station, a must for food/ drink.) The hotel rooms good, excellent showers. Tv although tea/ coffee facilities lacked filling and milk. Breakfast continental style good, but lacking on hot breakfast. Pizza / Italian type restaurant attached. Nice little bar area run by Boris, to come back to. Depending on transport Taxi from airport is around 105 euro, about 45 mins. Reception staff very helpful. Quite area around hotelvery little passing traffic. Would return again.

Het hotel ligt aan de rand van het Olypia park in München. Metro is vlakbij. Alles is vrij nieuw. Kamers zijn keurig en zeer schoon. Personeel is uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We kregen zelfs van de manager koffie to go voor onderweg. Ontbijt is goed met voldoende keuze. Ik kan het hotel zeker aanraden en we zullen hier nog zeker een keer terug komen.

No longer Leto, this is a clean, well-run hotel that caters to business travelers. Basic facilities that include good bedding and a quiet location, next to a Lidl, very close to Ubahn. Easy transport from airport and into center of Munich. Maria at front desk was especially helpful before and during my stay.

Hotel staff is nice, room is clean and hotel is located in a nice but quiet area. It’s near the tech companies so good business hotel for employees who travel in for work. It’s about 3 minutes to the nearest subway - just google to KFC, the nearest subway is just next to itZ however it’s not the most convenient subway as the most convenient is the Olympia Einkaufzentrum one as it’s has more connections. There’s a small dishwasher provided so it’s convenient but if you want to wash the dishes manually, there is no dishwashing liquid provided so you have to buy your own. Washers and dryers are located at the basement of the hotel, so not in your room. There’s an app that we have to download to book and pay for the washer and dryer, yes it’s extra charge. No clothes detergent is provided so we have to buy our own - there’s no dispenser at the wash and dry area where one can easily buy the washing detergent. The hotel also doesn’t sell any. We had expected the hotel to at least provide some washing detergent, so don’t get caught without clothes detergent at night, if you plan to wash your clothes at night as the shops are closed after 8 pm… Overall it was a good experience except for the few inconveniences. As a first time visitor to Munich, probably one would want to stay at a location closer to the old town or city area as we found ourselves commuting about half hour every day to the attractions or where we wanted to go.

This accommodations was perfect, even better than I expected. We went with my parents and brother and we got two seperate rooms but with door in between them so we could be together as we wanted but I was also private. Perfect. The staff was kind and helpful. The rooms were well equiped and even though the rooms are smaller there was anything you needed, we only missed electronic kettle to make us a tea, but it was insignificant problem as we had electric heaters so we could heat the water on it. The place is really near to beutiful Olympiapark.

Visited for business. Very comfortable hotel. Let down by some amenities and challenges around covid. Bar seating area is closed off entirely outside of bar hours (even though it is really the main lobby seating) - made very difficult to have business discussions with colleagues. Understand it may be driven by regulations - then I’d recommend marking off a larger area for lobby seating. Rooms comfortable but small - fine for their purpose. Women only floor is appreciated for ‘security’ but no need to give all the ‘fluff’ on top (10 cushions, pink slippers etc) Comfortable relatively firm bed. Walk in shower - need to be careful not to flood with higher pressure (other colleagues also mentioned this). Pleasant staff.

Very convenient and cheap highly recommend, you can find you can find mental station just next to hotel , and very beautiful Olympic park next to hotel

Good location. Team 19 is nearby very easy to get to the city.Laundry service is near by. Breakfast buffet is only 10 Euro but it has lots of good options. The hotel is very affordable and all staff are very friendly I would recommend this to all of my friends.

Good location close to the interstate. Police and fire station nearby. Three underground stations in walking distance. Bus stop over the street. Own parking garage (€15/ngt) which is definitely a pro as free parking around there is kinda non-existent. Rooms are really small, No desk, not even a closet just hangers next to one bedside. Room was very clean, but had damaged light fixture. Breakfast was nice, daily change of ingredients. Love the pancake machine ! Negative was a bad smell in front of the elevators, no bench at the front and they tried to charge me twice for parking.
