Every detail of the soft furnishings reflects thoughtful care, from the tea sets to the decorative accents, all exuding a charming traditional Chinese elegance. The public areas are incredibly unique, with a giant镂空 (carved/hollowed-out) art installation complemented by vintage stone steps – every shot looks like it's from a magazine! It's perfect for relaxing or for striking a pose for photos. The entire place is clean and tidy, with an open and comfortable layout. It's an ideal escape from the city's hustle and bustle, perfect for a relaxing getaway in the mountains. Whether you're looking for solitude or a cozy stay with friends, it's absolutely fantastic. It's already on my list for a second visit, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful mountain retreat!"

"Pros: I booked a standard room but really wanted one with a balcony, and they tried their best to accommodate. Maybe I got lucky, but I was able to check in around 1 PM that day. You can tell the staff are really trying hard, but there are too many guests and too few staff members. Personally, I don't blame the staff; it seems like a management issue. Cons: Setting aside the software (I assume they mean the booking system or app), the hotel overall lacks any resort feel. There are several major flaws. 1. The pool is incredibly small and very poorly designed. Don't be fooled by the online photos; behind the pool are a bunch of air conditioning units from the main building. Plus, it's surrounded by buildings, making you feel like you're swimming while being watched by everyone. 2. The gym is tiny, with just two treadmills and a few other machines. That's it. 3. The hotel's building layout is circular, so most rooms can see into each other, offering zero privacy. And being located in the city, there's absolutely no scenery to speak of. 4. A hotel of this size and in this location is simply not suitable for villas; it feels like a fake villa trying to create a sense of luxury, and the golf cart shuttle service is also quite pointless. The decor feels like that of an economy hotel. The standard room's TV felt like only 40 inches, and the decor was very rough. I honestly wouldn't pay more than 500 per night for a standard room here."

"This is definitely a guesthouse I'll be returning to. It's incredibly pet-friendly; I forgot dog food and pee pads, and the front desk provided them for me. Since it was off-season, they upgraded my room. The room was huge, beautifully designed, and felt very secure, plus it had a large, comfortable balcony. I'd seen reviews saying the pool water was dirty and the playground slide was broken, but I found that wasn't the case at all. The pool water was very clean, just had a few fallen leaves. The playground slide was quite fun, and the tire for the slide was new, not broken. You can even bring your dog to play there. There are bicycles and electric scooters available at the guesthouse entrance. Riding around was quite enjoyable. It's also very convenient for dining and exploring nearby areas, with Yu Village just a 10-15 minute drive away. The guesthouse also has its own restaurant. We arrived in the afternoon when the chef was sleeping, but they specially woke him up to make us noodles. The service is truly exceptional."

My only issue was that early in the morning, from just after 5 AM until 8 AM, a few older women (guests) were making a lot of noise in the ground-floor restaurant. Frankly, the owner should have stepped in. However, at that early hour, around 5 AM, the owner probably hadn't started work yet, and the kitchen staff can't really be expected to intervene in such situations. Fortunately, other guests were all very quiet."

Since it was a weekday, we negotiated a free upgrade. The views from the mountain are magnificent, over 80 meters higher than the lower location. I enjoyed heartwarming breakfasts prepared by the owner for two consecutive days. The breakfasts were incredibly delicious and thoughtfully made: the first day featured handmade dumplings and zongzi (sticky rice dumplings) paired with soft millet porridge, freshly ground hot soy milk, and aromatic coffee – authentic home-style flavors that were comforting and satisfying. The second day featured a special bamboo shoot noodle dish, which was fragrant and flavorful – so satisfying! Throughout my stay, the owner also thoughtfully provided me with various fresh fruits – small but delightful surprises at every turn. With its comfortable accommodations and warm hospitality, this is the perfect place to stay when traveling, and I'll definitely be back!"
