HVD Reina del Mar - Premium Spa Service & Free Parking

I rented a villa in July 2024 for myself, my husband, and our granddaughter. We paid an incredibly high amount for just four days, €3,640, money I regret down to the last cent. I'm writing in Romanian because I believe that 90% of the tourists were my fellow citizens. Many of them got deals, but since we booked shortly before leaving, we paid this huge amount. My reasons for dissatisfaction are many. I'll list just a few: - Plenty of food, but poorly cooked, likely from cheap ingredients, with many sauces and strange combinations. - The beef was inedible, full of gristle, and impossible to chew. - The fish, not very varied, was mostly fried in a lot of oil or covered with a thick crust of flour and egg. - The vegetables and fruits were tasteless. - The whole hotel needs renovation; it's clear that it has been overused. - There's always a long line at the beach bar, probably to discourage consumption. - The beach towels are very worn out. - The à la carte restaurants keep almost the same menu daily. - Some staff members show no hint of friendliness. I could list many more, but I’ll just give you my conclusion: I would never go back and would not recommend it to friends. A vastly overrated location.

Everything was great, I had a 5-star stay, with a lot of fun from the animators and those who prepared shows dedicated to both children and adults. We will definitely come back here! And the beach party was awesome with good music and great dancers!

We travelled to Bulgaria for the first time and will definitely return. The premise is only few years old and an oasis of luxury. Paired with the amazing food at the buffet and the impeccable team we had an exceptional time there. Our 2 daughters (3 and 6) loved it as well. Great entertainment team and kids club as well a well maintained beach. The spa and sauna facilities are fantastic. Finally the gym is the best equipped one, I,d ever seen in a hotel or resort. Further, if you like it clean, that’s the place to be.

I think it is a truly 5 star hotel. Clean & new, a good and nice location. Staff is very kind and professional. Also the entertainers are very nice and funny, expecially Aurelia and Victor!! We also liked the food. It's a good hotel for family with children. The rooms and the pools are clean & nice and the beach is also good. Very good atmosphere!! We'll surely be back!!! I have been here for the second time and we like it. Everything is just amazing, activities for kids and adults, and the location is perfect. We are happy to find here Aurelia , and she is so cool, with a great heart , helpful and you are lucky to have her at the resort..Thank you a lot for your good work and generosity. One of the best experience ever! One week vacation to this lovely place. Front office manager (Kalojam Procopovici) is one kind and professional human and manager. This kind of managers is what the world needs. He takes his job with pride and take care his guests. My husband was with a broken leg and FO made it much easier for us. They give us a room next to the pools and closer to the beach and kids club,that was very well appreciated. As a former hotel manager I see things from all the perspectives, this place has it all. From Yoanna at the ice cream cafeteria shop, to the girls at the kids club,lady at the spa, bell boys, servers in the restaurant they all make you feel welcome and appreciated. It's truly 5 star hotel. Clean, new, very good location and nice. Staff is very professional , very kind and helpful . Good kitchen .It's very good hotel for family with children . Pools are clean ,beach is good. Very good atmosphere . We'll back.

Everything was amazing. Impeccable cleanliness, diversified food, quality drinks and last but not least the staff, who amazed us with their helpfulness and professionalism. I will list some of them, which I remember with regret because I don't know their names anymore: Aurelia, Teodor, DJ, the team from Turkey, bartenders and waiters, the guys on the rollers, Selim, the team of dancers from Cuba, the girls who they sang to us and delighted, also from Cuba and all the others from restaurants, bars, etc. In a word, professionals! Thank you all, I will come back with love!

I will tell you about our "5 star" experience Don't be fooled by the reviews of Romanian influencers. You'll pay extra for a vacation where no one will give a dime to you. Indeed, the services are ultra all inclusive. This means that you will receive individually packaged international drinks and a wide variety of food. And that's it. During our stay they started to do work (installation of new walls, doors - drills - galage), of course between 12-00 and 15:00, when everyone retires to the room. The first time I tried to talk to the workers, they laughed in my face. I later called reception, we had the first room next to the wonderful works. They told me that they understand the situation and will stop them. This did not happen. I went to the reception afterwards, where again, I was promised that they would stop them. I explained to them that I understand that they have to work, but that I think they have to do this in the intervals when most of them are at the beach or at the pool. They proved me right, but they still didn't stop. He didn't even care that we were with a child, who wasn't feeling too well and I really needed to put him to sleep. On the third descent, when we already had audio recordings of all the banging and noises, they finally called a manager, who tried to explain that he understood us, and that he would extend our departure by a few hours or offer us a spa package. I told him that we don't need anything, just to receive exactly what we paid for and not to be taken for granted. No one stopped the workers until they had finished their work. So I can tell you for sure, for the money you pay for this stay, you can find better conditions elsewhere, and respect. The rest is the same story with the deckchairs, they get stuck with towels, each one catches.
