My husband and I really enjoyed our 2-night stay in the Ziling Mountain View Suite. The entire villa is beautifully decorated but in a way that feels lived in rather than pretentious. It's like being invited to a friend's home in the mountains. If you are a book-lover like me, you will enjoy the villa and rooms even more because there are shelves full of books everywhere you look. When you are not seeing books, you are seeing the stunning gardens or views of the surrounding mountains. We loved the daybed in our suite, covered in colourful pillows with a window that perfectly frames the mountain view and we spent evenings curled up there with books. During the day we were in search of hikes and our host, who loves to travel and hike himself, had lots of thoughtful recommendations. There is a very steep (and beautiful) trail just steps away from the house that leads you up the mountain through bamboo forest, past a local temple, and up to a field with sweeping views. We had both breakfast and dinner at the villa and the food was incredible, including very fresh fruit and vegetables, simple and delicious noodles, and beautifully cooked pork, chicken, and seafood dishes. We were also treated to homemade Tiramisu (made by the owner). It feels like the owner genuinely enjoys sharing this beautiful property with guests and finding ways to help make your experience unique and memorable. This was my first time in China and warm and generous hosts like this, combined with the beauty of the area, make me eager to return.

An excellent weekend Getaway from Shanghai. Our stay in Arcadia was amazing, located in a beautiful mountain valley of MoganShan the setting was perfect for a relaxing break. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly and the food was always delicious and freshly prepared for us. We spent most of our time sat by the pool or in the Jacuzzi. It’s also a lovely spot to bring your dog, with an enclosed garden and lots of space. Definitely recommend to stay!

The staff was beyond kind and made sure to communicate with me daily through WeChat (as there was a language barrier and they wanted to make sure the communication has no problems) about dinner reservations and cleaning the room. They made sure to provide a wonderful experience and helped me with all my requests. They also had an outdoor pool which can be used at any time along with 3 possible walking paths. 2 leading into the mountain and the third leading back to the lake you pass on your way to the hotel. I also tried the lunch and dinner which were both filling to the point where I could not finish the food (although I tried my best), both were 48rmb and 130rmb respectively. The breakfast is also just Chinese dishes, but filling and full of flavor. I also got to take home some homemade snacks! I also tried the outdoor hot tub for 480 rmb, which was worth the money. They provided some snacks, a warm drink and nature provided the rest. The only thing that could have been better is if it had rained. There are also a lot of places to sit and relax. You can play guitar, read, drink tea, and more! And of course a lot of places to take great pictures of your holiday. Finally, make sure to try their homemade plum liquor and to spend time with the cats! They are adorable (one took over my bed and we cuddled while I read)!!

A Comfortable, Pet-Friendly Stay with a Few Areas for Improvement The hotel can be difficult to identify when you first arrive because there is no sign directly on the building. Instead, the sign is attached to a gate that usually remains open, so it becomes partially folded and easy to miss. The hotel also does not have on-site parking. Guests park across the street at the restaurant where breakfast is served each morning. Breakfast was traditional Chinese and included steamed buns, sweet potato, a hard-boiled egg, watermelon, tea, and milk. Everything was very tasty. Coffee was also available, but it cost extra. The people looking after the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. When we arrived, they were filling the swimming pool after cleaning it and told us it would be ready later that day. Although the pool was one of the main reasons we booked the hotel, it did not quite meet our cleanliness standards because the deeper areas still appeared slightly cloudy. However, many other guests were comfortable using it, and we saw people enjoying the pool every day. The library area was absolutely gorgeous, but unfortunately, there was a strong smell of mildew that made it difficult to spend much time there. These were the main drawbacks of our stay. Our room, however, was lovely. It smelled fresh, the bed was firm and very comfortable, and the sheets were clean. The staff emptied the rubbish and replenished our drinking water every day. The bathroom products were high quality, and toothbrushes were provided upon arrival. The room would have been even better if there had been enough towels for everyone staying in it and if the water had been slightly hotter. The hotel is located directly beside the river, with access to a peaceful riverside walk through beautiful gardens. There is also an elevated walkway farther down the road that looked interesting, although we did not have the opportunity to explore it. The river area was especially relaxing, and if I return, I would bring folding chairs and a small folding table so we could sit in the shallow water, relax, and play games. Most attractions and restaurants are approximately a 20-minute drive from the hotel. The receptionist tried to help us with maps and itineraries. Unfortunately, even after attempting to find the same hike on three different days, we were unable to locate the trailhead. It seemed that even local residents were not very familiar with the exact route. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is that it is pet-friendly and does not charge an additional pet fee, which was an important reason we chose it. The gentleman at reception also helped us secure a dinner reservation at Naked Ranch, where we had a wonderful evening. Moganshan is a beautiful destination, and overall, this hotel provided a comfortable stay. There is certainly some room for improvement, but I would return because I slept incredibly well and appreciated the warm, helpful service. Thank you again to the staff for all their assistance.

We had an amazing stay at Naked Stables Resort. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by nature, making it the perfect place to relax and disconnect. Our room was comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully designed, and every detail made our stay even more enjoyable. A special thanks to Joan, who was absolutely wonderful throughout our stay. She was incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Her warm hospitality and genuine care made us feel truly welcome, and she played a big part in making our experience smooth, enjoyable, and memorable. I had an amazing experience at the Naked Castle resort. The views are breathtaking, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the entire property feels like a perfect escape from the noise of the city. The rooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. Every part of the resort feels carefully thought out and well maintained. A special shout-out to Alice Ma at Naked Bites — she was genuinely one of the highlights of the trip. Her service was warm, attentive, and professional. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and her friendly energy really made the dining experience special. She is an absolute star and a credit to the resort.

Good for taking beautiful photos for the social media but rather poor user experience. Aesthetics of this place are good, some corners are really charming. Still it is the comfort that we value the most in a hotel as well as the quality service and unfortunately they are not at the same level of the aesthetics. The room is huge but there is no sofa or chairs to sit and chat comfortably, just the two enormous heavy armchairs in the opposite corners of this long room. No mini bar/fridge, very poor lighting at the wash basin, impossible to do makeup. Zero privacy in the wc and shower since there are no actual doors there, just some short saloon style doors hanging in the middle, letting out the water from the shower and odors from the toilet. No hangers for the towels. No bathrobes provided which is strange for the hotel who’s main entertainment facility is the outdoor pool. At the outdoor pool there are very few deck chairs and no umbrellas at all. The communication was poor, mostly over wechat, since the staff speaks basically no English. We have asked twice, in advance, about the vegetarian option for breakfast and still they brought us meat in the breakfast set (only Chinese style food is available). Altogether the experience was rather disappointing. Glad to have booked just one night there. As for the surroundings, there is no access to the bamboo forest behind the hotel or across the road. And beware of the aggressive unleashed dogs in the village across the road if you decide to go for a stroll near the hotel.

1. On the service: Resort is very big, need to always wait for someone to pick you up in a golf cart. Having bikes or a cart would've been helpful but the hotel, in my case 小月 is very responsive on wechat as soon we ask for something. New towels, water, a car, they usually send within 10mn. 2. On the facilities, beautiful, and we were lucky to be at a time where it was quite empty. Pool area is a great spot. Hot tub on the balcony of the room was a great experience. Bedding was very comfortable and that's important to us to get good sleep on holiday. Their saunas in the bamboo forest are beautiful, they should market it better because I had not noticed it when booking :). Small note of improvement -＞ a metal door handle on the inside of a sauna is a bad idea, people burn their hands on it. But other than that really great. 3. Food: you dont come here for the culinary experience but I've definitely have had much worse. Overall, pretty wide variety of above average choice. The resort is far away from town and so we had prepared some of our own snacks to bring with us in anticipation. No disappointment there, all according to what we had expected based on what we saw online. Other than that it was clean (some bugs here and there, and quite a bit of mosquitoes, but you're in a forest/country area so it is what it is), staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall we had a great stay!

對於山頂的賓館來説，這樣的硬件算總體可以了。房間也不潮濕，該有的都有。就是9號樓這裏的窗户好小沒有陽台，對於有洗曬需求的住客不太方便。 住了2晚，第一晚有半扇窗沒有關，結果半夜聽到蟬不斷砸窗台然後又拚命地叫，幾百幾千衹一起叫的那種，有點像在鋸木頭。哈哈哈！第二晚關了窗就聽不見了，長者小孩倒是完全沒被吵醒，山裡的空氣太好了吧。 環境的5分更多是户外的無邊泳池！泳池這裏的風景太好看了！！！如果不怕曬願意每天去游泳，那麼住這裏性價比太高了吧！N年前住過的新加坡有個最出名的無邊泳池感覺也不如這個好看，可能本人更喜歡純自然的景色吧！泳池的值班小哥哥非常非常的負責，我們遊晚了還在認真地多等了10分鐘也沒有催，還囑咐長者孩子走慢一點。 又，山上吃飯性價比不高，倒不如直接在酒店的餐廳解決了，還有前台給的8折券，建議單點就可以，性價比高比套餐好得多。還有咖啡館的披薩很不錯，小孩子很喜歡。

Moshangyin hotel is a wonderful place for a relaxing getaway in Moganshan. The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet, perfect for resting, slowing down, and enjoying nature away from busy city life. The interior design is beautifully done, creating a warm and comfortable environment from the moment you arrive. The room was excellent, very cozy and well-maintained, with a beautiful mountain view that makes the whole experience even more special. One of the highlights is the tea room, which is thoughtfully designed for tea preparation and relaxation. The decoration combines traditional and modern elements in a very tasteful way, with beautiful details, instruments, and carefully selected design pieces. The entire space feels artistic and calming. The property is surrounded by abundant greenery and plants everywhere, especially outdoors, which makes the environment feel fresh and natural. Sitting there and looking out toward the bamboo forests is incredibly peaceful and contemplative. Whether the weather is sunny or cloudy, the atmosphere remains equally pleasant and charming. Another lovely detail is the nearby stream—you can hear the gentle sound of flowing water, which adds even more tranquility to the stay. The staff are very kind, welcoming, and attentive, making guests feel comfortable, almost as if they are in their own natural home environment. The guests staying there are also respectful and pleasant, contributing to the calm atmosphere. Transportation is also very convenient, with taxis arriving quickly and reliably. There is a nearby village called Yucun that is lovely to visit, and many scenic areas around the hotel are easily accessible as well. Overall, this is an ideal place for anyone looking for peace, beautiful design, nature, and a truly relaxing experience in Moganshan.
