In fact, I stayed in this hotel for 4 days in Kunming and this is the hotel that makes me feel more in love with this country. They are so cute that they treat me like a real friend instead of a guest from far away. I lost my passport and thanks to their presence, my trip became more meaningful instead of feeling unlucky. The hotel is great and fully equipped according to the standards of a 4 to 5 star hotel. But what makes me feel the best is the way the hotel owner and staff helped us. If I have the opportunity, I will definitely come back here and recommend this wonderful accommodation to other friends. We stayed at Kunming PAPMAN Hotel Wanda for our first night in Kunming, and honestly, it was by far the best hotel of our entire stay. We only stayed for one night and didn’t have a chance to explore the surrounding area, but the hotel itself was exceptional. The hotel occupies two floors within a larger building, so there isn’t direct access to the hotel lobby from the ground floor. However, the hotel contacted us in advance with clear instructions on where to meet them at the car park. The staff came down to meet us, helped with all our luggage and brought us up to the lobby. This could have been an inconvenience, but the level of service completely made up for it. The staff were incredibly attentive, warm and genuinely went above and beyond from the moment we arrived. The hotel itself is beautifully designed. Every corner was thoughtfully decorated and incredibly photogenic, and the overall aesthetic was stylish without compromising on comfort. Even our room was beautifully designed, comfortable and very well equipped, with lots of thoughtful amenities included. The views from the hotel were also lovely. Unfortunately, it was raining during our stay, so we didn’t get to properly enjoy or photograph the rooftop pool, which was a little disappointing — but it gives us another reason to come back! One of our favourite additions was the photoshoot. The hotel was incredibly accommodating and allowed us to arrange a much earlier photoshoot slot because we were short on time. The experience was so good that we ended up purchasing additional photos beyond the three included with our room. It was such a fun and memorable experience. Our room rate also included afternoon tea, although we arrived at night and unfortunately didn’t have the opportunity to try it. However, supper was included and was honestly one of the highlights. It was a combination of semi-buffet and made-to-order dishes, with a surprisingly good variety. Everything we tried was delicious, and there was more than enough food. It was such a nice and unexpected inclusion, especially after travelling all day. We were also celebrating our child’s birthday during our stay, and the hotel had thoughtfully prepared a birthday cake and a little present for him in advance. It was such a sweet and thoughtful touch, and really made us feel welcomed and looked after❤️ Overall, we were genuinely impressed by this hotel. From the beautiful design and comfortable rooms to the incredible service, thoughtful inclusions, photoshoot and birthday surprise, everything felt very well thought out. The service in particular really stood out — the staff were attentive, friendly and incredibly helpful throughout our short stay. We only stayed one night and didn’t leave the hotel during our stay, so unfortunately we can’t comment much on the surrounding area or its convenience for exploring Kunming. But based purely on our experience at the hotel, we would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

I rarely write any reviews, but my stay at the Doubletree was extremely worth documenting. Coming out of a 24 hour long trip, this hotel and its staff Yedda, Daisy, Jack and Mr. Wang immediately made me feel home! First of all, arranging airport pick up was extremely smooth. Mr. Wang waited for me patiently at a clearly instructed parking place, so there was no confusion. Next, as soon as I arrive at the hotel, there were staff members helping me with the suitcase and guiding me to check in. Then Yeda and Daisy showed their extreme hospitality by providing an amazing room on a higher floor with a view, helped me charging my phone, providing me with freshly baked welcoming snacks. And Jack walked me through on connecting my phone and laptop to the hotel WIFI. Due to my work schedule, they’ve accommodated me with late checkout. Room is huge and clean with full amenities.. even a scale! And yes! I ate both of the rice noodle dishes!! Thank you for going above and beyond taking care of me on this short trip.. I’ll be back and will looking forward to seeing Mr. Wang, Yedda, Daisy, and Jack again soon!

The hotel reception staff was friendly. Breakfast was moderate. As I don't have a local number hence it was difficult to get the driver to pick me up at the airport. Thus, the staff suggested to didi instead and reimbursed me later. If you are looking for a short stay for an early or late flight, I think it is still a good choice.

Room was large, comfortable and well maintained, though this is an older hotel. One issue was the strong cigarette smell that remained through my stay. Location is not near city center, but a Walmart & many eateries are across the street. I know this is a busy holiday week, but staff should be more welcoming.

房間夠大，酒店位置還可以，到地鐵口走路500多米就到珥季路地鐵站，酒店有洗衣房，早餐還挺豐富的。

We had a really wonderful experience. My family and I, a total of five people, booked a deluxe business smart suite room, which has three bedrooms. The hotel was new and clean. The location was nice, with a shopping mall, food stalls, and bus stop nearby. The decoration in the room was really nice and the room was spacious. Although it said that the room was smoking permitted, the room doesn't smell at all. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We had a pleasant stay.

great value for money for short transit. The owners are all kind and you even got a free station pick up and drop off service.

Ia berhampiran dengan Stesen Kereta Api Selatan Kunming, sesuai untuk rakan-rakan singgah dan berehat, dan ia juga sangat mudah untuk membeli-belah dan makan di sekitarnya. Saya menempah bilik semasa Festival Musim Bunga Berbanding dengan hotel lain, tiada caj tambahan dikenakan, dan perkhidmatannya baik dengan mengambil dan menghantar di tapak.
