The mountain surroundings were absolutely breathtaking, with fresh crisp air that immediately washed away all our city stress. The room was cozy and well-designed, featuring traditional Chinese elements blended with modern amenities. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating, always ready to help with any requests. The location was perfect for exploring the Wuling Mountain area, and we loved waking up to the sound of birds and seeing the misty mountain views every morning. The hiking trails nearby were well-maintained and offered stunning views of the landscape. Although it was a bit remote, that was exactly what we were looking for - a true escape from urban life. The local breakfast was delicious and featured fresh, organic ingredients from the area. We particularly enjoyed the evening stargazing, as the night sky was crystal clear away from city lights. This place is absolutely perfect for couples seeking a romantic getaway or anyone looking to reconnect with nature. We would definitely recommend this hidden gem to all our friends and family, and we plan to return again in the different seasons to experience the changing beauty of the mountains. PPengguna TetamuNous avons fait la randonnée sur la Muraille de Chine de Gubeikou à Jinshanling et nous avons choisis cet hôtel pour nous reposer après la journée. Le logement est idéalement situé, juste à côté de la porte d’entrée pour la Muraille. L’hôte était très accueillant et la chambre était spacieuse, propre et très confortable. Toutes les belles photos que vous voyez dans son établissement ont été prises par l’hôte lui même !
Comme nous étions en basse saison et que la majorité des commerces étaient fermés, l’hôte nous a proposé de cuisiner pour nous le dîner et le petit déjeuner. Il cuisine délicieusement bien. Il propose également ses services de taxi, il a pu nous emmener le lendemain matin à la gare de Gubeikou pour notre retour à Pékin. Nous le remercions énormément pour ce merveilleux séjour à Jinshanling et nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Transportation by car was arranged to and from the train station as well as for heading up the hill at 6am to the Jinshanling great wall park entrance to catch sunrise from the Great Wall at the top. It is possible to just walk up to the gate instead, it just takes longer to walk the 2 km to the ticket checking gate, and there is then still some maybe 15 mins of walking uphill before getting to the top. Photos show the view from my room, the menu of the hotel restaurant, dinner (尖椒豆片炒肉), and breakfast (fried rice and soup).

GGeneric UserI don't normally bother to write reviews, but this place is truly deserving of one. Our stay at Anaya was amazing to say the least. The place was so beautiful and serene, rivaling many of the luxury ryokans in Japan but with their own modern twist. We stayed in the queen room, and it’s fairly simple but more than adequate and comfortable. The in-room drinks and snacks were delicious, and they provided an additional special treat each day, which was an experience on its own. There wasn't a television, but we never felt that there was a need for one. It was a place where you can truly focus on unwinding and take things slow, but when needed, the Wi-Fi speed is sufficient for streaming on your own devices. The hotel is unique where you can just do everything within their compounds without needing to travel anywhere else. We really loved the Japanese bookstore, which is a must-visit, and spend some time admiring the garden next to it. They provide activities as well, so you will never feel like there is nothing to do. The spas are also highly recommended, which in fact warrants a trip all on its own even if you do not stay at the hotel. One of the spas is a re-purposed factory, and it's a truly unique experience which will appeal to architecture enthusiasts. Food was a little pricey, but you have a lot of options, and the ones we had were great. They even had their own provision shop for you to stock up on snacks and drinks. One of the main factors that truly elevated our experience was the exceptional service from Zhi Hui. She went above and beyond to share her personal contact in order to make sure we were well taken care of, answering our questions promptly and making arrangements for us. She even followed up with us after our departure to make sure we arrived at our next destination safely. The other staff around the hotel, including the restaurants, were also very friendly and helpful. There was even a sweet young lady selling what they harvested from the mountains as well as small snack stores, one of which was operated by a very friendly lady selling Japanese-style desserts. Our interactions with the people all felt really genuine and sincere. The experience wouldn't have been so wonderful if it weren't for our very pleasant experience with the people working in and around the hotel. They normally use a multi-seater buggy to ferry guests around, but when we were caught in the rain, they actually arranged a car to pick us up instead. Anaya Lanya Hotel is simply extraordinary, and we cannot recommend it enough.

PPengguna TetamuWe stayed one night at Jinshanling Hanting B&B, and the location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from the Great Wall. It’s the perfect spot to catch both sunrise and sunset; the wall opened at 5 a.m. when we visited in early November. Breakfast was included, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We’d definitely recommend staying overnight for the better light and calmer atmosphere instead of doing a day trip. There’s also a great café nearby. To find the place: walk to the entrance gate, turn right, and it’s on the right side after about 30–50 meters.

PPengguna TetamuTypical three star hotel. Staff have a good attitude, especially the floor managers and are willing to accommodate guests. Still, the hotel is a bit overpriced for its class , possibly because of the hot springs available to hotel guests. Hotel is close to the garden but it sits right on the tran track and the train whistle will surely wake you up at 4:30am. Some of the front desk staff are very young and apparently still in training (the receptionist took me to the room but let me carry my luggage). Breakfast is traditional , quite good.

GGary Ong Wei KiatAbsolutely loving this place! The vibes is totally awesome and a nice place to chill with lots of activities to do, though unfortunately we only had one night here as we only planned to hike Jin Shan Ling, but we will definitely be back for more next round!
Service and hospitality is top notch and absolutely grateful to have such a nice bunch of staff who were super friendly and warm. The hotel was near Jin Shan Ling (about 5 mins drive) and they even offered to drive and pick us to and fro the hotel and Jin Shan Ling. Within the hotel, they were concerned with us feeling cold so they ferried us to our room as our room was a few mins walk away, and fetched us from our room to the lobby when we wanted to hang out at their chill areas there which turned out to be really relaxing.
They served super sumptuous meals including a hot pot set which was great for winter and even offered us complimentary dishes as part of winter solstice.
One of the staff named Henry Zhang gave us a tour at their exhibition centre showing the various scenic areas in 四季山, 金山岭 and 北京城! We enjoyed the experience sharing from him and the explanation to the various attraction sites, appreciate the sweet gesture as he didn’t actually had to do that but he did so!
Room was absolutely great and spacious, extremely clean and comfortable with heaters inside the restrooms which was super nice. It was a good night rest for us.
Breakfast was their local dishes which was great too and super filling (buns, eggs, porridge, dough sticks, specialty cold dishes).
All in all, we had no complains from the time we checked in, super loved the experience and it definitely make us want to book another trip here again soon!

MMooMooooLokasi hotel ini sangat baik jika anda ingin melakukan matahari terbit awal pagi di tembok Besar Jingshanlin. Hotel ini terletak betul-betul di kaki pintu masuk tembok besar!
Dari masa kami mendaftar masuk untuk mendaftar keluar, kepada kakitangan di restoran, mereka semua memberikan perkhidmatan yang sangat baik, dengan senyuman yang baik, keramahan dan bersedia membantu jika anda mempunyai sebarang pertanyaan. Mereka sangat akomodatif untuk keperluan kami juga kerana kami mempunyai beberapa daripada kami yang vegetarian.
Sarapan yang disediakan pada waktu pagi sangat baik dan sangat menyegarkan. Sihat juga. Jika anda mahukan lebih banyak perkara yang anda suka, mereka akan mengeluarkannya semula. Kami makan di restoran pada waktu malam juga, dan makanannya sedap.
Bilik ini mempunyai semua kemudahan yang anda perlukan. Sayang sekali spa tidak dibuka semasa kami berada di sana (kerana penyelenggaraan).
Secara keseluruhan, tempat yang sangat baik untuk tinggal, betul-betul di kaki tembok besar. Tembok besar Jingshanlin cantik dan salah satu bahagian tembok besar yang indah. Pasti berbaloi untuk dikunjungi.
