Hotel berhampiran Park in Sendling, Munich

Das nicht ganz günstige Dach-Studio mit Balkon war bei Bezug nicht gereinigt.. überall Staub, u.a. Küche verdreckt, Schmutz und Haare an der Bettumrandung etc.! Dias Sofa war durchgesessen, der Teppich darunter schmutzig. Insgesamt war alles sehr verranzt. Anstatt mal richtig zunrenovieren wurde hier überall nur überstrichen. Der externe Room-Service war unterirdisch und wir mussten uns 4x an die Rezeption wenden, um die Reinigung zu veranlassen/Handtücher zu wechseln. Das Personal an der Rezeption war nett aber nicht durchsetzungsstark..wollte alles an die Hotelleitung weitergeben und wir sollten doch bitte eine Mail an diese schreiben….hallo, wo bin ich hier!!!??? Wir hatten einen 2 Wochen-Aufenthalt gebucht und das nicht zum Schnäppchenpreis, die Gegenleistung war absolut enttäuschend und haben unsere Nerven schon ordentlich strapaziert. Das Management sollte sein Konzept generell mal überdenken…mehr eigene Präsenz und den Zustand der Zimmer mal kritisch betrachten. Einfach nur schade….

This hotel is located a few train stops away (Station: Harras) from the central train station, so it was not difficult to get to it. The infrastructure of the city is such that getting around is relatively easy. One just has to follow the directions on a map, whether physical or online, and you are good to go. The check-in process was smooth. I realise getting up and walking to where my room is, that the hotel is quite large, so if you are not up to walking a lot; ask for a room close to the elevator. The room is large and well maintained. I appreciate the bottle of water on top of the minibar fridge for guests. There is a breakfast place just a short walk away if having breakfast at the hotel is not something you would like. Not a minor issue, but it does say in the directory of services that laundry items sent in before 8.30am would be returned by 7pm the same day. However, mine was not and luckily, I was not departing the hotel the next day. It was attributed to a manpower shortage, says the front desk team member; and I know it to be a prevalent issue worldwide. The internet connection in the room is also very slow, especially in the evenings, in my opinion. If you decide to forgo the servicing of your room, hang a “go green” pouch on the doorknob and you will receive a surprise gift. Aside from the bakery around the corner, there are a few eateries close by. Despite the shortcomings, it was an enjoyable, fuss-free stay.

Wir waren im Juni dort für eine Nacht zu Gast. Eig war der Grund unseres Besuchs in München die dort stattfindende Fußball-EM. Da wir durch die Absage des Turniers nun gerne zu einem anderen Zeitpunkt kommen wollten, baten wir um eine Umbuchung. Erstmal war es extrem schwierig den Hotelmanager ans Telefon zu bekommen. Und wenn man ihn dann zu sprechen bekam, hat er einen immer nur vertröstet. Das Umbuchen war äußerst kompliziert, die schriftliche Bestätigung haben wir erst einen Tag vorher bekommen. Vor Ort wurde uns gesagt, dass man durch die Umbuchung einen niedrigeren Preis zahlen müsse. Die Rückzahlung müsse nun nur durch den Hotelmanager genehmigt werden. Wir bekamen dann eine Mail, in der geschrieben stand, dass wir froh sein können, dass wir umbuchen konnten. Kulanterweise haben sie uns das gebuchte Frühstück erlassen, dass wir storniert haben, weil wir in der Innenstadt frühstücken gehen wollten. Wir haben die Leistung nicht in Anspruch genommen und mussten sie sogar auch nicht bezahlen!! Wow!! Wenn wir früher einchecken wollten (das Hotel war ziemlich leer und das Zimmer schon hergerichtet!!) hätten wir pro Zimmer 20€ zahlen sollen! Völlig übertrieben!!! Ich kann dieses Hotel von den Zimmer her bedingt für eine Nacht empfehlen. Die Zimmer sind sauber, aber klein. Unser Wasserhahn war nicht fest und ließ sich nicht richtig bedienen. Wir werden dort auf keinen Fall nochmal buchen!

First time to Germany and Octoberfest and can say this hotel is in a great location. A lot of great experiences including Octoberfest and restaurants within 10-15 minutes walk. Pros: Location Lobby/bar/restaurant (kind of all one thing but it works) Staff - most spoke English well enough to understand you. They were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast- My wife was not impressed but I thought it was better than typical ”continental” breakfast you get in a US hotel. Not obvious but they have a carafe of drip coffee near the expresso machine. Quiet - we had a courtyard room and it was very quiet. The bar/restaurant extends into the courtyard which I thought would be a problem but they have everyone come inside I think around 10 ish so we did not hear the bar noise. Cons: We had room 20 on the ground floor. Very small by U.S. standards but we expected that. The big issue was the bathroom/shower. The shower is ”enclosed” by shower curtains that have about a 3” gap at the bottom. No sill to catch water either. After showering most of the floor would be wet requiring us to utilize more towels to dry it. At first we thought maybe it was a handicap room but the second issue with bathroom negated that thought. The bathroom door is super heavy duty for some reason. I mean like probably fire proof rated. It was heavy to open and close due to the self closing mechanism. Maybe that is code in Germany but seems unnecessary to me. We had to use one of the room stools to prop it open to help air it out after showers. We stayed with several other couples and saw their rooms which had better bathroom set ups so maybe room 20 is just the one to avoid. Would stay here again just not that room.

Nice modern hotel with sauna and good breakfast. Room was ok, internet connection was also fine. Location is good with nice parks, Augustiner brewery, supermarkets and public transport stops nearby. Overall service could be improved. Our room wasn’t cleaned every day, even with the request on the door lock. We asked for compensation and nothing was offered on their side, except for 20 euro discount but we have had the same price with booking website. Hotel manager has forgotten to extend our stay and I spent an extra 30 minutes explaining the same to his colleague and getting new keys to the room. Even after we got our room cleaned upon request our bed linen hasn’t been changed. Also consider the charge of 50 euro deposit. It won’t be released immediately after the checkout.

This is a lovely warm hotel. We arrived late due to rail strikes, which made transport to the hotel a pain. However, once we were checked in, we were straight up the the room which was toasty (really toasty!). Breakfast was a continental buffet style with plenty of everything and some of the items changed on a daily basis. The hotel bar was open on Saturday and Sunday, where their barman, Boris was extremely friendly, warm, polite and helpful. He also takes a keen interest in football. I would also like to give Filip and his team at reception a shout out as they were extremely helpful. For those who read the reviews saying they could not speak either English or German, we found this to be simply not true. Their English was fluent as was their German. We had wanted to come back out to Munich specifically to stay here again this year but unfortunately that will now have to wait until next year. If you want the u-bahn, it is a 2 minute walk from the hotel reception (turn left from the door, left again, cross at the lights and you are there).

Excellent location, pubilc transport just outside the hotel, staff is helpful, rooms are quite big, beds are big and comfortable. Check in and out quick and easy. Wi fi signal can be better. Overall quite nice accomodation for reasonable price.

Un buon hotel, rinnovato in parte recentemente , camere standard confortevoli e ben pulite , la nostra aveva la doccia nella vasca da bagno . Per chi ama girare, la metropolitana è a circa a 400 metri e ti porta in centro città in un quarto d'ora.

I stayed with my family for 4 nights. Everything was great location, breakfast and clean rooms. However, I would like to point out the exceptional behaviour of the whole personnel with a special reference to the manager and Mrs Marianna Zampa. Thank you once again for your great help.

Simple hotel, extremely busy with very rude staff. Stayed for the start & end of a tour. There were no clean towels so we were left with 4 hand towels to dry ourselves with. Desk staff rude & uninterested. Breakfast extremely busy and felt like feeding time at the zoo. If travelling for myself again I definitely would not stay here
