Location: this is a one-minute walk from the Middle Gate / entrance to the Jinshanling Great Wall (the best location for an early start as the gate opens as early as 4-5am) and has great value for money compared to other farmstays or hotels with this proximity to the entrance. Cleaniness: spacious and clean room with all the necessary amenities, though most are single-use so bring your own if you would like to be environmentally-conscious. The bathroom also had only a half-door so there was a chance that water from the showerhead may spill out a bit. Service: the host was super friendly and knowledgeable. Ms. Li is able to tell you about the best hiking paths, hiking time, and ways to get around / get back. She can also help you arrnage transport to nearby Gubei Watertown or tell you how to get back to city centre Beijing if you ask. As all farmstays do they have their own restaurant that can cook just about any typical home-cooked meals (and they are flexible with portions and pricing, depending on the size of your group). There is a small shop area at reception if you need some last-minute supplies for the Great Wall (food and drinks mostly). 100% recommended for those who wish to get an early start to the Great Wall with a decent night's sleep and some comfort meals.

入住前會有工作人員聯繫添加管家微信，但是管家消息其實回覆的並不及時，可能是需要服務的人太多了，我覺得如果沒有辦法完成這項服務的話，還不如不要。 整體來講工作人員的態度是很好的，私湯小哥介紹的很細心，很熱情，出行約車也基本上挺快的，不會等很久，園區造景做的確實不錯，綠化做的很好，見山本院氣氛很好，很日式，minibar有送飲料，還有特色山楂小零食，味道不錯，私湯的環境非常不錯，整趟旅程最滿意的地方就是這個泡池，可以穿泳衣泡，也可以裸泡，備品很齊全，一次性內褲，浴袍。動線設計合理，有贈送糕點，味道還可以，泡完還可以泡茶，準備的水是農夫山泉嬰兒水，還有冰的礦泉水。但是，唯一的一個問題是，不知道為什麼音響藍牙一直連接不上，不過有準備cd，所以稍微有一點遺憾。 但是同樣酒店的問題也蠻多蠻明顯的。 入住第一天打開防滑墊，防滑墊是有半截是濕的！還有不明捲曲毛髮，觀感不是很好。 酒店有很多地方還在修，能看到拉的布，目前的話整體的園區面積有一點太小了，除了泡湯，以外沒有什麼特別活動了，客房沒有送餐服務，感覺不是很方便呢。 酒店的早餐可以自選，但是早餐都沒有涼水，普通純凈水提供，小夜衹有飲料，拾味山谷衹有熱水，有特色的早餐挺好的，但是應該有普通的水和咖啡吧，畢竟也不算便宜的經濟酒店了。第二個問題是拾味山谷的粗糧盒，上的時候都已經是冷的了，這個體驗不是很好，而且這兩家有點太小了，早上熱門時間段有點擁擠，很亂 整體還是不錯的！很適合帶長者小孩來玩。

We had a perfect stay at the Tuke Light hotel. The hotel was conveniently close to the railway station, as well as to several bus stops, which we could use to get around town. The room was comfy, clean, modern, and everything worked just as expected. We used the complimentary laundry facility, and also there everything was new and clean. The hotel staff was the perfect addition to this already good hotel: they were kind, helpful, and went out of their way to help us have a pleasant stay and enjoy as much time as we could in Chengde. Really recommended!!

Our stay at Shanhai Premium Guesthouse was an incredibly peaceful and rejuvenating experience! The mountain surroundings were absolutely breathtaking, with fresh crisp air that immediately washed away all our city stress. The room was cozy and well-designed, featuring traditional Chinese elements blended with modern amenities. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating, always ready to help with any requests. The location was perfect for exploring the Wuling Mountain area, and we loved waking up to the sound of birds and seeing the misty mountain views every morning. The hiking trails nearby were well-maintained and offered stunning views of the landscape. Although it was a bit remote, that was exactly what we were looking for - a true escape from urban life. The local breakfast was delicious and featured fresh, organic ingredients from the area. We particularly enjoyed the evening stargazing, as the night sky was crystal clear away from city lights. This place is absolutely perfect for couples seeking a romantic getaway or anyone looking to reconnect with nature. We would definitely recommend this hidden gem to all our friends and family, and we plan to return again in the different seasons to experience the changing beauty of the mountains. I cannot recommend this farmhouse enough! If you are visiting the Jinshanling Great Wall, staying here is an absolute must. The location is perfect, featuring a beautiful rooftop terrace where you can sit and look directly at the Great Wall in total peace. The room itself was modern, and clean, with a great AC, but set right in the middle of a charming, authentic farm. But the absolute highlight of my stay was the host family. The hospitality is unmatched. The Owner Lady of the house cooked some of the most delicious, massive, and authentic meals I’ve had in China, and she went completely out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and well-fed. The food was also unbelievably affordable. The Owner truly went above and beyond for me. When I was struggling to find a reasonably priced car back to Beijing, he spent hours late at night helping me on WeChat, making sure I wasn't overcharged by local drivers. He eventually helped me find a cheap, highly scenic train route back to the city and personally drove me to the local station. They treated a solo foreign traveler like absolute family. If you want a genuine, heartwarming, and frictionless experience at the Great Wall, book this place. 太好吃了 and 谢谢 to the amazing hosts!”

It’s a family-owned place, they are extremely nice and helpful, it’s ideal for the Great wall trekking. They came to fetch us at the atation and took care . Don’t miss the broiled trout and the aunerginea for dinner, they are fantastic

We stayed one night at Jinshanling Hanting B&B, and the location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from the Great Wall. It’s the perfect spot to catch both sunrise and sunset; the wall opened at 5 a.m. when we visited in early November. Breakfast was included, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We’d definitely recommend staying overnight for the better light and calmer atmosphere instead of doing a day trip. There’s also a great café nearby. To find the place: walk to the entrance gate, turn right, and it’s on the right side after about 30–50 meters.

Berhampiran dengan Jinshanling, anda boleh melihat Tembok Besar dengan beberapa orang pada awal petang. Halaman mempunyai persekitaran yang indah dan kemudahan yang sangat baik, terutamanya bilik mandi. Ia layak menjadi hotel yang besar, jauh lebih baik daripada B&B. Terdapat jalan makanan di sebelah hotel, dan terdapat rumah ladang berdekatan di mana anda boleh makan makanan ladang. Kanak-kanak seronok bermain di halaman rumah. Absolutely loving this place! The vibes is totally awesome and a nice place to chill with lots of activities to do, though unfortunately we only had one night here as we only planned to hike Jin Shan Ling, but we will definitely be back for more next round! Service and hospitality is top notch and absolutely grateful to have such a nice bunch of staff who were super friendly and warm. The hotel was near Jin Shan Ling (about 5 mins drive) and they even offered to drive and pick us to and fro the hotel and Jin Shan Ling. Within the hotel, they were concerned with us feeling cold so they ferried us to our room as our room was a few mins walk away, and fetched us from our room to the lobby when we wanted to hang out at their chill areas there which turned out to be really relaxing. They served super sumptuous meals including a hot pot set which was great for winter and even offered us complimentary dishes as part of winter solstice. One of the staff named Henry Zhang gave us a tour at their exhibition centre showing the various scenic areas in 四季山, 金山岭 and 北京城! We enjoyed the experience sharing from him and the explanation to the various attraction sites, appreciate the sweet gesture as he didn’t actually had to do that but he did so! Room was absolutely great and spacious, extremely clean and comfortable with heaters inside the restrooms which was super nice. It was a good night rest for us. Breakfast was their local dishes which was great too and super filling (buns, eggs, porridge, dough sticks, specialty cold dishes). All in all, we had no complains from the time we checked in, super loved the experience and it definitely make us want to book another trip here again soon! 特别喜欢这里的服务，在这里住的很舒服也非常开心。好美的地方和人，令我都马上想在订下一趟旅程来这里了！好可惜我们只住了一晚因为我们本来只是想爬金山岭，如果能待多几天那该多好。。简直完美! ❤️
